I forgot to mention in earlier reports that everyday as we returned to PO the maid had a left a figure or scene for us...ghosts, animals, our possessions posed in various ways. On DSs b-day, a signed picture of Mickey and Goofey w/some candy was waiting (w/o us having requested it!). I mentioned to DH that I was going to stop by guest services later in week and request they do something for DS 6 so he wasn't feeling left out. Father's Day - Hit MK as they opened. Did Tomorrowland, Toontown and Adventureland. This was the most crowded out of our 10 days, and very hot. After Aladdin's Carpet Ride we decided to leave. Walked down Main Street and stopped at last cart vendor to buy water...they were sold out. Got back to car and DH decided he wanted to stop at DD to check on something at Marina. Seems like the air conditioning never kicked in. He parked by DQ and we walked all the way to the marina, well almost...by the time we hit McDonald's I was about to pass out from heat stroke. Went into McDonald's, took of my shoes (sorry folks), and sipped iced tea and water and rubbed ice on our necks and heads for about an hour until recuperated. We were going to go back and swim, but stopped and DQ and ended up there the rest of the night!!
When we returned to hotel room, a picture of Buzz Lightyear waiting for DS 6....without us having requested....more Disney Magic and thoug htfulness!!
Monday......slept in and ate at food court. Typhoon Lagoon, then showers and Epcot Future World.
Tuesday....went parasailing at Contemporary. Then spent some time at MGM. Left early for dinner at Cape May, then walked around the Boardwalk for a bit. Then went back to YBC Marina to meet with others for our Illuminations Cruise. We remember how much we loved Illuminations from our last trip, but hated waiting. In all honesty, the cruise part was over rated. We would have been disappointed if we had to pay for the entire boat ourselves, but met some nice people from this forum to share the boat with. DSs liked the cruise and meeting other boys, but you cannot see all of Illuminations. Next....Part 4 (and final part)
