If I use points to book 2 nites at the fort, do I also have to pay the $95 fee for booking at a resort that is not DVC or is it considered a part of the VWL?

Fort Wilderness is a different resort all together. Its across the lake. Also yes the $95 fee applies.

Along this same train of thought, I just read that Fort Wilderness Cabins have been reclassified as a Moderate Resort. So yes, the $95 fee would apply.

Thanks for the info. I assume the campsites would be the same "moderate" level as the cabins...?

How much is the campsite if pay by cash?? Can't be more that $95!!!

Check w/ member services. I was told by MS that they did not charge the $95 for the campsites.

It depends when you go and what you want, but the WDW websites says $42-$115 a night.

And if you're paying cash, they have AAA discounts available. :thumbsup2 I love staying on property with 5 people for less than $40/night!

We were considering staying using points for a Friday & Sat and then moving to the VWL on points for weekdays, but I think it is only $112 for those nights at the Fort when using cash, so I guess I'll do that rather than using up points AND paying $95!
