9 Magic nights in Norway 6/20/2015

Wow… we have so many people already :good vibes

I know this is kinda early but I thought I would ask. Is anyone interested in doing a FE? My husband and I had such a great time with it last time. Though being that we will have to fly home from Norway I think we might want to make some limitations on gift size and quantity. I would sure hate to have to leave something behind due to suitcase being too full

If people are interested I do not mind heading up the group :surfweb:

I am interested - limitations make sense as well.

We are joining.. we were able to get a sph room.

our TA took care of it for us. We are gold and it was a transfer of an existing OBB. She just keep the same room we had on the original cruise. She booked it on opening day

I'm interested in doing the FE if the number of cabins are limited.
One idea that we did on a recent cruise, was there were over 50 cabins signed up so they made a separate group with adult only cabins. I have done FEs on most of our 14 Disney cruises and have always enjoyed giving to the kids. But there were some cruising w/o kids that didn't want to buy for them.
Anyway, with limited luggage space we'll all have to plan carefully.
But we love to participate in the FE and miss it when were on other cruise lines.

Well I say this with great joy and sadness... Our vacation time has been approved and we will be sailing on the Rotterdam 14-day. i wish everyone the best cruise and will miss not being apart of the FE group. say hello to Anna and Elsa for me :)

Hi Bob and Dale :wave2:

Linda (seaulater) and I will be joining you on this cruise as well as the 11N Copenhagen to Dover as part of our B2B2B2B...

Hi, we also booked this cruise Wednesday along with the 11-night Norway/Iceland cruise. The two cruises make a great B2B adventure. Great seeing past cruising friends on this cruise.

Pete & Faith

Checking in! Just got off the Magic on a 3 night itinerary. The crew is definitely excited for 2015 and are already trying to figure out their schedules so they are on the ship for these itineraries!

So fun to be sailing with everyone again!

I know it is too early to know, but my DD12 (13 at time of cruise) wants to know if they will have a night they will have Norwegian food, because she would like to try it.

Also since Limited sea days, will they have Formal and Semi Formal nights?

I don't know about this cruise. But we were on a 10 night Europe cruise with Disney a few years ago, with ports almost every day and they did have formal and semi formal nights ... As well as pirate night! I don't think they had any themed food - but we ate lunch in town at each port and tried to get local flavors that way.

Thanks.. That helps. When we did Alaska, they had one night that was Taste of Alaska, but I would assume since Norway is such a short duration, they can not revamp their menu at a whim. Alaska was a whole season.

On the 12 night Baltic in 2010 they had a Russian night and a Swedish night. Sadly we missed both. During the Russian night, we were in town (St Petersburg stopover). For the Swedish night we were in Palo. So it's possible. It would be nice if Disney could bring aboard some fresh fish. We do enjoy eating lunch in town, too.

We'll be joining Jake (36), Keli (36) and Kytalin (8).

Can't wait. Has a FE been started for this cruise?

:welcome:

We had one person volunteer to organize the FE but she left this sailing for another cruise line. There is surely interest within the thread but the FE hasn't formerly been organized yet.

One thing I think would be fun, not that I don't love Pirate Night, but just to mix it up, would be if they had a Viking Night or something instead :-). That's probably just a bit crazy. But like I said, just for something totally different from the usual DCL activities. As if going to Norway wasn't different enough LOL!!

We totally dress for formal night, but I don't know how far we'd go with it due to trying to pack light. And the family wants to spend a few days lugging our suitcases off to Germany before or after.

Booked last night!! Very excited!!! 1 year, 2 months, and how many days!!?? :)

:welcome:

Check out the countdown in my signature for the ticker. Maybe even make one of your own. The DIS made it very easy.

BTW I searched the entire smile list for a Viking. These are the closest. :darth:pirate:

Wish I knew how to make one or petition someone to make one.
