or Grills looks good...a little bit of everything AND I know they have ice cream. Not right near the hotels but not too far either.

Again...thoughts????

Anyone been there before that could suggest something better?

That's good for me. Victoria ADORES pizza and so does her Aunt Karen. Do they sell ice cream? LOL

Just looked at their menu and it says they have "Chocolate Taco Ice Cream"?????:rotfl:

I'm up for either one...Kelsey's Pizza or Grills!

So glad we can plan this b/c that must mean we're getting CLOSE TO CRUSING!!!!!:cool1:

Me too Jen...menu and the location sound awesome...and it's getting good reviews!

Bill and I are game...we all have to eat right?

Anyone else besides Jen's crew and us?

We aren't sure where we're staying yet, so I'll opt out of this one. If we end up down there, I'll know where you'll be so maybe we can pop in to say hi.

Mornin' mornin' mornin! 49 MORE DAYS!! WOOT WOOT!

Had my phone interview last night. He sounded like a REALLY great guy to work for/with. He said the atmosphere was very laid back and it was one of the offices where you got to wear jeans (FINALLY!!). He said the hours are 8-4 because most IT people eat at their desks and dont really take a lunch (and I thought it was only me!). I told him about the cruise and he said that wouldn't be a problem. I also told him that I just got 3 weeks vacation so I would hate to give that up, and he said "oh we can just write in that you get 3 weeks" I guess he was referring to the offer letter? He said there is insurance but he didnt think it was that good LOL He also said there were like 6 people working there (he said a definite number but it blew out of my head when he said it). We didnt talk salary but I figured I would if he offers the job. When we were ending the conversation he said "I will get with Ed (or someone) and see if he would like to meet or just make you an offer" sounds like I have the job! LOL I am going to ask to see the office if he doesnt offer and tell him I need to think about it over the weekend if he offers today. He said that he wanted to fill the position ASAP so....WOW! Plus it is right down the street from where I am working now. I'm dumbfounded. Thank you Lord! :worship:

Sound like you knocked his socks off! Way to go! I absolutely agree - ask to see where you will be working. Its important to see the environment first hard (and just so you're sure there really IS a place to go to - LOL!)!

Good luck on your decision making!! :goodvibes

Congrats Jen! Sounds like it went great for you!!:thumbsup2

I thought since we are getting closer to the cruise it would be nice to get to know some fun things about each other! We could all ask questions and those who want to answer can answer and ask more!:cutie:

Here are a few fun Disney questions to get started:

1. When was your first visit to WDW and where did you stay?
2. Favorite Quick Service WDW restaurant?
3. Favorite Table Service WDW restaurant?
4. Name 2 TS restaurants you want to try and haven't?
5. Favorite Disney Resort and why?

And for those of you who have cruised DCL before....
1. Favorite place to relax?
2. Favorite Activity on the ship?
3. Best excursion you have done?
4. First time you sailed DCL.

Have fun!

OK I'll go first! :goodvibes:

1. When was your first visit to WDW and where did you stay?
Mom said I was 2 but I dont remember that one. She said she would never be back :rotfl2: We then went to Fort Wilderness camping. I remember parts of that so vividly. I was 8ish and there was this place where there was this guy playing the piano. I fell in LOVE with that guy! Mainly because he was playing the piano. Even to this day I have a thing for guys that play the piano :sigh: Anywho! My sister was very shy but VERY social so she would get me to be friends with them, because I could walk up to anyone and start talking to them, and she would then come in as sister, and be friends. I would move on to someone else  Wait, the question was when and where was my first visit not my first memory. sorry! did you see that rabbit?? P.Leilani I thought you were going to keep the rabbit in his cage!!

2. Favorite Quick Service WDW restaurant?
I havent eaten there before...well not that I remember anyway.

3. Favorite Table Service WDW restaurant?
I havent eaten there before.

4. Name 2 TS restaurants you want to try and haven't?
I havent eaten there before. (wow I am a load of help)

5. Favorite Disney Resort and why?
I havent stayed there before.

And for those of you who have cruised DCL before....
1. Favorite place to relax?
2. Favorite Activity on the ship?
3. Best excursion you have done?
4. First time you sailed DCL.

Nevermind. I withdraw my participation! :rotfl:

I figured I should respond to my own questions! LOL!!

1. When was your first visit to WDW and where did you stay? In 1995 and we stayed at All Star Music
2. Favorite Quick Service WDW restaurant? Cosmic Rays at MK and Sassagoula FloatWorks at POFQ
3. Favorite Table Service WDW restaurant? Wow...too many to choose. I love BOMA, Rose & Crown, Trail's End, and we love Beaches & Cream
4. Name 2 TS restaurants you want to try and haven't? Jiko & The Wave
5. Favorite Disney Resort and why? now this one is way too hard to answer, even though I asked it! LOL! We are DVC members and stay wherever we can get a reservation. I have a goal to stay at each resort at least once and I am almost there!

And for those of you who have cruised DCL before....
1. Favorite place to relax? Rainforest Room and deck 5 at night
2. Favorite Activity on the ship? Love the spa and I love relaxing at the Cove Cafe (and BINGO is fun too when you win!)
3. Best excursion you have done? Rhino Rider in St Maarteen
4. First time you sailed DCL. 2001

Oh how fun! I am seriously thinking about getting some points. Do you plan on going to the parks?

How was the interview for Disney for your son?

Who's the cruisecrasher? I must have missed something. Or are you talking about your other cruise?;)

I think our flight comes in around 2:30 and we are thinking of running over to the Boardwalk for a bit b/c I HAVE to have some vanilla taffy which they sell at the candy store there!:thumbsup2

Other than that we don't have anything else planned.

OK so I am getting in at 12:50 PM and I need to run to WDW too. Why dont we plan dinner around 5. We can all exchange phone numbers before so we can text or call if we are going to be late or if that time isnt good. My plan is that we wont be able to get off the plane, get the rental car and get to WDW until at least 2. Then dropping off the package (for Jordak when he comes down in October) shouldnt be more than 15 minutes. I was thinking we may spend some time at the boardwalk since we are there and then head out around 3 to get to Port Canaveral, check in and get settled...maybe we wont do Boardwalk LOL

Here are a few fun Disney questions to get started:

1. When was your first visit to WDW and where did you stay? 1971, but I have no idea where we stayed only that it wasn't on property.
2. Favorite Quick Service WDW restaurant? Aloha Isle
3. Favorite Table Service WDW restaurant? Really depends on my mood.
4. Name 2 TS restaurants you want to try and haven't? Le Cellier and Victoria and Alberts
5. Favorite Disney Resort and why? We too are DVCers with the goal of staying at all of them. I love Hilton Head!! As to those more centrally located at the World, SSR is home so it is special, but the Poly holds some dear memories, so it ranks up there too.

And for those of you who have cruised DCL before....
1. Favorite place to relax? Oh out by the adult pool or in a deck chair on deck 5 reading a good book.
2. Favorite Activity on the ship? My views on this one are skewed since a member's cruise is all we've done, but meeting Disney legends would be one and the piano bar would be another.
3. Best excursion you have done? I just love CC - don't have to have excursions to be happy.
4. First time you sailed DCL. 2008

Have fun!

Congratulations Don! More points is always a good thing, and I hope they are there soon enough to make it work!!!! Awesome!!!

Thanks MIMI , that will give us 570 pts now, where it will end........who knows. Right now it is a buyers market, if you need any and can afford it, BUY!Got these almost $ 10.00 less[per pt.] than we paid back in 97.
