9 days of FP - in 11 minnutes

After hosting a large dinner party with the last guests just departing, remembered to check the time and it was 11:59 EST.

All FP+ secured by 12:11.

I still hate having to play the FP+ game but so happy I knew the rules of engagement ahead of time.

Sweet! I booked ours on Thursday night. 10 days, took me about 15 minutes to get everything arranged exactly the way I wanted it, but I am quite happy with the end result.

What is the best strategy to book fp+? My window is July 8th for the week of Labor Day and I'm booking for 7 people. Any best practices? Tia

First have your items planned out ahead of time. If you have any really hard to get items, e.g. Ann and Elsa, start at the end of the trip. (Though September is usually not too crowded.

I think the best way to schedule FPs is to choose the opposite offering from Disney. You will choose your park and attractions. Disney will generate four possible set of times. Choose the one is the opposite of what you really want. For example, if you are planning evening times choose the morning set of times. This makes it easier with fewer movements to change the attractions to the times you actually want.

Print out the parks' openings and closings with parade/show times - choose your likely parks for each day knowing you might have to make an alternative selection. I selected FP+ for the parks/attractions I thought would be most difficult first which was not in order by dates. HW for Toy Story Mania and MK for Seven Dwarfs. I did all FP+ /day at once.

Logged in exactly at 12:00 - would have logged in at 11:57 under ideal circumstances.

Had the first two sets by 12:03. (MK & TS)

Continued selecting in order of 'can't miss'.

Having the schedule in front of me made all the difference.

I do my FP + tonight. I have two MK days where I want SDMT so I should do those days first? Do you think Soarin, Everest and RNRC will be a hurry up and get or should I just go for SDMT days first ?

If it's the same group of people, I'd go for the first MK day planned at 12:00 to get SDMT and then I'd go to get Soarin and then back to the next MK day for another SDMT, then RNRC and the Everest.

If it's different people, I'd do the two MK - SDMT first.
