Actually, only with preexisting medical conditions, does the insurance need to be purchased within 10 days of booking.

I was told that the Disney insurance is refundable , but looking at one of their brochures, it isn't as good as the one we bought from travel insured.
I will be doing more research on this during the next few days.

I guess I will have to investigate a little. I just assumed Dinsey would have the best insurance.:confused3 I bought it twice before but glad I never had to use it.:woohoo:

I think we should just keep taliking on this thread! LOL!
I wouldn't want to talk on that one ...yet....I know with the 10nt most of the people that were very active on this thread for the first several months ended up not going on the cruise........

I think you are right. The 10 Day I booked out a year ahead but never changed my mind. I just wish they would come out with prices for each cat. Did they price yet??? Maybe I missed a thread?

I didn't remember if this was in the email I got yesterday or not...... I think our deposit on the 10nt (for a suite) was $750 per person and I expect it to be the same on the 15nt.

I think it is $500 per person for the Repo. The good news is we all have deposits already down.

I will try not to be gone so long next time! LOL!

We were going to do a search for you.:flower3:

Thank you! She calls it her *marshmallow coat & hat* :goodvibes

I love the pictures.:thumbsup2 Can I send the rest of our snow down to you?????:rotfl2:
It seems like your family loves it.

What about Wales ?????
David

I would love to go there. We had neighbors from Whales and we truly loved them. We especially liked their strange sense of humor.:rotfl2:

Obviously our gales made the news in the USA ???

Our only loss was a nine foot tree. The gales were so bad they kept me awake most nights. There have been lots of accidents due to fallen trees and damaged property and sadly I believe around the country, nine people were killed.

On my usual road to work on Thursday I noticed a lorry lying in a field that had been blown over. The winds have subsided now but it is still very cold.

As we live on the coast, the salt air means that we very rarely have snow however where we are from in Wales heavy snow was an annual event with nothing moving for a few days each year. I certainly remember the Army digging towns out on more than one occasion when I was younger.

David

We did not know you were near the coast. We saw the huge waves and strong winds. What is a lorry????

Ok I need to vent!!!

I got this really cute scrapbook bag as a gift not long ago. Well the handle broke off into tiny pieces, one side is missing, one side is still up. I can't open the bag all the way anymore. It was a miachels exclusive so I went to return it Not wanting a refund, but store credit for a new bag. After going through 3 people I was told since I did not have a reciept they could not take it back, I was stuck with a broken bag. I left really upset because the third manager handled it very badly. He said they only take returns for 90 days with a reciept. I asked what is it was a gift, he said you HAD to have the reciept.

I can't afford a new scrapbook bag so I will have to see what I can do to make this one work!!! Anyone know how to get half a handle back down into a bag or out?

Sorry needed to vent. I am very upset!

And my day only got worse!!!

Oh and Matt was the one who broke the bag!

Sorry to here all the problems Jill. I would take Amy's advice. Purchase a new one. Take the broken one back with the new receipt.

I keep buying for my "Scrapbook" but I have not touched it. I have enough supplies to do probably a scrapbook for everone on our last cruise.:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

We booked ours a year out, also. But, we aren't the type to change dates/minds once we make a decision. I learned (from reading these boards) that it seems like at least half of the people that book vacations change their minds or change the dates! LOL!

I love the pictures.:thumbsup2 Can I send the rest of our snow down to you?????:rotfl2:
It seems like your family loves it._______

For some reason the pic of Samantha showed up as a link -- did y'all see it???

They loved it because I gave them a day off of school!!! LOL! And we got to stay home and PLAY. :woohoo: Jon had mentioned to me a few weeks ago that he would like to take the children up to Colorado for a few days in February so that they can see real snow. ;)

Chicago Bears Win!!!!

Miami Here We Come

LOL!!! :rotfl: The only reason anyone at this house knew who won is bcause Katherine's fiance was here today watching the game --- we don't watch football........ Now if it was Stanley Cup time.... :woohoo: :dance3:

I actually cried when Dallas won the Stanley Cup!! LOL!!!!!

Yesterday Claire was on my lap when I was *DISing*. When she saw the pic I have in sig she says *Daddy looks cute in pictures. But, I look cuter in that picture* :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

I am sure she has heard Samantha and I say that we don't want to stand next to him in a photo --- even in a t-shirt, shorts & a ballcap he looks more *put together* then us! LOL!

