So, I've finally gotten to this place... 9 days away & it no longer seems real... how odd!
I remembered something i must share... my last trip to Disney was when i was 9... i'm 26 now... the trip before that was when i was 4... seems like forever to stay away, but coming from India, it's an expensive affair!
Anyway, one of my earliest childhood holiday memories is my father picking me up, throwing me into the air, to catch the Epcot small Fountains with my mouth... d small ones that dance about unexpectedly... and it so delightful & exciting for me & my weary armed father we aimed right & caught the water every time... it's a strange, perhaps silly memory to keep... but i remember it vividly & it still me smile.
So many, many years have gone by & needless to say, my Father doesn't carry me around anymore... but that is what made Disney my happy place... and as stupidly sentimental as is it, i am thankful to Disney for giving it to me...
Now i'm going back with my fiancée... how life has come full circle... I've realized that i have been 'Disney dreaming' for so many years... and as excited as i am to go, i will miss my father terribly!
Many thanks to DIS & all you promoters of the MAGIC...
