We will be at OKW for 8 nights. I was concidering doing a few days 1-2 someplace else. My son is actually going to be almost 3 when we go in November but he is already 39.5 inches tall with his shoes on. I think he should be 40 inces when we go for sure.

He loves Shrek BIG TIME so I was thinking about going to Universal.

Is the price for 2 adults worth seeing shrek? We most likely will not ride many adult rides because of having our Son with us. What else is there and is it worth it. It is not that we are on a budget or anything we just don't want to miss out on the tings we will enjoy as a family.

We will also go the sea worls one day too.
Thanks!
Karrie

You could park hop, if it's off season you could do both in one day. We've managed it before!

Shrek is the best attraction in Universal IMO, but it's not worth a day's admission just for that. And there isn't really that much else in Universal...

There is an entire section devoted to kids with a huge water play area, a Barney Show, a kiddie coaster and other interactive areas. He might like the ET ride as well as the Jimmy Neutron ride. He might even enjoy Terminator depending on how he is with loud noises. There is also the Animal Actors show that kids really enjoy as well.

I would have to disagree with the other poster on here, there are LOTS to do at Universal, I would do both Islands of Adventure and the main park. You could easily take 2 days, I really think you would think it was all worth it when its done. Just being there is awesome. Especially the theme-ing at IOA is unbelievable, best park in the world in my opinion.

I agree that there is a lot for little ones at US as mentioned above and if your child isn't overly fearful, some of the adult attractions will be fine for all of you such as twister and earthquake...these are okay for most children. Use child swap for the attractions he is too small for. Oh, and i'd avoid Terminator, i think it would scare most little ones because it is so intense and loud. Hope you enjoy the parks.

Thanks everyone :)

He is a pretty brave little guy, I think he can handle some scary stuff if it is not too bad. Well, as long as he is not over tired :rolleyes1

Now to decide what tickets to get.... Hopefully park hoping will be fine the week of November 12th to the 20th
