9 yr old girl's bday gift

I almost forgot, my DD is invited to a bday party tonight. This is a girl in our neighborhood and younger than DD. Not sure what to get her! The party is "girls night out" theme in their home. Mom is planning to paint nails for all the girls. I asked the mom what the girl would like and she laughed and said "a surprise".

I was thinking a little spa kit maybe? Something in the $15 range. Or what is the hot item? Are polly pockets still big? Is that too young for 9?

Gift card... We did one for a little girl to walmart this past weekend and recipient was happy.

The standard gift around here for the 7-11 set is Webkinz. They all have them, they all play with them on line, and most of them haul them around to each other's houses and play with the actual stuffed animals there too.

My DD will be 9 this month. She loves anything from Justice or even a Justice gift card. She also wants the new Monster High dolls (kind of like Barbie dolls). She would also like a spa gift-nail polish, makeup, etc. She also likes crafty stuff. Hope this helps. Good luck!
