90+ minute hold time....is something going on?

I guess I was lucky...I called today at approximately noon EST and was on hold maybe 5 minutes? Saved $306 once the discount was applied to my existing 9 night POP reservation!

Ok no for me I'm booked at POFQ and I'm NOT willing to switch resorts we really enjoy the live music and smaller scale resort. I could have saved $300 changing to POP preferred room We really like POP, it will only be my DH and I sooooo no kids to look after.

This is making me think of the pros and cons now.

POP loud pool area drinks by the pool in March could be dicey.
POFQ nice bar area with live music small scale boat to DTD.

We are renting a car for the trip

If anyone has any suggestions I'm open

THanks for the update! I have a bounce back booked for October and wanted to add a few days.....I will wait til things calm down! I got through the first time to regular customer service, but they told me I had to talk specifically to the bounce back department anyone have experience modifying a bounce back?

I've modified by taking days off a bb, but I've never added days. It is a separate department that does it though. I remember calling early one evening and I was told the bb department was closed for the night and to call back the next day.

I heard the web site crashed and the phones were crazy yesterday due to the new spring deals. I heard the deals are really good and people are saving tons of money. I think you have to travel between by June.

We made our reservations yesterday and I guess we were quite lucky. We called and got right through, made our reservations at POR-RS and was completely done in about 20 mins.

But....last night we were trying to make our ADR's and we ran into server problems. Was able to make a few and will try to complete today. Let's see if its better.

I had heard of people saving hundreds of dollars, someone on this thread saved $900. Maybe people were waiting to book until this deal was released and that's why the phones and web site went crazy.

It looks like they also give you a day on your 4 or more day park hopper. I think the price difference is only about $10pp to add a day on a 4 day hopper.

I was having trouble booking all day yesterday. The website crashed every time I tried to look at room rates! Even the chat was down, and the phone lines were jammed.

You will not lose any ADRs you have already made if you change or even cancel a room reservation. They are not linked together.

I called to add a day to our BB and just went through the regular number with no issues.
