I hope he does pay child support for the kids that live with their mothers. I would be shocked if the mothers aren't supporting them all by themselves, which is certainly not how it should be...he certainly can't be helping a lot with the physical aspects of parenting from Florida when they are in New York.

which brings up to question-how did he qualify for the k-1? in order to bring someone in on a k-1 you have to sponsor them and show you have the means w/existing obligations to provide for them. when i worked for social services i encountered a handful of adults w/children who were initialy sponsored into the u.s. but things fell apart and they ended up on public assistance. the sponsor ended up in the same boat that an absent parent ends up in that situation-something akin to a child support obligation is set up on each person they sponsored. the same kind of wage attachments and other mechanisms are used to collect and offset what is being paid out through public funds. if robert is the named father of all those other kids and any of them are receiving public assistance i can't imagine how, with the child he already had in his custody, he could have qualified as an uber driver to sponsor on the k1.

maybe like rebecca he got a friend to do the sponsorship portion (if i remember right b/c she is still on the hook for her former k1 ex hubby her bff/former boss is the legal sponsor for zied).

Their scenes during the season took place right at the beginning of the pandemic, when everything was locked down and only essential services were open. Since he has the kind of career that lets you set your own hours and do some of the work from home, the fact that he doesn't come and go pretty much tracks.

Well technically Nicole never brought Azan here. From what I remember 1. He keeps getting denied. 2. She asked her family to sponsor him and they said NO!

I just did a quick google search. It appears that he OWNED (past tense) Quantum Money, LLC which is listed as permenantly closed. It looks like he may have been sued by a bank in 2012 for a bad loan.

I just also never got the impression he was "well-off". Comfortable and able to provide for his child yes, but well-off? nope.

Yeah they both tested positive and are both high risk. Her due to her age and him due to his diabetes.
