9/6/10 labor day

morning all

well I was going to finish the cleaning but apparently L really wants to go to the tractor pulls. While I really want to do something fun I could have not only finished the bedroom but the stairs and the WHOLE house would have been done. Oh well a fun day out with the boys.

guess I'd better get a move on.

Good morning! oh, how I love an extra day off!! My list is pretty simple today:

1. Up
2. Caffeinate
3. Get everyone ready
4. Dunkin Donuts for breakfast--last hurrah, big diet/exercise starts tomorrow
5. Go see Blythe
6. Go to UT to take pics of D
7. Come home
8. Laundry
9. Get ready for week
10. Scrap while guys go to store!!

No plans for the day. Morgan spent the night at my sister's house and is walking downtown with them for breakfast at the "crepe cafe." I would like to go out to breakfast with DH, but I don't really want to get dressed...

Had a fun night with TB and family - it was wonderful to catch up with each other and the kids had a ball playing together.

Walk the dog, put our new Disney pins up on our board, BBQ out again tonight, and enjoy the day. Tomorrow will be a busy one, so I'm determined to relax today!

Was up really late cropping with Rachel last night. Hope to finish the 4x4 rolodex swap today. Then get started on the trip book for DH and my trip to Branson

Well I wanted to go meet my bff for coffee and a pumpkin muffin but dh took my car out this morning and said my lights on the dash are all lit up. So somethings wrong with the hollvo. He said to not drive it until I can get it to the shop first thing this week. So I'm house bound now for the day.
I guess i will try to cut the rest of my abc pages. And I need to find my Rolodex punch so I k ow where that is for my next project. Oh I need to do Card candy too.
I better get crackin'!!

I have finished laundry!!!
DH is staining and finishing J's shelving unit for my dining room (no longer in the entry way... I liked it better elsewhere)....
DD is out and about w/ her friends... think they are meeting another group of friends for shopping, lunch and movies!! (I think she needs to get a job soon! LOL)
The boys are up watching the free DISNEY movies on U-verse! (they have only seen them a hundred times and own 99% of them).

Today:

finish 4 x 4 monthly rolodex swap items.. LOVE my January.... Working on April.... April is working on me.... like it; don't like it.. like it... don't like it.. like it.......
sit down and go thru "honey do list".. DH can not move ahead until the task before is done.. he gets bored and wants to move on and then complains that he has several projects going at once.. There is a way to prevent this... Wife takes over the honey do check off list!
Write checks for team photos for HS tomorrow
enjoy the day and add to the list as needed



SIOH ~ send me some of Big D's photos from UT in an email!!!!! I love the photos we have of our kids from where DH and I went to school... I went to the real school here in the state he went to a school! LOL

Hangin' out - had a *great* time with PBF family last night. Shrimp, sangria, steaks...hmmm it was a good night. Now I want to go and a DLC!!!!

Hey MM2000 - I have all of your t's. Don't know how soon you need them (pretty soon I would think) - let's plan on meet up...Perhaps PO3 can come too..

I had to work this morning. We're still unpacking and stocking items from last Wednesday's truck! It was HUGE! The store was nice and busy when I left!

DH went grocery shopping for me while I was at work so I just need to get some laundry done. That's all that's planned for the day.

I fell off the no shopping wagon--went to JoAnn's to get tiny letters for the 4x4 rolodex and walked right into a giant sale All paper (except Disney & other licensed) 4/$1 (got tons ); cricut carts $39.99 (got Hannah Montana); most stickers 25% off. Yikes-- I spent over $100 No more scrap shopping for the rest of the month DH was pleased with the bargains I found
