$99 cruise

I've noticed some people have been mentioning the $99 cruise deal. What are the details of this? Is this a special deal they have once a year or just occasionally? Just thought I'd ask.

Those who were lucky enough to sail last January were offered the $99 cruise deal for this fall...

i believe this was a one time deal due to 9/11 and the drop in tourism. If you sailed a four or seven day DCL cruise in january 02, you received a voucher in your stateroom the last night of the cruise, for a return three day cruise at 99 plus port charges. Fortunately, i was lucky enough to get one!
