97 degrees in Anaheim this Wed & Thurs????

I've been watching the extended weather forecast for Anaheim for our upcoming trip. It says that it will be 97 degrees on Wednesday and Thursday. Can that possibly be right? I mean, I know they are usually a few degrees off, and it can suddenly change -- but I was thinking mid 70's or low 80's. I guess I'll be packing shorts and extra sunscreen LOL.

We're getting the Santa Ana winds, which are hot and dry winds blowing in from the deserts northeast of the L.A. basin. This is different than heat caused by the sun beating down on you mid-summer, and I kind of like the Santa Anas, but not everyone agrees. It can be a problem for allergy sufferers.

Funny how different the weather predictions can be. Wunderground is saying 95F on Wed, 89F Thurs; Weather.com is saying 89F Wed, 86F Thurs. I hope weather.com is right! I don't mind high 80s, but 90's. Yuck! We'll definitely be able to use the pool though. LOL And at least it is supposed to cool off some by the end of the week. Bring on the 70's/80's! It's going to be a nice, drastic change for us since we're in rainy/cool Washington.

Also, a question for anyone who knows, I noticed that it's supposed to be really windy today b/c of the Santa Ana's, does that continue through the week or should the wind die down?

I live near the coast and expect it to be in the mid-80's for a few days next week. Anaheim can be 10 degrees hotter than us, so mid-90's does not surprise me.

I'm with you Hound 109. The last two times we were at DCA, it was just too chilly. Can't wait!

Yep...it's gonna be a hot one this week! Cool at night though, so bring a light jacket.

It's warmer than usual out here on the east coast, too, hit 80 today, which is about 15-20 degrees warmer than normal for the latter half of October in PA!

I hope the warm temps stick around at DL for another couple weeks....we would love to be wearing shorts and go swimming when we are out there! Most of my DD's adorable Disney-themed outfits are warmer weather outfits!
