I spent a frustrating day trying to confirm transport arrangements with the Grand Pineapple Beach. I've spent $10.00 in international cell phone charges and we are still not finished. I hope to have info to post tomorrow.

No doc dance yet for me either.

I'm not planning to ship my box until next week. Am I waiting too late?

Passporter Tips says the box must arrive at least two days prior to boarding. I think you'll be fine if you send it tomorrow or at the latest by Monday. Give it some extra time just to be safe.

I STILL haven't heard back via email from Pineapple Beach. Would you ask them about my reservation? I've gotten nowhere with those guys.

I did book the SilverMoon in Barbados. At least that is done.

I've got a friend who has an American wife and their children have dual nationality so they use their UK passport coming to the UK and their USA passport going to the States - saves them hours apparently!!

Sorry I did not clarify. Mickey is the favorite of DH, and all 3 DS. My favorite and my DMIL is Minnie.HTH.

I did not see it on the 1st page list, but my DS8 will have his birthday on 9/16/06 when we are at CC. I am sure this will be very exciting for him.

Good luck with Pineapple Beach- I know when I finally heard back from them it wasn't as issue, I don't have a ressie number- I have an email saying we have ressies-

We went ahead and also booked Coral World at 11:30, The St Lucia Beach Getaway at 12:40 and Ocean Park and Swim at 11:40.
Registered the girls for the Oceaneers Club, no ressies Palo yet b/c we don't want to miss a night at Animator's Palate with the girls.

No docs here either~ Hoping for today though

Finally got a response on our transportation!

The hotel can arrange for us to have private minibus transports from the pier to hotel for $15 p/person R/T. That seems reasonable. I need to provide them with the count and pickup and departure times. These are the families I have who would like to be included in the count: Let me know if the count is wrong, you prefer to do transportation on your own, or if I missed anyone who would like to be included.

Do you all have "A" passes? DCL confirmed all-ashore for Antigua is 8:00 a.m. and all-aboard is 8:30 p.m. Since many of us have early dinner, let's say 8:30 a.m. pick up and 4:00 p.m. departure?

FYI-DCL also said they will not have confirmation on the movies for our cruise until about 10 days prior to departure. The movies we were told about were for the CURRENT cruises, not necessarily what we will have on the 7th.

I became real excited today when I started to do the DOC Dance!!

Crystal - thanks so much for handling the transportation for us. Yes please include my family in the group. We currently are booked for "B" passes but will switch to "A". Pickup and drop off times you listed are fine with me.

I found the website - great job on that by the way. No one is listed on the excursion list for the Cruise to the Pitons on St. Lucia. Is anyone else planning on doing this? I would love to know if there will be any other children. This is one of only two DCL excursions we will be doing.

We have booked this trip as well. OUr dd, who is 4, is coming.

Our other DCL excusion with dd is the submarine excursion in Barbados. She could not believe me at first when I told her that we would be going on a submarine. She didn't think submarines really existed. She kept asking me: "How? How is that possible?"

We also arranged a kayaking and snorkeling excursion with an eco-tour company in St. Thomas. We love to snorkel but DCL doesn't allow children under 5 on their snorkeling trips. This company seems very family friendly.

Does anyone know anything about the Pirate Extravaganza in St. Lucia? I was planning on doing this when we were booked for the December cruise, but since I recently switched to this one of course that excursion is sold out. I am hoping there will be availability when we board. It is on the Brig Unicorn which is the ship used for the Black Pearl, but I know that the Black Pearl is currently in LA. I guess it will be back in St. Lucia by cruise time?

The only thing I have booked at this point is the St. John Island Tour. We are planning to grab a taxi to take us around Antigua for the day because we want to visit more places than any of the excursions take you, plus it will cost less. Haven't decided which excursion for Barbados, some kind of island tour and I have it narrowed down to three different ones.

Steph, thanks for arranging the lunch, I am really looking forward to that! And the wine tasting in your suite, that is going to be so great! I have my wine all ready to go packed away amidst bubble wrap and plastic water and soda bottles in my soft cooler. I am actually more worried about the soda than the wine, but it is all inside of a Steel Sack trash bag, so here's hoping for the best.

Okay...so not only did Lisa get her docs already...she got more today... she now has 8 luggage tags...but they said she can only use 2 per person, lol...darn!

My documents were sent out on the 17th...3 day select...so I don't expect them til Tuesday,....darn
