Well, I can tell you what we did? On Saturday, we had early dining (5:30?). We had gotten sopping wet on the muster drill (and I mean soaked), so we all had to change. I think most people wore what they arrived in or 'duded up' just a tad. Think skirts, dressier shorts, dress pants, lots of capris, etc. On Sun was our formal. On Monday we were at Animators (I think I wore a denim skirt, dd's~ a casual skirt/capris...while the guys wore nicer shorts, polos or pants. My son (24) wore nice shorts or jeans with a dry fit polo on the regular nights and did NOT look out of place. You really did notice a lot of differing ideas.
We liked to think of dinner every night as if we were headed to a nice restaurant in town. On pirate night, again, everyone was either costumed, maybe a tad of a costume, or dressed regularly. We also dressed so that we would be comfortable for the show afterward.
There were some folks that did come to dinner in very very casual t'shirts and shorts but no one says anything. For our family, it just made the experience
feel like we were all 'headed out on a date'. If you know what I mean.
Lots of cute summer shirts/skirts/capris/dresses for the young ladies, and lots of nice t's/polos/shorts/pants for guys. And of course, every once in a while, you'd see someone come to dinner that should have probably brushed their hair, added some deodorant, or done something different. And alot of little girls dressed darling in their princess outfits.
And in the mornings? Almost anything goes...people are heading out for excursions, working out, headed to pool, coming very casual...so no worries there!
Hope this helps!

The fish extender sounds like fun I signed up I think since I'm new to this where can I check if I got added to the fun list?

Aggiegirl has made it all really simple and put it on page 5, post 62 of this thread. Just click her links to see if you added yourself to her lists. Hope this helps. If not, Aggiegirl will help you when she gets back on here!
We loved our FE last cruise, it's a lot of fun!:goodvibes

I was checking out the DISNEY CRUISE DVD and I was wondering about Cove Cafe. Are the coffees/lattes included in the trip or is there a charge???

The Cove is one of my FAVORITE places :cool2: But yes, be prepared to pay for the coffees in there. However, they have some nice little snacks that are free. And you don't have to buy something to go in there.

 Good morning cruisers! Can't believe next month, I can pay in full (well, could've done that anytime:rotfl2:) and start booking excursions on the 30th! Whoo hoo!
I've got all my 'chores' done except for transportation from HOU airport to Galveston. Called Disney to confirm there is NO transfer from there.., but we'll find something.

Everyone getting excited yet?

:dance3::dance3::dance3:

I've been excited since we booked on-board...we were originally going on one in April, so I really can't wait to get back on a ship. It'll have been a week and a year since we last sailed.

:thumbsup2 We were too! Well, actually we booked a dummy off our 10/2011 cruise, moved it to April 26 of this year, and then changed it to this cruise in January! Can't believe we are 4 months, 14 days out! It'll be here before we know it and this chik can't wait!

Hi guys, I'm back. We just drove 13 hours each way to visit relatives in Illinois with my 3 kids under 3. I am BEAT, but so happy to have that trip out of the way so I can focus on the cruise!

Nina88eve and spacejen18, I've got you info added to the FE list and with that I think everything should be updated there. Right now we have 23 cabins and 74 participants for the FE.

Evans Family, so happy to have you join us! Since you're platinum, maybe you could keep us updated on the sold out status of the cabanas. I would LOVE to have a cabana but as a lowly Silver I'm not that hopeful. However, I've heard others have been successful on these Galveston cruises since they tend to have more first time cruisers on them. You never know. It sure would be nice for my young kids to nap inside one.

We payed off our cruise last week with Disney Gift cards from Target. Very exciting! I had a pharmacy rewards certificate that was expiring so I bought a whopping $5K worth of $50 cards for our 2 cabins. The clerk thought we were crazy, but it saved us another $487.50 off the WON rate. Whoo hoo! I doubt I'll ever see a Disney cruise price this low again.

Can anyone tell me the cost of parking at the port? plz

I got a quote of $55 for Lighthouse Parking a couple of weeks ago. We are thinking of staying at the Hilton the night before and then we can park there for free during the cruise.

Go here and put in the ship and date. It will give you all the available options including the official port parking and the private lots.

We used Lighthouse in February. The people were helpful and friendly, and we felt like the lot was secure. The bus was a little old and dirty, but for the 10 minutes we were on it, it didn't really matter much.

Just booked our very first cruise! It will be me DH, and DDs 8,4 and 4. I have been doing my research and getting great ideas from the boards!

A little FYI for you newbies....I got my "Custom Pre Cruise Booklet" today in my email. I didn't remember that from 2011..maybe DCL had that, but I never noticed. Great info in there...packing list, itinerary, travel info all arranged for you! Makes that pixiedust: seem real!
To get yours, go to "My reservation" page on your DCL account, and it's one of the last boxes. It's great for little ones to look at (it's fun for big ones too, wink, wink)...

Getting excited!:dance3:

Booked our first cruise today! We were suppose to go on a Cruise/WDW trip for my DD birthday earlier in September but those plans fell through. So now we will be celebrating her birthday just a couple weeks late. It will be the first cruise for all of us! Me, DH, DD 12 and my mom! I have been researching for over a year but still have lots of questions.

:welcome: This is our second, and we fell in LOVE with DCL after our first! My dd was 11 and loved every minute of it last go 'round. Ask away...lots of veterans on here!:)

Hello everyone :wave2: We just changed to this cruise due to work conflicts. I'm very happy to be on the first sailing of the Wonder from Galveston. :cool1: We managed to sail on the Magic while she was here (so sad to see her leave this Sat  ) and just loved being able to drive down and be on a DCL ship so close to home. :goodvibes This will be our 7th Disney cruise, but the first on the Wonder.

:welcome: And glad to have another Texan to help give us 'non' Texans advice and helps..:goodvibes

Since you've been on 7 ...can I ask if you've ever done Atlantis Aquaventure? And if so, did you go with Disney? Thanks...just researching and want to be wise...

Thanks for the welcome :) and, no, we haven't done the excursion to Atlantis. We've been to Nassau once and did a walking tour recommended in the Passporter guide on our own. I probably wouldn't recommend that though :rolleyes1 as we got into some areas where we didn't feel comfortable.

We don't have kids, but I would say that 75% of the people leaving the ship with children were heading to Atlantis! :thumbsup2

I think we are going to stay on the ship in Nassau this time unless we just get the urge to go and walk about.
