Thanks for the scoop on the fish extenders! Cool! :thumbsup2

And GOOD LUCK with the oral surgery Queen. My dentist has encouraged me to have my impacted wisdom teeth removed for years...but I'm a big chicken. I just can't bring myself to have it done, especially when they are not bothering me...yet. I'm sure I'll regret this decision some day. Anyway, best wishes for a speedy and painless recovery! :cheer2:

Two months! Two months! :woohoo:

Great idea, :thumbsup2 so how did you make it? I would love one but don't even know where to start looking. :confused3 I am not an excellent seamstress but I can sew. Any hints?

I used scrap material and I could explain but Both DH and I can not figure out how to post a picture. :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 One pocket is great. I had lots of messages of guest service last cruise because we made friends with a girl from Italy. In fact the last day of our cruise she ended up dating an officer from DCL that helped us find a missing camera bag. It was on The Magic so guess I will not find out if they are still together???? My typing is bad to I make lots of errors :rotfl2: I think a lot faster than I type.

Hi all... I see that some cruisers still dont' know what a fish extender looks like... so I'm reposting the picture.

And it does not have to have so many pockets... but the PRE-made ones usually have 5 pockets... you could custom make your own with just 2 or 3 or however many pockets you want.

Also, remember that they occasionally tend to "swim away" so I am bringing "clubs" to keep them in place. I'll bring enough to share with everyone that wants one... but you will need something like nail clippers to remove the "club" at the end of the cruise.

Thanks for bring the clubs. Now I just have to remember the nail clippers. By the way< I love the ears!!!!!!!!

Tomorrow morning is the big "yanking of teeth" day for me! Thanks to all who offered advice, stories, and prayers!

Hooked - I'm a big chicken too, but I'll go first and hopefully will let you know how easy and painless it is when I'm finished :teeth:

Fish Extenders - I'll have to keep my eye out for one on ebay since sewing needles and I don't mix well!

Hi Guys!!! Remind me.....what do you do with the "Fish" extenders? :confused3 Thanks ...Steve

The fish extender hangs from your stateroom door fish that usually holds notes from DCL... DISer friends leave goodies for you in the extender... the "extender" also makes it easier to find your room...

micmse Cheryl... I sent you a PM.

I was thinking the same thing! LOL! I told dh the only reason I was wanting to lose some weight this summer was so, that my clothes still fit at the end of the cruise! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Can we pay our tips at the end of the cruise with plastic, or do we need cash?

Yes you can pay tips with credit card. I think you can go to guest services to arrange this.

Steve

Yes, you can pay with plastic, and you do have to go to guest services to do so. Thats how we usually pay. I would advise doing this a day or two before the last day, otherwise the line at GS tends to get long.

Welcome to all the newcomers!!!

poohpunkin - If you are going on the September 7-17th Wonder cruise than you are posting in the right place, welcome!!!!!

Thanks! Yes, we are going on the September 7 Southern Wonder cruise. I am seriously computer challenged, but am slowly picking up how this board works. I am really amazed at how friendly and helpful everyone is! I didn't think it was possible to be more excited about the cruise than I was when I booked it, but reading all these posts/messges/threads is getting me even more excited.

I'm so happy to have found this thread, it has answered so many of my questions. If you will indulge me in one more answer I would greatly appreciate it. :teeth:

When I tried to make reservations for Palo brunch or tea, after already making dining reservations online (on June 24) it wouldn't allow me to do it. Does this mean that all reservations were taken, or that I'm only allowed one reservation. :confused3 Thanks for any help!

poohluv2u, it possibly could be booked up BUT the good news is that they leave openings for people to make when you board the ship. I would keep trying AND/OR call DCL, though. You can only make one ressie each for brunch, tea and dinner. Many people are having trouble with tea, though. DCL actually called DisneyDudette2 and she made the tea ressies that way.

poohpunkin, don't worry. I am computer illiterate as well. Can't do anything fancy here but at least I can post and read. My dd, PoohFriend (Heidi, LYMI) helps me a lot.

:thanks: JiminyC, I will call DCL and see if I can get ressies that way.
