What the deminsions of your Fish extender
My fish extender is 25 by 8. If someone could tell me how to post a picture, I'll put it on here.
Are we still having lunch at Triton's? Parrot Cay is the buffet with themes
I love eating at Triton's for lunch. I would prefer to go there, but whatever everyone else wants to do is fine with me.
Yep...lost EVERYTHING in the frig and freezer
Ugh what a bummer. I remeber going through that 2 years ago when hit with double hurricanes! We finally bought a generator last year, just so we could keep our fridge and freezer running.

I can't imagine the cost of losing everything in my refrig/freezer and the freezer. Yikes. Sorry!!

What the deminsions of your Fish extender?

I know the dimensions of the fish extenders that everyone is getting off the internet. It says 27" long, 7plus" wide, 5 pockets that are 5" deep.

Thanks for all the good wishes regarding the HFM kids… DH says his mouth blisters are all gone… only lasted one day, and he feels fine.

Regarding the parents that brought the original HFM to the Playhouse… they were told by their doctor to keep the child home for a few days… they kept him home 4 days. They brought him after his mouth blisters were all gone. What the doctor didn’t tell them was that he was contagious the whole week BEFORE he broke out!.. so all the children were already exposed to the HFM.

8 of the 14 kids have HFM. Some have had severe blistering of their mouths and feet. Others not so many blisters as rash all over their body. Are there any doctors out there… Does anyone know if kids can get this twice? The original child seems to have come down with it again… he broke out yesterday and today it is worse. There seems to be a slight difference to his symptoms, he is also itching! I’m wondering if this is something new or perhaps the virus has mutated! Any suggestions? I’m starting to get freaked OUT! :scared:

Are we still having lunch at Triton's? :confused3 Parrot Cay is the buffet with themes. Tritons is strictly by menu and servers. We only made lunch twice last cruise too. Either swimming or busy but I did managed to gain weight!!!! :rotfl:

Tritons is fine.
You can go ahead and laugh but, I don't want to miss the chance to eat Italian buffet or Mexican buffet. :rolleyes1 Which is why I've been concerned about which one had the buffet. :)

I am finally recovering from the valium I took this morning. I am still a bit light headed but not nearly as loopy as I was. Please excuse any typos. I keep having to backspace and retype.
The surgery went fine. I had Laser surgery to close the vein that wasn't working correctly(formerly done by stripping the vein). I have to wear a compression stocking and elastic bandage for the next 2 weeks. It could be worse. The bee sting feeling was pretty bad but I survived that. I just have a dull ache the length of my thigh but it is bearable. I'm glad it is over.

Crystal: I'm glad you have electricity back. A/C is a wonderful thing :goodvibes Sorry about the freezer and refrig. Like Dena, we spent the last 2 year with hurricanes and finally bought a generator this year. No power is a pain.

Sandy: Good luck with the HFM. I was in daycare for 2 1/2 years and understand the pleasure and pain of dealing with children. It sure gives you experience with dealing with adults! ;)

I haven't gotten a fish extender yet or made one. I may run out of time for it.

On that subject, we are missing a lot of room #'s yet for the roster. This will make it hard to visit all the rooms. I understand in the case of guarantee rooms, but if anyone else has a room # that isn't listed and wants to participate in the fish extender fun, please PM Stephanie. Thanks. :thumbsup2

My good wishes go out to everyone who needs them and again thank you all for your support. :thanks:

Carol

Sandy - yes, kids can get this more than once. The best way to get rid of it is lots of handwashing for both adults and the kids. Use bleach that has chlorine with it to clean everything. It is spread through saliva and discharge from the nose. From what I remember at the daycare and the breakouts is that it is fairly common in the summertime for outbreaks. Hang in there and buy buckets of bleach.

2 yrs ago was when we bought our generator -- for the extra refrigerator & the deep freezer. We put all the food we can into one refrigerator (we have one in the house & one in the garage).

We have tornados and hail storms that knock out electricity. We lost power for a week in June 2004.

Steph and Carol, What a great idea about getting a generator. When we retire down in Florida(5 more years) that will be our first purchase. Last year I lost power and lost everything from freezer and refrigerator. The best part was I just purchased 24 fudge bars for DH. Was that a mess. My electric company paid for part of my destroyed food. It was our third outage in less than a week but the third lasted 18 hours in one hundred degree heat. I am so glad Crystal has power especially the A/C.

Where ever we eat is fine with me. I never took the time to eat sitdown on our last 7 day cruise.

Carol****glad everything went great. I have no excuse with my spelling or typing. I am just not good at it.

I was thinking the same thing. I would hate for someone to feel left out if they didn't get goodies. Poor Carol. Glad you checked in.

We have a 36' 5th wheel that we could use gas for the refrig but it certainly wouldn't hold everything from the house. I think a generator for all you people is the right idea!! :thumbsup2

I'm glad we are sticking with Trition's for lunch. It's really nice and they allow shorts at lunch. Parrot Cay is good too, but it is a buffet...a bit nicer than Topsiders.

As for generators, I know a bunch of folks who ran out and bought them. We really don't lose power that often for an extended period of time. I have a new fridge, which was holding the cold quite well for the first two days. I think I'll hold off purchasing one for now. If I lived in FL...that would be a different story!

Carol, I am so glad that your procedure went well!

Room Numbers -- as soon as y'all find out your room numbers let me know so that we can add the information to the roster!

Sandy, I hope your dh is home soon!

Good morning. Went shopping last night for Vegas, it should be a fun trip!!!! But I am being so bad and wishing away the Vegas trip so I can get on the cruise sooner!!

I moved to Fl a year ago and my family bought DH and I a generator as a going away present. Thankfully we havent had to take it out of the box yet (but I guess we probaby should so we know how to use it - just in case)

I have had a very very busy month but am now starting to get busy with all the stuff for the cruise. I need to get a fish extender.

My family is going to Ft Lauderdale this weekend to Miami Dolphins Training Camp. DH is a huge Miami fan and has always wanted to do this. Also we will celebrate our 14 year anniversary (not officially til 8/1).

Please PM me if you need to change information or if you need to add or subtract information!!!

DO I need to add or subtract anyone??? Do you want your stateroom Cat or # added? At one time we had talked about doing a stateroom tour of the different Catagories.

I have tried to keep the list updated. I know there are LOTS of lookers on this thread ---- Please talk now. We want to get to know you! :wave2:  :wave2:

I'm going to try to keep this post within 5 pgs of the end -- did that make sense? I know there is a link to it on the first post but, I don't think everyone is reading that post.

:thanks: to everyone for your support... :disrocks:

AND... my DSinL Steve will be leaving Iraq tomorrow! How exciting is that?! I'll tell you, we couldn't be happier! This is turning out to be a GREAT week! :worship: Thank GOD it is almost over.

Sandy I am so happy everything is going well. You deserve a nice long cruise. Only SIX WEEKS from tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went back two pages and now feel really guilty  for not reading more frequently but now I am going to be one of those late posters and try to post more regularly. I did see that the Three Disney Dudettes :dance3: along with our cabin number is listed so I do feel the love :grouphug:

I am getting very, very excited  :Pinkbounc :cheer2: I REALLY need a vacation (like we all do). Someone is going to have to catch-me-up with what is going on as far as onboard activities, meetings, etc. I must confess I have been picking up a FEW things for the cruise.

I hope everyone is recovering. All sicknesses, surgeries, etc. have to be gone before we arrive for the cruise.

Hope you all have a Whimsical Wednesday. I am off for my 12 hour shifts Thursday and Friday but will try to peek in :surfweb: when I get home at night. Toodles  JEANNE alias Disney Dudette Two
