I'm so excited, I just can't hide... I have been FE shopping and got found some really cool stuff. I just can not wait.

I am still undecided on my hotel accommodations. I think we will arrive on Sat. Stay near the port, and I think I wanna do one disney park when we get back. My concern is what we will do once we arrive in Florida on Sat to pass the time, and then what hotel and park to do once we return....
:confused3:confused3:confused3

Urgh, I should have used a travel agent. I booked our trip myself, but now in need of someone with some expertise on the pre-and post. If any of you have any suggestions, please feel free to share.

Depending on what time you will arrive near the port, you could do Kennedy Space Center, spend some time at Ron Jon's Surf Shop, or hang out on Cocoa Beach - depending on where you stay, you may just want to take it easy at the hotel/resort.

We are staying at a friend's house! :0) We did stay at the Hyatt Orlando Airport last time and it was very nice and very easy for transportation to the port!

I found our stateroom # finally! :rotfl2: #7619

WOOHOO!!!!! :woohoo: That's a nice one too. You are just down the hall from us! We are 7556 (you probably already know that but I thought I would remind you :rolleyes1 )

I am good with what ever is decided however; I have a question. I already bought for the entire list. I am assuming it will be OK for me to drop items into all FE's....correct? I must deliver to all the kids!!!

I am going to do one for everyone if time allows so I say it is up to you, but I have been saying that all along! :lmao:

Question for you all....have you heard of Tastykake's?? I posted on face book, asking my friends what they think of in reference to PA. THis is the number one post. So, I am thinking....really....do the rest of you live a sheltered life and never had a Krimpet????

Let me know.....this may be an add on gift since I already did my FE gifts.

I have never heard of either :teeth:

We are on first dining...anyone else with kids looking to buddy up? Mine are 13, 8 and 6. I will give fair warning, my 2 little ones are a handful :scared1:......if you chose us, do not feel guilty moving after the first meal :rotfl2:

I am on second dining too. :(

I am going to stay at the raddison in Port Canaveral. They had an awesome deal of 35% off but I was going to stay there anyway. I want to be at the port and spend the day at the beach or shopping or something.

I was reading a trip report that was talking about getting up at 4:30 in the morning to welcome back the Wonder and a bunch said that it was the highlight of the trip. Anyone want to do that? I am not sure if I can get up then or not LOL

Now that sounds like fun, to welcome the Wonder back, I may give it a try. We will see how tired I am and how close we are to Port.

I have been trying to get others to go with us on the DCL and we had no takers, now with 60 days left, everyone one wants information and thinking about coming. (which would be great). My sister who as I type in on a flight from New York to Italy, to set sail on the family vacation in the Mediterranean, however my niece 6 is not going:confused3, I told my sister she should let my DN come on the cruise, now my DS is considering joining us as well:yay:. That would be great for me, as of now it is just me and my DD age 3 going and kind of makes family pictures a little hard.

I am thinking of going para-sailing and on the dolphin excursion and no one to take pictures-. So I do hope they can make the trip

Jen, did you get a chance to look at the FE list I sent you for group 1 yet?

I have also heard of others doing this, and they say it is great. I am not sure I want to be up at 4:30 on the day of embarkation though. Hmmm - must give it some thought!

I was thinking that too when I first read it but when everyone else chimed in as to how it was the best of the trip! I thought...hmmm this might be worth it. Who knows. I might not be asleep ANYWAY due to excitement! :yay: I mean watching the ship come in that you have been waiting to see for 6 months? I get excited when I see it through the Port Canaveral web cam!! :rotfl:

YOU guys[sorry about the pun] are going a little "over-board" going down to the port at 5am to watch the ship come in when at 5 pm you will be on the ship going out of the port. I'll tell you it's much more fun being on the ship going out of the port.

You can upgrade at the port for a fee. Depending on what is open and what cat you upgrade to depends on the price but I have heard many say that it is cheaper than doing it online.

I am going southwest too! What time are you coming in? Where are you staying Sat night?

I think the Pirate night is the night of the sea night? (night 3)
