99 Days! Finally Double Digits....

Oh my gosh, we are getting closer now to Christmas. Just 99 days until we leave for Christmas and New Years in Disney! (Dec 18 - Jan 5th) First time onsite, first time over Christmas, Kids are taking their first ride in a stretch limo to resort and it will be our first time in helicopter to tour over Disney! (shhh, kids don't know, Christmas surprise)

I am busting at the seams, casue it is hard to keep quiet!

Hey Charleyann,

I'm right there with ya! We're surprising our kids with a trip to WDW Dec 14-20th. This will be the second trip for all four of us. Last trip was November 05.

Wha't your plan for telling your kids? Is the entire trip a surprise? How old are they? Ours are 9 and 12 and we leave for the airport on Friday the 14th, right when they get home from school. My plan is to have a limo (got a great deal from a friend) waiting in our driveway so when they walk home from the bus stop they'll have the bug-eyed, "What the...." look on their faces, which of course we'll capture on video. When they get in the limo, I'm going to hand them each my own "Disney" version of "The 12 Days of Christmas" with difficult clues. As we're driving to the airport, they'll have to figure out where we're going! I'm so excited, but am committed not to tell them before we leave!

The kids know we are going on a Disney trip. They just don't know the surprises instore for them!

Your idea of the limo is great too! The excitment in their eyes will blow us away. Our limo will be awaiting us at the airport. Kids think we are going on Magic Express! LOL It is so much fun to do this for our kids. Memories are forever!!!!
