Hi Steph! I know- it is FLYING! Mike is toying with renting ours, I am too hormonal to deal with that though :lmao: Our new baby will be about 3 weeks old when we settle in the new house~ we found out on the 19th he is a boy :cloud9: We have been calling the baby "Mickey" this whole time so far, kinda fitting, eh? ;)

I'll be thinking about you!!! I can remember how NOT fun that was! LOL!

A BOY !!! I bet the girls are thrilled!!! Conratulations!!!!

Cheryl- I haven't gottong anytihng from DCL either :( We joined CClub too :(

Steph- the girls are thrilled, but not as much as my DH's Italian family is. He has 4 male cousins to "pass the name" and 2 of them plus us had only had girls, the 4th just got married in October- so this takes the pressure off him a bit ;)

How weird!!! Maybe you will get it today! Dose Castaway Club have your email? I don't get alot of email from them BUT, I do get some every couple of months or so -- I got a Christmas one, etc....

The mailing was a nice size - I unfolded it and taped it to the refrigerator -- it's the only thing onhte refrigerator so it is nice and noticable!!! LOL!

Okay Step, Quit rubbing it in.:rotfl2: :rotfl2: I told you DCL just does not like me. I guess with me trying to get my spray mister back from Castaway Cay, they hate me by now. I finally did get it back. It came in time for Christmas. I bought this pump sprayer so John would never get over-heated with his heart problems. We left it at the restaurant on Castaway Cay. It was brand new and JOHN left it there. I just paid $30 and was determined to get it back.:woohoo: They just never want to deal with me again.

I guess I better go undercover when I call in for my reservations.

The name is quite appropiate.  I plan on moving to Orlando in 5 years. I am already getting panic attacks just from thinking of getting rid of my stuff!!!!(lots and lots of Mickeys)

As far as the hormones, that is why I took the trip. My DD was driving me crazy. She got me in the end by waiting for me to have the baby the next morning after the Cruise. :thumbsup2 She got the last laugh.

We live on the east coast of the British Isles and from the back of our house, we look over the North Sea. There's absolutely nothing betwen us and the North Pole and we certainly feel the Polar winds this time of year. Holland is about 200 miles east from us.

If it's any consolation, the summer is warm (by UK standards).

If you feel adventerous you could do a search on Google for Cromer Norfolk or take a look at www.thisiscromer.co.uk/gal05.htm. The claim to fame in Cromer is the lifeboat and crabs.David

Wow, I took a look at the website. What a small quaint town. What is the population???? I at least noticed you play mostly American movies. My little cinema has twenty screens and the theater I do my work at has 30 screens.
We are known to have one of the largest shopping centers in the country(we used to be number 1) with over 300 stores under one roof. How far are you from London??? I did not realize you lived on a seaport. I guess we all just figure everyone comes from London.:rolleyes1 Yes, I do know you are from Whales.:thumbsup2 My neighbor would get insulted when I called him British. He took great pride being from Whales.

Where has Helen been? Just because she posts once, that is not enough.

Population of Cromer is about 6,500. The nearest city is Norwich, twenty-four miles away - where I work - in Norwich there are five or six cinemas with several screens each but none of them has 30 !!!

Cromer came alive in the Edwardian era with more and more railways. This is reflected in a high number of Edwardian properties in town.

We're 140 miles north east of London and it's two and a half hour train journey - no longer a good idea to take a car due to congestion charges in the city.

Me, Helen, and Alex were all born in Wales but moved from there in 1998. We rented a house for a year whilst we waited for our house to be built and moved into our house in May 1999.

Less than a year later, along came Bethan.

Cromer could never be described as a seaport instead it's a seaside resort in the summer. The only shipping here are about a dozen crab boats. From this, Cromer became famous for its' crabs.

Last week, I came across this "recycled" crab-boat (about 200 metres from our house and I'd never seen it before).

I can understand what your neighbour was saying however for a Welshman, being called Welsh is fine, British is O.K. (we have a British passport afterall) but being called English is a big NO, NO !!!!

It's 20:45 here and it's just started snowing - I hope it will be gone by the morning as I have a 9:00 meeting.

I found out today that on the 31st of January the main Civil Service union will be on strike - thousands of Government workers around the country will not be in work. I had decided to take the day off so me and Helen could phone DCL at 13:00 our time.
In support of my staff who will be in work I will now have to go into work by 7:00am :sad1: BUT I have said come hell or high water I am leaving at mid-day as I have a VERY important phonecall to make from home. I would make the call from work but I could be waiting for some time on an International call - the taxpayers of the UK would not be impressed.

We would hate for a little thing like work to interfere with important things. <gg>

:lmao: Hormones?!?!? I feel myself going crazy! :lmao: The moving is killing me, but has to be done. :(

How is your new Grandbaby, Cheryl?

That is so neat David! :goodvibes

:goodvibes There have been a few boys born, just to the girls in the family- who can't pass along the "family name". ;) Very King Henry the 8th ;)

:rotfl: Oh my- at least you got it back! :rotfl:

Buddy, I've sent you my info!

