We haven't given up totally on this, but it sure doesn't look good for us. :worried: We are considering the westbound because at least they have space available on it.

Get on the wait list. You might be surprised!!!!:goodvibes

I'm sure plenty of space will open up later!

There are a few from our group that are going on the Westbound! I wish there was a way for me to do both! LOL!!!!

We had a great time at the movie this morning. If y'all go see the movie bring plenty of tissue! Elvis & I were both boo hooing!!!! My head still hurts from crying. Afterwards he and I went out to eat BBQ for lunch. :)

I'm glad you and Elvis enjoyed the movie. Hope he had a great birthday:cake: . Carlin want to see it too. We will probably go when it officially opens.

Steph...when you mentioned BBQ it made me think of the last time I was in Dallas a couple of years ago. We ate at Sonny Bryan's..yum yum--good food & drink:bounce: !

I'll remind him to check the Dis! :thumbsup2

A little tidbit about the city we live in -- it is in the top 15 fattest cities in America according to Men's Fitness magazine. :rotfl: :rotfl:
Their criteria is number of fitness clubs vs number of resturants.... We have a huge number of resturants -- unfortunately most are chains! :sad2:

You got to see a movie I did not see yet!!!!:confused3 I want to go see Music and Lyrics with Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore. I just love her.

Is Chicago one of the fattest cities too?:woohoo: Just curious.

Don't forget the tissue!!! The people around us were not crying but, Elvis & I were trying not to make too much noise -- we were crying that hard!
He had a very good b-day! Everyone bought him plenty of Habbo coins! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: We are getting him a new basketball goal.

Jon will tell you that BBQ & beer go great together! Or Dublin Dr Pepper -- Dublin, TX is the only bottling plant that still uses pure sugar. Jon and the kids  it! BBQ, Fritos & DP (or Big Red!) are true Texas foods! LOL!

Maybe Jon will show up sometime on the boards.... He finally registered today on the Dis. he told me all the cool Disney names were already taken.

Okay I give up. What is a Habbo Coin????:confused3  :rolleyes1

Thanks for the news about Chicago being the fattest.:thumbsup2 because we have such great!!! food here. The Chicago Hot Dog:banana: ,Elia's Cheese Cake:rolleyes1 , and Chicago Style Pizza:rolleyes: . I am getting hungry again.:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Habbo.com is an online community where you can build your own rooms, intereact with others, etc.... Sort of like Sims. You buy Habbo coins at CVS & Gamestop and they are used to purchase *stuff* on Habbo.com. :) Him and Samantha have Katherine hooked on Habbo now. :rotfl: :rotfl: A few weeks ago (on a snow day) we (except Jon -- he went to work!) were all on Habbo *talking* in Claire's Habbo room. Katherine said that her df coun't understand how come we just didn't talk ont he phone with her --- he just doesn't *get* people wanting to do online stuff. :confused3 The funny part is that his degree is in Computers...........
The reason why we can all be on at the same time is because we all have our own computers -- our breakfast room was converted into a computer room with cabinaets and counters lining the walls. :lmao: We all sit next to each other while we're on the computer. :goodvibes

It all sounds good to me! :thumbsup2

No more food talk....I'm hungry for lunch! Chicago would be great for lunch. Wish I could just teleport there for a nice Chicago-style hot dog.

Hey Cheryl...did you get my PM?

I love good hot dogs!!!! Jon just doesn't get why anyone would like a hot dog -- he doesn't like potato chips or french fries, either......

I think they consider Chicago Style because there is celery salt used. Now I would much rather have a lobster.

What is Jon's favorite foods???? I suppose he doesn't like Cheetos either:confused3

I am so bummed to see so many people from the 10 night bringing the Magic home in 8/08! We were considering it, but when the actual dates came out, it would have Ty missing his first couple of days of 1st grade. I don't want him to do that, especially w/first grade!! If only the kids stayed home until after labor day for summer break, like we use to...we would be fine.

Maybe they'll do it again in a few years, then if it's 3rd grade, I think I'd be ok w/that. He missed the first 2 weeks days of his private K this year (as we were on the wonder) He is going to K again next year (public school), as he missed the cut by 1 week to go this year. He actually took a few days to get adjusted. Everyone was already settled into their routine and then Tyler came back (the K is at his preschool).

I know what you mean!!!! There are several from the 10nt that are going on the May repo -- we can't because of recital schedules. We won't know the recital schedule for 2008 until the end of this summer.... I couldn't wait that long to reserve our spots! ;)

If something happens -- and I get a windfall and extra time! LOL! I want to do one of the cruises that summer or even later on in the fall one of the DDips!
We have so many other trips to make and plan.
I'm trying not to let this 2008 repo get in the way of my planning for our 2007 trips.....June trip (to MI), our August trip -- Adventure By Disney Spirit of America, late Aug/Sept maybe a trip for a few days to WDW and our 23dd's wedding in Cancun in Oct of this year...... And dh is traveling so much this year... YUCK!!!!!

I know that there are many of us that want to travel on DCL together, again!

Hi Cheryl,

No luck on calling Disney yet, with working days and nights we don't have time to sit and wait for them to answer. I have Thursday off so I'll try again then. I haven't heard back from DU yet. No worries, we're prepared to wait.

Probably won't make it back here tomorrow, so I'll wish you all a :tinker:HAPPY VALENTINES DAY :flower3: :flower3:

Karen, The DCL released some rooms this morning!!! It seems it was 8:00 EST. I would have tried to hold one for you but I missed them. Keep checking DCL site!!! It was nice talking with you yesterday!!! What is the highest Cat you want. I can always put a temp hold on it.:thumbsup2
Cheryl

All About Children

I just thought this was the truth!!! Had to share.

1. You spend the first two years of their life
teaching them to walk and talk. Then you spend
the next sixteen telling them to sit down and shut up.

2. Grandchildren are God's reward
for not killing your own children.

3. Mothers of teens now know why
some animals eat their young.

4. Children seldom misquote you.

In fact,
they usually repeat word for word
what you shouldn't have said.

5. The main purpose of holding children's parties
is to remind yourself that there are children
more awful than your own.

6. We childproofed our homes,
but they are still getting in.

Aren't you so sweet? Highest cat we want right now is 11. Keeping an eye on DCL but I will stay on hold all day tomorrow, if need be, so I can talk with someone. Just realized I can still get on the boards even though I'm at work :goodvibes. According to DCL westbound is now sold out ... or it could just be this computer - it's really slow.:badpc:

All of these deserve repeating!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I always say that I don't understand why anyone would abuse a young child but, it should be perfectly legal to do whatever you want to a teenager. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Gotta run pick up Brian from Art class & Samantha from work -- she works at the Art school. Then grab dinner before play rehearsals!

LOL! He does like Cheetos. :thumbsup2 His favorite snack is Nacho Cheese flavored Doritos eaten with onion dip!. :rotfl: :rotfl:
