Hey I have a question. What if you are staying off site renting a house before you move on property. Can you not make dining ressies for the days you are off property? I am asking because of the 90 day rule where you have to call in 90 days ahead now. If my WDW resort stay starts on say Aug. 1st but we are off property starting on July 25th do I have to wait until May 1st to call for the Aug. 1st on property start of my trip and I am just out of luck making ressies for the days we are off property????

You can still call and make an ADR 90 days before you need it. It's just that you have to do one each day. You can't use the +10 perk until you are a resort guest. Once you are 90 days from your resort checkin date, you can call and make all of your ADRs for the remainder of that trip. You might want to check the ADR calculator on wdwinfo.com (this site) under dining. It will tell you exactly what date is your 90 day.

July 25th you can call on Apr 26th
Aug 1 you can call on May 3

You can call 90 days out from your Disney resort arrival day and make 10 days worth of reservations (but not backwards - EDITED: well actually it could be backwards, since that would be less than 90 days at that point - so ignore that comment!).

So for your off-site days, you can still make ADRs, but you can only call on the exact 90th day out from the day you want the reservation. So if you're off-site for 5 days, and you want a TS every one of those days, you will have to call 5 days in a row. Then from 90 days out from your WDW check-in day, you can make multiple days worth of reservations for the rest of your trip.

What is the rule if you are staying more than 10 days?

What is the rule if you are staying at two separate Disney resorts in the same vacation? (ie 10 days at Beach Club, then move to Boardwalk for 10 days) Do they count as two separate resort arrival days?

Crystal ball says -- unclear for the split stay thing.

For the longer than 10 days, I think you have to call back on the 90th day out from your 11th stay day, and maybe make them one day at a time from that point on.

For the split stay, both answers have been reported - some CMs have let people book for the 2nd part of their stay on the phone call making ADRs for the 1st part of the stay, some CMs have not. Not sure what the official policy is. A CM did let me make reservations for my 2nd stay based on my arrival date for the first part of my stay - she was hesitant, but the system let her do it and she did. Others said the CM wouldn't do it.

If you call and they won't, call back again and get someone different and try again.