Cheryl we both know why Steph got that Disney info in the mail. Seeing how hubby is a big wig with Disney! :rolleyes1

Ok, for all of you artsy people out there, I went to the coolest thing yesterday! My mother has some quilt tops that my great grandmothers made for her years ago. She sent them to a group of ladies who have quilting bee's. I went yesterday and watched them quilt some of the quilts. I learned it wasn't something I could do!! But it was cool to watch them.

Also, did yall see the news (as if it's not plastered all over the place) about the family removed from the plane due to their 3 year old refusing to buckle up? She crawled under the seat and was hitting at her parents. OMG!! My mother would have beat me!! :scared1:

I bet it was cool!!!! I have some quilts (that have never been used) that my Great Aunt made -- she did embrodery on some of the squares. I have a crocheted tablecloth that my Great Grandmother made for my mom & dad's wedding. :goodvibes I use it for all the holidays. ;)

I saw that and thought the same thing! LOL! The parents are going on all the tv programs saying that they were kicked off because their dd was crying --- YEA, whatever!!!!! The plane had already been delayed 15mins for them..... If I was one of the other passangers I would have told them to leave! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Couldn't let that one pass! :rotfl:

Both of my mother's grandmothers pieced tops for her years ago. But they had never been quilted. We are both excited about having them done. I already have a quilt my grandmother did.

LOL I posted on the community board, I would have applauded as they removed them from the plane. Kid's act up, but her actions were way beyond a normal fit.

I will make sure I never call you the dreaded "E" word. Our country is definitely lacking when it comes to geography.:confused3 I made my children learn all the states, their location on a map, and the capitals. It was not required in our school system and we have the top schools in our state. We have the top school district in our state. This was the reason we moved to Schaumburg 35 years ago.

Thanks for giving me a few lessons. I would love to learn more about the United Kingdom. Hopefully we get to chat on the Panama Canal cruise or even in September.

I just laughed so hard when I read this.:rotfl2: :rotfl2: This is the truth. I am in a panic I will not get in. John wants your job.  I asked him to call from work and I will try from home. Sounds like your country will be shut down and you will be on the phone. I love it.:flower3:

:lmao: Hormones?!?!? I feel myself going crazy! :lmao: The moving is killing me, but has to be done. :(

How is your new Grandbaby, Cheryl?

The good thing is you will start a new life in your new house. :woohoo:

Just think of what you have to look forward to later in life.
You think hormones are bad now:mad:, ask John what I was like during menopause.:crazy2:
He said it rhymes with witch. That is so hard to believe.:rolleyes1

My grandaughter is great. I just bought her 10 outfits!!! She is a princess: .
She wants to be just like me.:woohoo: She wants my lipstick, eye make-up and now even my perfume.:sad2:

Almost forgot to mention a great sale at J C Penney. They have childrens clothes that were $40 and $50 dollars for $1.79.:cloud9: I saw the mark downs and then it was an additional 40 per cent off. :woohoo: My daughter bought a $75 coat for $8.00. We are going to a different Penneys tomorrow.
:rolleyes1

Cheryl we both know why Steph got that Disney info in the mail. Seeing how hubby is a big wig with Disney! :rolleyes1

I forgot about that.:rotfl2:  We could just get Jon to get our Panama Canal reservations at the first pricing.

Is that right Steph???::rolleyes: :rotfl2:

I laughed so loud just now!!!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

That was funny!!! I am glad we can all joke about it. You now have the last laugh:laughing:

I could never imagine you or I letting our darling children pull that one. Can you imagine what the dd will be like in a few years???:confused3

Where are the pictures of Claire with Butterscotch???? I am waiting. I miss the horse so much at Target. I need to see a picture .:thumbsup2

Question for anyone. Is the muliple quote working for anyone??? I get nothing when I hit it.

I thught we should all be aware of this post. Cheryl

Historically we have handled these issues with warnings, bannings and not much in between.

This has resulted in several recurring complaints from users. The first is penalties were applied in an inconsistent manner. Another common complaint is that people were not properly notified.
We have put a new system in place that we believe will address those issues as well as make the process more open and transparent.

All infractions of board rules will be addressed by a point system. You can see the various infractions and point values by looking at our board guidelines page located here:

http://www.wdwinfo.com/guidelines.htm

The way it works is really pretty simple. If you violate a rule the webmaster or moderator will click a button that assigns the proper point value to the infraction. At that point they must send a private message to the user, it will not allow them give the infraction without it. It will also generate a thread on the host board so we can track infractions.

Please note that private messaging is the official notification method, if you don't check your private messages you will not be notified. If you are banned you will get a pop up box listing the reason when you log in.
The moderator or webmaster has the choice to send a "warning" with no points for some of the minor infractions.

We can't possibly cover every situation with these guidelines. In a case where someone is "playing the system" or something is against board rules but not covered on this list we will still deal with it.

I will start a thread on the tech support board for any questions you may have on this process

We hope that by opening up this process we can create a better, friendlier atmosphere on the DIS and make the largest Disney discussion forum an even better place to be!
