Hi everyone. I've been MIA for a while. There have been a lot of changes going on here at home - nothing really bad but just has kept me super busy all summer. And sadly I haven't been able to gather anything for the FE. For anyone in my group I am so sorry and please just distribute whatever you had planned to some of the other families. I'm really ready for this vacation and can't wait to get through the next 2 weeks.

I am so sorry you have had a hard summer. You know we are here for you if you ever need us Dont worry at all about the FE gifts. I am just glad you are still able to make it. The trip will make you forget what all happened this summer. You will be stress free and having the time of you life with some really COOL PEOPLE!! Got me? Make a mental note of it k?

2 weeks from right now....I am sitting on a flight heading to Orlando International Airport.....I'm getting misty-eyed thinking about it.
(forwarning for all of you: I am a sap...I cry at everything! I'll be the one in the theater crying during the shows...sorry if you hear me sniffling away!)

Today, I am searching for books to put on my Nook for the cruise!

I am too. Stupid Folgers commercials during Christmas. I HATE IT!! "you're my Christmas present" STOP IT!! <sniff sniff> I am not getting misty-eyed because I think I am still in shock I am going. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop and we cant go. I will sure be crying when I see that ship though!

I guess it is hard when your job, or one of them, is also your hobby - makes it hard to have time off and hard to enjoy sometimes, I'm sure. I guess the flip side is being able to make money off something you enjoy as a hobby. I hope you can feel good about getting it all done soon!!!!

Oh I am very happy about making money off my hobby. I think I would love to do it full time but health insurance keeps me at my full time job LOL If I get all my stuff stitched tonight, I am going to buy some popcorn on the way home from church and watch all the NFL games tomorrow!!! I am watching the WKU/UK game. I love my toppers but I think UK is a bit too much for them.

The one I wanted to wear (I bought it on an amazing mark-down with no where to wear it ... until the cruise, that is) but now it doesn't fit ~ which is a good thing showing I lost weight Now to find another (I wanted to see if I could have it altered but no one in my area does that sort of thing, and I I sewed it, well...)

Did you try to see if your local dry cleaner(s) does alterations? That's where I usually get any of my alterations done when needed.

yay!! I didnt finish my stitching yesterday. I still have one FE and a tablecloth to do. I keep getting people that want to order stuff in like a week! I guess people don't realize that I have to actually make them, and they are not ordered.

GOOD MORNING CRUISERS!!!

The cruise is getting close! I am going to be making sure I have some things washed and ready to go that I don't necessarily have out right now - like a hooded light (t-shirt kind) of jacket for the theater. Hopefully I will get the last touches put on the FEs too.

I have awakened with a severe headache, so we won't be going to church. Mack needs to take a tree down today that will be pretty much an all day job, so I guess it works out well, but I wish I didn't have this headache. I am the allergy Queen, so it's nothing new, but it sure is miserable - medicine is in my system and ice has been on my head, so all should be well soon.

Jen, I'm sorry you didn't get your stitching finished yesterday. I hope you can get to where you want to get early in the day today.

Thanks for the encouragement. Please dont get me wrong. I am not complaining in the least (even though it probably sounds like it doesnt it ) I really enjoy embroidering things, even Pinocchio! I just get so goal focused that my target is to get it done so I can have time to get ready and I am not focusing on the enjoyment. Readjusting my view! hehe

The headache is so focused in my sinuses, so I believe it is allergy related; however, all that reading could certainly do it! I usually get an eye-strain headache the weekend it takes me to grade research papers (they each take about an hour - some a little more, some a little less).

I don't hear what you're saying as complaining. I mean if you have a goal and don't reach it, that can be frustrating. At the same time, we all need some down time to do the things we enjoy doing, even if those things are the same with which we make our living. I just hope you find some true relaxation and joy in your day today - whether through orders or through things you want to do, or through something else entirely!
