90 min tour at Vistana?

Starwood called me and offered 10,000 starpoints if I take a 90 min tour of Vistana. I am tempted and wonder if anyone has taken the tour? Does it really only take 90 min? they said they would pick us up at the Dolphin with a towncar. Thanks for any info about this!

We took the tour (for $75 cash) in August while we were staying at the resort. It took less than 90 minutes for us, by just a couple of minutes. I was impressed. It may have helped that I was very forthright about not being able to afford a second timeshare (I already own at Westgate Lakes). I told them the only way I could buy in was if they wanted to buy out my interest in Westgate (they didn't).

I say go for it--10,000 points is a night at the Swan or Dolphin, isn't it?

Yes, I heard the tour is very low key and no pressure. We are going to do it. The 10,000 points are very hard to turn down! You are correct, 10,000/1 nt. S/D!

Do it. Of course the salepeople want to make a sale, that's how they get paid. But, if you are clear about not wanting to buy, the 10,000 points are worth the 90 minute (or less) tour. Besides, you never know, you might want to buy. Vistana is beautiful... we love it there. BTW, if you did want to buy, check out the prices at regular real estate brokers first. They often have units available for resale, much cheaper than you can get them Vistana directly.
