We were originally going to be at DL 6 days so the 6 day PH would have worked out great. Now however, a bunch of my family is joining us and can't come until later in our trip so we added a few days to have more time with them. We will now be there for 9 days and there doesn't appear to be anything longer than a 6 day ticket.

1) Can you add days to a 6 day park hopper, if so how :goodvibes
2) An annual pass doesn't look like it would work because the premium (which we would need due to black out dates during our visit) ends up more than 6 plus 3 day tickets.
3) My dad being retired Military can get 3 day PH's for $99 which would be great and take care of the extra 3 days (he's one of the one's joining us). Maybe that's the best option. Does anyone know if these 3 day passes are subject to black out dates since they are such a good deal?

Thanks in advance Disboarders :surfweb:

You can add days to a 6 day ticket at the ticket booth, but I've only heard of people going up to 8 days. When are the blOck out days during your trip? You can start with a PH and upgrade on your last block out day. Plus you could use the AP discounts for food. Your cheapest option is add 2 days to your 6 day ($5/day) and taking a day off mid trip to swim, relax or head to the beach.

I'd buy a 9-day no-expire WDW ticket (with or without the park-hopper) through Undercover Tourist and use one day at a time. If you subscribe to Mousesavers.com newsletter, they'll provide a special link to UT on the 15th of each month which will give you an even deeper UT discount.

Or you just may want to buy a DL AP and you'll get the AP discount privileges.

You don't need a non-expire. You can exchange as long as they are valid. But you need to exchange on a day by day basis so that can be time consuming, and I'm not sure its cheaper.

That's true. You don't need a non-expire if you're going to use all 9 days during the same trip, i.e., within 14 days of first use.

The discounted 10-day (there's no 9-day) UT price for a PH is $353.90, and the single-park price is $298.95. That comes to $36 or $30 per day for ten days. Not a bad deal. And it's not that time-consuming to exchange at the turnstile. APs can cost up to $499 (no blackout dates) at DLR.

I had no idea I could buy a pass for WDW and use it only at DL.We are going to be in the parks for 10 days next year and I could not figure out how we were going to manage that.I can buy an 8 day pass in Canada but we are not travelling outside the resort and it would be nice to be able to go into the parks even if just for a couple hours on our arrival day.
Thank you Disboarders:flower3: You guys rock:yay:

^^^^ Waste of money.

For 9 days at DL it's $286 for a hopper. 6 day gate price of a DL hopper is $271, $5 per day added on, $286 total. You could get lucky and get it for the discount E-ticket price of $266.

WDW 9 days are $283 a savings of $3 that will cost you 30-45 minutes of time to exchange each day at DL.

Also at DL you should get hoppers because it's so easy and often advantageous to hop. But the 9 day WDW hopper is $338.

For the OP the military option might looks great but you will need to get three of them and 3x99 will be $297, no longer a money saving idea after 6 days.

How many days can I add to a hopper? Can I add 2 days to an 8 day or 4 days to a six? I called and they had no idea about adding any days and suggested I buy each person two 5 day hoppers?:lmao:

If you call, they can't help you or may deny it's possible because they can't presell them. This is probably why they suggested two 5 days.

As far as I know you can add 8 days to a 6 day ticket, adding up to a total of 14 days. This total would be $311

I agree with that totally if I can add the 3 extra days for $5 per person per day. That is awesome. If that wasn't an option then I guess i would have had to buy a six day PH and then use the 3 d Military hopper. $5 is way better than $33 per day. :goodvibes
