I have started throwing things in a bin that I keep in our extra bedroom. That way as I remember things I can just throw it in. Hopefully I won't forget anything.

I don't know what the Around the World wine tour is. Sorry.

My works want me to attend a conference in Houston from Sept 18-22nd. Problem is I took the day off on Sept 18 to recover and do laundry from the cruise but they still want me to fly there and attend from Sept 19th-22nd!!!! Looks like I will be away from my desk starting September 1st-22nd....my coworkers are going to love me!!!

BTW--I've been meaning to ask....what is the "Around the Globe Wine Tour"? I saw this on the 10-Night website. Did I miss a page about this?

I haven't heard of this. Does anyone have any info on it? My DH loves wine so I know this is something that he would be interested in.

I'm away from 22-Aug to 21-Sept - my staff are very happy !! :rotfl2:

I was so organized last cruise that I did not for get a thing. :thumbsup2 I know this time I will forget lots. :rolleyes1
Do you think we will hit two thousand posts by the time we cruise. :woohoo:
I hope it will get cooler here so I can start packing. We do not have central A/C and it is going to be in the mid 90's all week. I hate cold weather but the upstairs does get a little warm. My husband thinks I am crazy. I am just always cold. I walk around the ship with a jacket on the whole cruise. :rotfl2:

Sandy's playhouse: Glad your DH is back and everyone is finally healthy! Also great news on your DSIL.

Stephanie:I know you will have a wonderful time at the wedding, although the car trip may be a bit trying. :goodvibes

I just got back from the Dr.'s. I had my follow up ultra sound. The upper part of my leg where they did the procedure is looking very good. That's the good news. The bad news is there are a couple of very small blood clots in the lower leg. Not big enough for me to be hospitalized but still not good. I am back on Coumadin(blood thinner) and will have another ultrasound of my leg on Monday. Let's all hope and pray that they are dissolved by then. :guilty:
I also developed an allergic reaction to the adhesive so I have a 1 inch blister on my leg. I am taking care of that also.

Everything will pass and be just great for the cruise! I have been throwing things in my spare bedroom that are to be packed so hopefully everything will be in one place and I won't forget anything. I completed the online check in so I'm ready to go in that sense.

David: Can't wait to see Bethan in her Wales National costume. That should be awesome.

Later,
Carol

Carol... pixiedust: and prayers for your clots to disolve real quick.

Can't wait to see Bethan's National costume...
Isn't ours a pair of Jeans and a t-shirt?
Sandy

Carol - sending prayers and pixie dust your way.

I know I will forget a few things I am sure!!!

Carol: Sorry to hear. Hope all goes well on Monday, sending thoughts and prayers your way. :grouphug:

I dont know what around the world wine tour is, but DH and I would love to participate! :drinking1

I dont know what it is like to have a spare room to "throw" things into. ;) I guess 20 years from now when all the kids have grown and moved away and my parents are no longer around, then I will have 4 spare rooms to do what I want with!!! :cheer2:

Sandy, I think you are right... jeans and a t-shirt but possibly with an American flag on one or both. :yay:

Thanks all for the well wishes. I am trying to keep a positive attitude as is my family. :sunny:

It certainly helps to have a Disney Cruise to look forward to! :woohoo:

Carol

Hang is there Carol! I'm sure all will be well.

Didn't you all notice the wine tour on the website Wan created? I thought I just missed something (as usual for me;) ).

Sounds interesting....I'd like to learn more about it.

You cruisers are a talkative bunch. I had to read three pages to find my last posting from yesterday and catch-up on all the chatter. :surfweb:

Our nurses union was in negotiations with the hospital and I thought maybe we would go on strike. We have been without a contract since June and we even picketed the hospital on Tuesday since the hospital refused to negotiate even with a state mediator but things are looking good ;). There is now a contract on the table and we vote to ratify or reject next Thursday. I have to vote to RATIFY. I need that money$$$$$$ for the cruise!!!!!!!!!!

Hope you all have a Fun-filled Friday and a Wickedly Wonderful Weekend. I am off to work tomorrow and my daughter-in-laws surprise baby shower is Saturday and I still have lots to do. Toodles  JEANNE

Must be the time of the year for meetings. We are going to be away at a meeting Aug 4-10th. Carolyn says we can not start packing for the cruise until we return from the meeting. I hope everyone has a safe trip. Alex

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHELBY. CAN'T WAIT TO MEET YOU!!

Jeanne, a surprise shower? How much fun will that be!!!
