9/26/2010 Breezin' to the Bahamas!

OK so I am getting in at 12:50 PM and I need to run to WDW too. Why dont we plan dinner around 5. We can all exchange phone numbers before so we can text or call if we are going to be late or if that time isnt good. My plan is that we wont be able to get off the plane, get the rental car and get to WDW until at least 2. Then dropping off the package (for Jordak when he comes down in October) shouldnt be more than 15 minutes. I was thinking we may spend some time at the boardwalk since we are there and then head out around 3 to get to Port Canaveral, check in and get settled...maybe we wont do Boardwalk LOL

Jen...and everyone else who was planning on joining us for dinner...

Hubby reminded me that our flight had changed and he doesn't think we will be able to get to Cocoa/Cape by dinner time...or at least we may be pushing it and don't want to hold anyone up.

So....we'll just meet you all in the terminal on Sunday!

This is just a reminder for those renting[only if you don't buy their gas program] a car and driving to the port. When getting over to the port and you " TOP OFF" your gas tank before turn in your rental, make sure.....and I repeat.....make sure you get a receipt for the gas. some of[don't remember which ones] car rental want to see it or they will charge you a $ 10.00 sir-charge. If the distance is less than 75 miles, which it is[only 62 miles] .................. JEN , for this reminder will you buy me another Ice cream cone at SCOOPS.

I was wondering, and I hope you don't mind the question -- if you do, just tell me to go away!

BUT, here goes...

I know my kids are going to go nuts when they see Shadow. They're going to want to pet him and give him some love!! But I'm not sure what the correct etiquette is for an assistance dog?? Is that ok? Do they need to leave him alone instead? Will it bother him (or you!!) if the kids want to pet him??

Please be honest with me - I don't want the kids (ok, or myself!! ) to cause you or Shadow any stress on the trip!!

About Shadow. He Loves kids!!

Normally I let "little kids" & other folks in wheelchairs pet him. But when its a ship Full of kids i don't let anyone. Well...........I let Pluto & friends pet him because, dogs don't see a 7 foot "dog", And its His vacation too!!!! He wants to see them!

He works for the "PRAISE" (petting) that i give him. If i let everyone pet him, He wont work for me. (sorry) Also I let one, it draws a crowd (everyone wants a turn).

I'm a trainer of Service dogs.

We have a new tens digit in the countdown!!!!! 49 days!!! I am trying to get ready for the students return to school this week, and all I really want to be doing is packing and working on FEs. I am so excited about seeing friends on this ship, relaxing on the deck, enjoying some great entertainment, and seeing my favorite Disney folks - Donald, Daisy, etc....

So what is everyone doing this fine Sunday morning? We are not able to make it to church this morning, so I have been on Facebook responding to an invitation to cruise with old friends in October and next August. I want to go again so badly - where oh where is my winning lottery ticket??? I am getting ready to run errands and do last minute things to have my classroom ready, but I have my Carolina beach music going and my mind is really in the sand on CC!!!!

Good Morning!!!! YEAY!! Hoping this week brings us our room assignment! LOL! Come on day 45!!

Dakota and I worked on FE things last night. And I'm hoping to go work some more as soon as I step away from the Computer!

Yesterday was a great trip to the mall, and we finally have new luggage! Yeay! I think I have one suitcase dedicated entirely to the FE stuff now! LOL! But, that's good - that means we have room for souveners on the way home! See, there is a silver lining everywhere!

YES they do.I think right now if you become a DVC member the incentive is......a year supply of baby sitting on Sat. night, ...........for give me, I just had to say that. When we where on the Wonder last Sept. the incentive was something like a reduction on the per point cost.I don't know what the incentives will be this year,but it will be something I just know. Maybe another DREAM cruise offer.

Another cruise on the Dream sure sounds good though. I plan on going to the presentation just to get some info and to familiarize myself with the DVC program and maybe next year we'll sign up. I'm really interested in DVC,but just need to convince the hubby to be onboard since we're already RCI members

Went to church (Sunday School actually. I am a teacher of mature ladies, friends of mine for over 25 years!) where I burst into tears after people started talking about portion control and how easy it would be to lose weight if "you would just learn to control your portions!" If only! But I am sick of the meds I take that make me eat out of control! But that will not keep me from putting on a swim suit so cover your eyes or go blind!

Oh, I am doing the FE too! Looking forward to! Last time we cruised we were all together and shared a FE. So now I am working on making another one since we have two staterooms this time around. Lots to do in less than 7wks!