Tell Claire I think she looks much cuter in pictures.:thumbsup2

Just called Castaway club to be prepared. I will share on this thread but not on the others. The DCL said the price is fixed to go up with demand!!!! :sad2: So she said in 5 minutes it could go up a thousand.:scared: It kind of makes me mad  that people will be making double reservations and then cancelling depending if they like Their TA reservation instead of the one they booked.

I guess it will depend on price if we go. I refuse to pay thousands more for the same room because I could not get through the phone lines the first 5 minutes.

How does everyone feel about the prices going up and up!!!!

Things like that just tee me off!!!! It would never occur to me to double book -- but, I've seen plenty of people posting that they do it all the time! UGH!! :sad2:

Jon and Katherine were talking about the repo yesterday.... She said she has already started thinking what she could do to get 15 days in a row off! LOL!! Jon & I tried (once again) to get her to agree to a DCL wedding!!! Even if it had to be a 3 or 4 day (for the sake of other people in the family). But, she won't since her future IL's think it is a dumb idea. Ask me if I care what they think!!!! LOL!

Anybody else get something in the mail from DCL???? :goodvibes

It's pic of the Magic next to Disneyland. :thumbsup2 The West Coaster.

We did not know you were near the coast. We saw the huge waves and strong winds. What is a lorry????

I think I know the answer to this one!!!! A taxi!!!! :yay: :yay:

I'm sorry but you two have given me the giggles :rotfl2:

Between us we have proved that our two coutries are seperated by a common language !!!!

A lorry (I thought that this was common to you and us) is what you would call (I believe), a truck.

A taxi.......:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Sorry Steph.

David

We did not know you were near the coast. We saw the huge waves and strong winds.

We live on the east coast of the British Isles and from the back of our house, we look over the North Sea. There's absolutely nothing betwen us and the North Pole and we certainly feel the Polar winds this time of year. Holland is about 200 miles east from us.

If it's any consolation, the summer is warm (by UK standards).

If you feel adventerous you could do a search on Google for Cromer Norfolk or take a look at www.thisiscromer.co.uk/gal05.htm. The claim to fame in Cromer is the lifeboat and crabs.

For some reason the pic of Samantha showed up as a link -- did y'all see it???

Alex certainly did !!!! I totally despair.

Okay!!!! I guess we really do not speak English:rotfl2:

I think I need some English lessons.:rolleyes1 I watched The House of Commons on cable. I can't believe how everyone stands up then sits down then stands up over and over again. I just cannot believe how Tony Blair can speak on any subject the political parties ask. I am quite impressed.:thumbsup2

Tell Helen we are all waiting for here to post again.:woohoo:

Dawn! I can't believe it's been that long already! Where did the time go?

I feel for you moving doing your pregnancy! We moved into this house when 15dd was 3 wks (almost 16yrs ago!) luckily we didn't have to sell our other house -- we rented it/sold it to my mom since she was downinsizing - so, I didn't have to hassle with that!

Hi Steph! I know- it is FLYING! Mike is toying with renting ours, I am too hormonal to deal with that though :lmao: Our new baby will be about 3 weeks old when we settle in the new house~ we found out on the 19th he is a boy :cloud9: We have been calling the baby "Mickey" this whole time so far, kinda fitting, eh? ;)

Hi Dawn,
The boys are doing great. How are YOU doing? Not too much longer now. Stephanie passed a pic along to me that you snapped in Antigua. Thanks, much. I spoke to a friend about the EB Repo, but I'm not sure yet. By the time we can make a decision, it might be sold out. If we can't make that, I might consider a Dec. '08 cruise. We'll see.

YAY Chrystal! 19.5 more weeks to go- not that I am counting :lmao:
Maybe you can find another excursion as awesome as the resort in Antigua was :wizard: I wish we could try the repo's but those are just far to long with a baby now. ;)

Now I have a question.Do you have to purchase the insurance at the same time of booking??????? Can you purchase the insurance closer to the trip.??? So many questions and no answers

Cheryl
Hi Cheryl! Love your new siggy picture too :goodvibes I am almost positive you can add insurance on later, I know you can with WDW packages for sure. :)

David

I am sooo glad I made you laugh! :thumbsup2 I would have *googled* the word BUT, one of my children said *It's a taxi!* :rotfl:

No pictures, no e-mails,and no faxes. Now I know DCL does not like me.:sad2:

How weird!!! Maybe you will get it today! Dose Castaway Club have your email? I don't get alot of email from them BUT, I do get some every couple of months or so -- I got a Christmas one, etc....

The mailing was a nice size - I unfolded it and taped it to the refrigerator -- it's the only thing onhte refrigerator so it is nice and noticable!!! LOL!
