9 nights would you do a split stay?

Splitting a 9 night trip here...first 4 nights at the Cabins at Fort Winderness, last five at Saratoga Springs. Did a similar trip last summer, and the kids loved both parts. I think 9 nights is a good number to consider splitting up...long enough to feel like you are settled in two separate vacations. Enjoy!

Split stays are fine if you pre-plan. I will be at BLT in July for 3 nights, followed by 5 nights at SSR. I am really excited to be able to have two mini vacations. As a previous poster stated, pack for the two parts separately and you will not have to worry about packing and repacking. I think people really exaggerate when they say you lose 1/2 to whole day when you switch resorts. Plan on not getting in the room before 4 and do what you want that day.

I *think* we are going to rent points and stay at AKL for 9 nights. But, now I am wondering if we should split the stay with a resort that you can walk or ferry to a park for convenience. Our kids are 8 and 9.. The only reason I am considering splitting the stay is because I read the AK resorts are dark and it is kind of isolated. I like that it is a bit quieter, but not sure if 9 nights would be too long of it...

We always split stay and love it! We did a double split in February eight nights between beach club, bay lake tower and animal kingdom. There were three kids in the group from six to ten and they LOVED ak. We had a two bedroom villa and it was huge. This resort was sooooo cool. I would only stay there if I had a savannah view though. We sat out on the patio all the time and watched the animals.

Split stay transfer was super easy!
