9/7/06 10 night Wonder Southern Caribbean "Cruising in WONDERland!"

I thought I would post a little piece of information that I haven't mentioned before.... My 8ds would like y'all to know that he goes by Elvis (that is actually his dis name but, he has never posted -- he reads the boards on a regular basis).

It has really been bothering him that i haven't told y'all his name is Elvis. And he goes by this name in many situations -- that is what he will be referred to in the kids club, also.

His favorite vacation spot is Graceland. He knows quite a bit of trivia about *The King*.

This started a couple of years ago and doesn't seem to be letting up.... although it has been a while since the last time he asked me if he could dye his hair black.

I know that I have mentioned that he is 8 going on 40.....

Ok I have a question. I swear that I read somewhere on the Disboards that each person will only get 2 luggage tags and no more for the cruise. Someone on the cruise thread was asking if they could just send a case of water through and i replied that you could not. (i also read that water had to be in a bag.) Someone else posted that I was wrong. So now i am confused. Can you only get 2 luggage tags and does the case of water have to be in a bag or not? I figured all of you knowledgeable cruisers would know.

We called Disney because our airline is letting us check a third bag rather than have a carryon. Disney said they would still only give us two tags and that we would need to go to baggage claim and pick up the third bag...then we could carry it onto the ship. That seems fair...it would just be easier to have the tag so they would collect that one piece with our other luggage.

Are the prices at the hotels reasonable at this time too??? I am considering this for next year. Thirty times at the park and I never saw the decorations.

Prices aren't bad then.Almost as good as Jan/Feb.

I buy a case of water at Walmart before we go to the Port and then just put the individual bottles of water in our suitcases and it works out really well. I use the Vacuum Storage bags so we wind up with a lot of extra room in our bags and the water fits in there nicely.

I am back!!!!! Computer is up and running. You don't understand how excited I am. Best Buy was so good to us. You have to hear about our rotten night though. We took the computer to Best Buy and they instantly worked on it for us. We then went out for dinner. Came home and when Ted opened the back of the Pathfinder the computer actually fell out onto our driveway. The front plate fell off and it bent the cover. Long story short, it is working just fine.

On the PC cruise, we got extra tags from the porter. In fact, he offered them.

It must be done! I was originally planning to cruise in December and bought all my cruise clothes a size smaller, then when we switched to this cruise I only had 4 weeks instead of 4 months to lose weight. Then the following 2 weeks were just not a good time to try, so now we are down to 2 weeks and I need to either lose it or wear my old boring clothes, so I am getting motivated. I have dropped three pounds since Monday so that is a good sign. 14 more days, we can do it!!!
