WOW!!!

I am so disappointed!!! I highly doubt we will be able to do a 14 night cruise.

I told my parents and said they doubt they will go but I still want to see DL, SW, and Universal At least. I can't do that and a 14night cruise.:guilty: :sad2:

Even if we all can't do this cruise I am still up for other vacations -- cruises or the parks! LOL!

Right now I feel like we just have to get through the wedding plans...... I just can't believe how much weddings cost! For a few hours ?????? It's crazy! LOL!

DH said he'd rather go back on a Disney cruise then spend it on a wedding. :rotfl: :rotfl: I know y'all are shocked! LOL!

We won't be either- I am too terrified to try that with 1 yr old! I am due 6/8/07... we'll try when (s)he is 18 months. ;)

I don't think I would want to spend 15 days on a ship with a one year old either! LOL! A shorter cruise would be fine but, I would get real tired of carrying the baby around. :-) And those halls are not wide enough for strollers! ;)

Long time no chat!!

Hope everyone is doing ok. I have been a busy bee for the past few months and haven't had time to slow down to even post.

:::::::::thud::::::::: AMY! I thought maybe you had decided to harm your g-mother in some way and that's why I hadn't heard from you in a while. ;)

MUMPS??? Oh, my!!!!!! That's terrible!

I hope you are all healthy now! And home remodel.....::::::shudder::::::: bt/dt and doing it again next year with the upstairs.... ACK! I must be crazy! LOL!

I hear Ireland is so pretty! Have you been before? DH's parents have gone several times -- they wanted to take up last year for a couple of weeks but, we don't have anyone that can keep the kids (and run them every where!). My mom works fulltime.

Have a reason to come to TX? ;)

DId they ever find your friend in CA?

No, I didn't hurt her. Put I want be traveling with her.

LOL Yup the mumps! I think I have now had all known childhood illness. One of the draw backs of never having my baby shots.

I'm all well now.

I've done the bathroom and tomorrow I'll start going through the back bedroom so they can start on that in a few weeks. I'm turning it into a dinning room.

I've never been to Ireland. It killed me last year being so close and not getting to go. One of these days, I want to do all 3 Ireland, Scotland, and England. But I have to get up the nerve to drive on the wrong side of the road.

You can bet the first chance I get to come to TX, I'll let you know. Yes, Cheryl, you too. :p

Yeah, I'm sad to say that didn't end well at all in CA. They found his remains the first of Dec. They don't know what happened. There really wasn't enough found to determine cause of death.

Welcome back !!

Sounds like you've been having lots of fun !!! :lmao:

I think people with no social skills whatsoever are very amusing - I could watch them for hours. I have a friend with no such skills and originally I was reluctant to be in the same room as him but now I just let him go !!

By the way, Happy New Year !!

David

Happy New Year to you and your family!

You would have had a field day with my grandmother then!! I for one wanted the ground to open up and swallow me.

Well Amy welcome back stranger! We've missed you. I just mentioned to Clayton the other day that you were MIA. BTW--Clayton said tell Sally "hi". Sounds like you had some "quality family time" for the holidays and the cruise. Remember, that which does not kill us makes us stronger:lmao:!

What in the world are you doing getting mumps:sick: ? Well, at least you got all the kiddie sickness out of the way now.

I'm so sorry you didn't get good news about your friend. I just lost a friend to a brain tumor on New Year's Day. He was only 49. Clayton lost a friend he chatted with on the Internet to a car accident a couple of weeks ago. He was in his early twenties. I guess all we can do is pray.

I hope y'all don't have anymore bad weather!!!!

We have had our share this week -- really it's been quite weird!!!!!! I don't reemmber when we have ever had this many really cold days in a row!!! Our *usual* temps for this time of year are in the 50's.... And we are supposed to get more rain/ice tomorrow -- I really hope that doesn't ahppen since we are supposed to go to THE DOODLEBOPS tomorrow at 12:30!

We CAN'T miss that! :goodvibes Samantha (15) is looking just as forward to it as Claire (5) is! LOL!

Yeah, I kept watching the weather reports for Dallas. I know it's been bad for you too. The weather you are expecting tomorrow will be here late Sat. - early Sun. Good luck...I'll keep good thoughts that you don't have any power outages or problems getting to the show. Ours should be snow, rather than ice.

We won't be either- I am too terrified to try that with 1 yr old! I am due 6/8/07... we'll try when (s)he is 18 months. ;)

Hi Crystal! How are Clayton & Carlin? Keep safe and warm in that crazy weather! :goodvibes

Hi Dawn,
The boys are doing great. How are YOU doing? Not too much longer now. Stephanie passed a pic along to me that you snapped in Antigua. Thanks, much. I spoke to a friend about the EB Repo, but I'm not sure yet. By the time we can make a decision, it might be sold out. If we can't make that, I might consider a Dec. '08 cruise. We'll see.

