Cliff and Carol! 39 years! What a great testimony to others! I am glad you will be getting this time together to celebrate! My husband Mack and I will be celebrating our 18 years of marriage on the cruise, but we're a blended family, so we're a little older than that would typically make us - very young at heart though!!!

Does anyone scrapbook? I would love to do something but 1) I am not sure there will be time to do it and 2) I bet it would be hard to bring stuff and 3) I am just not that creative. I look at the blank sheets and think....hmmmm I dunno.

DH and I will be cruising on Sept. 26. Don't have any idea what a meet involves but have been to them at WDW. Are they similar? What about the fish thingies? Where do you get them, where do you put them?

I was wondering if together seating was still available, or if anyone had room at their table for 2 to squeeze in. My sister said how sad it is for me to sit all alone on a cruise especially at Palo, ... I was ok with it till she called me a looser (yes she is my baby sister, such a brat, but I love her)

Anyway, if that option is still open I would like to be considered to join someone, but how do you go about arranging that.

Well thank for considering us. (p.s for the most part we have pretty good table manners)

You are absolutely right about that song! Can't imagine how I could forget it! "Stationed", ahhh! You must be Air Force and at Tinker. My father retired from Navy and then retired from civil service at Tinker, had a nephew in the National Guard, his brother in the Marines, their step-brother in the Navy, sister works at FAA and my brother is civil service at Tinker (like 25 years!). So, Air Force looks like the only one we didn't cover!

Two cuisers in our DH (CLiff) and myself (Carol). Celebrating our 39th anniversary (we're sorta old but young at heart!)!

WELCOME CLIFF & CAROL, and HAPPY 39th,It's nice to see the "younger set" joining us for this cruise. Dw & myself just had our 42 nd [YES FORTY SECOND] this past MAY. And remember , CLIFF as you get older you start to see in a different way, for examble my last birthday I turned 26 years old. Carol that sounds like us, this will be our 4th SEPT cruise and DD always stays at home in Sept.......working on her MBA at PURDUE U. WE two have 2nd dinning....got A table for two. LIFE IS GOOD.

I was looking through a few other threads, on here, and I keep seeing people suggest that you bring "zip ties". Had anyone else heard of bringing or giving them out at the meet.

Anyway, I really was not sure why I needed a zip tie and someone sent me the following, I will share with our group just in case there is someone else in the dark about the zip ties. Or perhaps I was the only one in the zip tie darkness:

If you are participating in the FE with your meet group, the zip tie is great for ensuring your FE doesn't get "removed" without your permission from outside your door. Just remember to bring a pair of scissors to get them undone

Well anyway, thought I would share as a FYI.

On another note, I start my raw food diet today, and needless to say I better be able to get into this swim suit in the next 54 days....I am already needing meat, chips, cookies, Slurpee, soda and cooked food. So wish me luck with the rabbit food for the next 45 days (that is long enough for me)
