Wow! I leave for the evening and I have four pages to read by mid-morning!
Whazzapp: Your family is adorable! I can't wait to meet them. Tell Staci she did a wonderful job on the fish extender.
I can't sew a thing! I told my Mom that I would tackle trying to hem a couple of pairs of cruise pants for the boys...she said "Um...yeah, ok. I'll grab them when I see you on Sunday!" Thanks for the vote of confidence, Mom.
I saw Snakes of A Plane last night with the boys and one of Clayton's friends. It was hilarious...if you like those kind of movies! I probably shouldn't admit it, but I love that kind of stuff! I think hanging with the boys and their friends keeps me young. It's just great that they still think it's cool that I go with them to all these things.
Still no docs for me yet....oh well, I'm not worried. Right now I've got to get that box I haven't started packing ready to mail by Tuesday.
Pineapple Beach: I sent a follow up email after Piglett33's question about the taxi rates. No word from them yet. I would like to finalize this on Monday, so I'm waiting for their response.
Sail-away Party: All the festivities are on deck 9, since we will be up on deck 10 it will be perfect to see everthing thing but not be in the middle of all the chaos. We held our meet on deck 10 on my last
DCL cruise and everything was fine...albeit windy as Amlee mentioned. If we move it to an earlier time, we do run the risk of missing some people. It's important that we all try to make it due to last minute stateroom changes/assignments. We won't be able to leave gifts if we don't have the latest info. Those who are worried about missing characters...you will have PLENTY of opportunities to meet and greet over 10 days! You could also had down to deck 9 about 5, after a quick hello to everyone! Some families did that on my last cruise. At least we were able to put faces with names and update cabin lists.
We should be able to find each other pretty easily at the meet, since we all should be either wearing lime green or something identifiable like our "official logo" or DISBoard name on a t-shirt, pin, or something.
I'll be MIA most of tomorrow. It's my birthday and we have a few family things planned. Yep...I'll be 46 instead of 45 for our sailing

. It's OK...you're as young as you feel...right? My mom's is next week. She'll be 75! We celebrate them at the same time since they are less than a week apart.