Cheryl, I love the new pic in your signature. I remember seeing you that night in the dress...You and John look wonderful.

Hey Cheryl!
I finally found you. DCL emailed me earlier about the dates. I thought it wouldn't be released til later but when we came back from the Drs, I saw it was already there. We are thinking about putting down the deposit. Does anyone know if you cancel , do you get back the trip insurance?

Now I have a question.Do you have to purchase the insurance at the same time of booking???????:confused3 Can you purchase the insurance closer to the trip.??? So many questions and no answers:rotfl2:

Cheryl

Have fun! LOL!

I really want to go on the repo but, Jon still hasn't commited one way or the other..... He doesn't know what he'll be doing at work a year and a half in advance! LOL! A year in advance ...yes.... 18 months... no..... UGH!!!!!

I really wish they had announced this closer to the end of this summer.... It really would have worked out better for me. :rotfl:

Are you still going to make reservations just in case??? We all would love to be together again.:cloud9: You can always go without Jon. Just kidding Jon. My john would kill me for thinking of going without him but we are empty nesters too!!!!

So do we have to add our names to the other thread???? I guess its too late to start our own.

I sure hate the ice storms. We have now had two. Think it is so much easier to drive in a foot of snow than an ice covered street. Besides I do not bounce as well on ice than I used to. I can break easier as the old bones are getting fragil.

Thanks for the compliment. I will have to post the pictures of you and some of the girls on formal night.

Cheryl

Since I have never added insurance later with Disney, I can't tell you for sure if you have to buy it at the time of booking or not. But I know with others you can purchase insurance at a later date. Also you can wait and purchase it independently(which many do). In some cases the independent insureance can be cheaper and cover more.

My mother has found out able the repo cruise and called me about getting prices for her. So if she and my dad go, it's a no go for me.

You can bet the first chance I get to come to TX, I'll let you know. Yes, Cheryl, you too.

You Better!

Yeah, I'm sad to say that didn't end well at all in CA. They found his remains the first of Dec. They don't know what happened. There really wasn't enough found to determine cause of death.

I am so sorry to hear this. I guess we all got to involved with the holidays to remember if you heard anything.

I've done the bathroom and tomorrow I'll start going through the back bedroom so they can start on that in a few weeks. I'm turning it into a dinning room.

Good luck! LOL! We are hoping to do our two upstairs bathrooms this year (master & the kdis) plus new flooring through out the uptairs (4 bdrms/2bath). Have Imentioned that I'm a packrat and have bookcases lining the upstairs hallway?????

I've never been to Ireland. It killed me last year being so close and not getting to go. One of these days, I want to do all 3 Ireland, Scotland, and England. But I have to get up the nerve to drive on the wrong side of the road. .

I bet! Jon said it would be fine the first 2 wks (because you would be thinking the whole time *stay on the correct side of the road) and then after that you would start to relax and BAM! You're on the wrong side!

You can bet the first chance I get to come to TX, I'll let you know. Yes, Cheryl, you too. :p.

Good. :-) Have I emailed you all of my info????

I am so sorry to hear that. It must have been very hard. It's a shame real life isn't like tv -- on tv they can have one little piece of bone and tell you when & how they died.

Keep the good thoughts coming!!! It's been grey and raining all day today.... I really hope y'alls is snow and not anymore ice!!!! :goodvibes

Cheryl

Actually, only with preexisting medical conditions, does the insurance need to be purchased within 10 days of booking.

I was told that the Disney insurance is refundable , but looking at one of their brochures, it isn't as good as the one we bought from travel insured.
I will be doing more research on this during the next few days.

You know I want to be there!!! LOL!!!! Jon hasn't said yet how he feels about the trip with/without him..... I'm not sure he would want to be gone from us for over 2wks! I'ld have to get internet on the ship otherwise that long with limited communication would really bug Jon --- he loves to spend his time with us! LOL!

I think we should just keep taliking on this thread! LOL!

I wouldn't want to talk on that one ...yet....I know with the 10nt most of the people that were very active on this thread for the first several months ended up not going on the cruise........

My mother has found out able the repo cruise and called me about getting prices for her. So if she and my dad go, it's a no go for me.

:lmao: :lmao: You could come on it and not tell them. ;) You could hide out with me. :rotfl: :rotfl:

The 15 Night Repositioning Cruises require a $500 per person deposit for categories 4 - 12.

I didn't remember if this was in the email I got yesterday or not...... I think our deposit on the 10nt (for a suite) was $750 per person and I expect it to be the same on the 15nt.
