9 Days Poly CL DxDP...Too Much Food???...Too Much Fun!!!...1600 Pictures

We really like Coral Reef, too! We will be eating there one night during our trip. Actually, our tradition is to eat there on our last night and then ride The Living Seas one more time before we leave.

I will let you know about The Wave. I think that the menu looks really interesting. We're also trying Via Napoli this trip. I'm excited about it because I love to make homemade pizza. My husband got an amazing pizza stone thingy for the grill for Father's Day so we are now able to make really good pizza (I must say!) at home.

Where will you guys be eating during your vacation? Are you doing the DDP? Heather, will you guys be doing the DxDP again for your short trip?

..... Do you guys have AP's? I assume you drive in usually, how long does it take you? I wish we lived closer!

Yeah, we always drive....it's only 4 1/2 hours from Savannah...give or take. To be honest, I have never looked into APs, but probably should. When we lived in Orlando 10 years ago, I had passes and it was great. Each time we drive down, DH and I are constantly saying..."I bet they're on the way to Disney...Do you think they are going to Disney?" We're ridiculous....and still not sure about the costumes. I think I might just get us T-shirts...who knows DH isn't crazy about the idea of eating at a TS restaurant in costume

Not doing the dining plan this trip. This little get away was so last minute...at first we were going to go, then we weren't, then we finally said ok, let's go. I'm going to save EVERY receipt and see how it adds up to the DDP. We are going to the Rain Forest Cafe at AK...thought the kids would like it. It's been years since DH and I have been. We are actually going to try The Wave...like y'all, I've read mixed reviews, but why not try it?! We will do that on Sunday at 5pm, then head over to MNSSHP. I have ressies at The Grand Flordian Cafe...not sure if we will keep this. Might try Citricos, too. This is going to be a VERY relaxed trip!!!...DTD, Boardwalk, pool...that's about it. Oh...and I almost forgot to ask...what is Via Napoli and where is it? Sounds good.

Via Napoli is the new place in Italy in EPCOT, check out the dis blog and John and Kevin from disunplugged did a review on the podcast - hillarious! It sounds really good! You should try it!

Thanks for your kinds words. We really did have an awesome time...I'm very fortunate to have such a wonderful family. I see that y'all have stayed at the BCVs a couple of times. Our June trip will be there...if all goes as planned I'm really anxious to see if I like the villas over a regular room....and VERY anxious to see if I like the EP resorts as much as I love the monorail resorts.

Thanks!! I seriously can't say enough good things about BCV. We LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I do love the monorail too, but the atmosphere, location and POOL at the BC are vacation to me. We just love it. Hope you do too!

On our October trip, we are going to head over to the Boardwalk/BC area and walk around, maybe eat. I'm going to really check out the Beach Club this time...perhaps stop by Beaches N Cream for dessert. My son is totally sold on the SAB pool. Basically he could care less about the room/resort...just wants to swim in the pool. I'm still hoping that room discounts are offered!! I'm going to have a hard time paying $845 per night for a 2br villa...ouch!

After a great breakfast, we jumped on the monorail for one last trip to the MK.

I've probably said this 100 times, but the monorail is awesome. Some people think it's overrated, but with 3 children, 2 strollers and grandparents...it's a lifesaver!

There were a few rides that the kids wanted to do before we left.....Aladdin's Magic Carpet ride being one of them.

Of course we had to do Buzz Lightyear!! It's one of my favorites, too.

I think DH still had the highest score...not sure what he does to achieve this...he won't tell us

While the boys went to ride other stuff, my mother and I went to Main Street to use up our extra snack credits! We bought tons of candy, chocolate, marshmellow treats, etc! I could NOT believe the "junk" we purchased...but why not...they snack credits would have just gone to waste.

It was finally time to go........the kids did not want to leave...imagine that?! 10 days, and they still don't want to go home. We jumped on the boat back to the Poly. Notice my dad's bag...or should I say bags...full of candy. The dentist is sure to get a call in the next few months.

The Poly allowed us to check out an hour later, so we went back to the room, freshened up, and said our good-byes. Don't you hate making that journey "out" of the resort....so depressing!

This picture is most ridiculous! We had room coming down! What happened??!! DH can't even find a place to put our last purchase.

My dad came around to see if he could help. Mom and I just stood back and laughed! You couldn't see out of the back window.

This was one of the best trips our family has taken! I can't say anything negative! Every dime spent was well worth it. Yes...Disney is expensive, but the memories that were made will never be forgotten. Our family is already looking forward to another Magical vacation in June....until then....thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts and comments!

We will actually be at the Poly on Sat. Oct 16th for dinner at Kona's around 7ish. Keep your eye out ...we might go to the beach and watch the EWP, too. Wish we were were staying at the Poly, again...y'all will have such a great time!!! When you return, let me know about your trip...make lots of pics!

I see your TR is about over. I was posting and following along in the beginning and middle, but then had to go to China in August to adopt my daughter.

Because of YOUR TR, I was obsessed with the idea of staying at the Poly for our special family/Christmas trip. When I returned from China, it looked like a no-go, neither a TA nor Disney could get me in for my dates, even at rack room prices.

Thank Goodness for Expedia, I not only got into Poly for my preferred dates, but at a great rate. The only other thing that I am now obsessing on because of your TR is Club Level!!! I wonder if the fairies will be able to send pixie dust my way in allowing that to manifest for us! Here's to pixie dust and your wonderful TR. I have enjoyed every single post.

Congratulations on the adoption!!! What a lucky little girl! And congrats on getting the Poly!!! Y'all will have such a fabulous trip, especially at Christmas time. Maybe CL will be in your future....if not....no worries...you can't go wrong with the resort. We tried, also, to get the Poly for our quick trip in October, but no luck. All discounted rooms were gone. So, we will be at the WL. I know I will be missing the monorail and the Poly views and beaches. I can't wait to see all of your pictures! I know your family is super excited. Look forward to following along on your TR.
