NO! WAY!!! NO WAY NO WAY NO WAAAYYY!! I am sooooo jealous! I would absolutely LOVE working for Disney!! CAll him and ask if he could get a spot for his friend (I will be his BFF if he gets me one.....sorry CruiseCrasher!)

Good luck to your son! I hope he gets it. I always tell my husband that when we retire we should move to Florida so we can work at Disney. He says that's not retirement but I disagree with him.

I decided not to cancel & rebook, b/c I remembered that I had booked a cruise parking package. So my room rate included leaving my car in the Radisson's extended lot for the length of the cruise. I just didn't want to mess with it.

I think I've decided not to join in on the FE. This is our first cruise & I don't want to get overwhelmed with everything I need to bring.
So I will check out what you all do, & maybe get involved for my next one (which I hopefully will book while on board!)

I am doing 2 seas (B2B) and I am going to rent a car. That is the cheapest way I have found. Plus, it goes back to the control issue I can get it when I land, I can go to my hotel, I can drop it off, plus my hotel gives us free shuttle to the port.

I am a newbie here, and have been reading through the post, you all sound like a fun bunch of gals... I think DCL better get ready. I am so excited to be going and just reading your post seems like the ship is going to be rocking. lol, I like most first timers am looking for any tips, suggestions, any thing extra to make this trip a BLAST. BOY, I tell ya planning a Disney trip is IN FACT ROCKET SCIENCE lol. Thanks in advanced for welcoming to your group, and cant wait for the on-board party.

Is anyone packing coustomes for the little ones, I have a Minnie Mouse/Tinker Bell/ Princess Tiana who want to bring all her costumes.

We are still deciding on if to arrive the day of departure, or day b4- If we leave day off we will arrive at 6am which gives us plenty time, but not sure if we wanna risk it.

I am only going to bring a pirate outfit for my daughter.

I go for the day before. Not only is it safer with the weather or delays, I dont think I could sit around here for a day! I am staying at the Raddison and they are having a 35% off sale until Friday so if you decide to come in early book it! They wont charge you a fee (well they said it is SUBJECT to a fee of $25) unless if you cancel after 9/22.

wavels everyone....welcome to the newbies... Things have a bit crazy here at the house of Okun.

Still haven't heard from the old job, so to forstall giving up my truck took a job with my old boss (from 2005). The babystitters grandmother was ill so she flew up to Mass. this past Monday...the new babysitter fled out the door after 3 hours with my lil bean . Hopped on line and interviewed a new potential replacement.......seems like she wasn't as easily intimidated, but cant start until the 30th.

Hubby has been ill for the past 6 weeks, and the doctors are still trying to figure out what in the world is wrong with him....but figure barring any new symptoms he will be able to return to work on Tuesday. I start my new job on Monday......so we are hoping Maaaaa will be able to fill in the gap until the new babysitter can start.

Added to that the hiatus I took from school ends on Sunday, so back to full steam ahead as of Sunday morning. BUT....the new job is fully aware of the cruise and is paying me for the time off, even though I *technically* won't have amassed enough pto

As for cruise related things....omg...the list has grown by leaps and bounds!!! I think Jen is secretly recruiting friends/family for this cruise..lol

We have first seating, Palo ressies on day 2 @ 9pm, plan on staying on board @ Nassau, doing the 5k @ Castaway Cay, then plopping my fluffy butt in a chair and having many many fruity drinks brought to me. I got a really cute skull tank to wear @ pirates night. Gabe will be bringing his Peter Pan costume, Sarah hasn't decided between being a fairy or being a serving wench, or wearing her pirate tshirt (I'm sure I'll bring all options...just sayin) Dan will probably wear a pirate tshirt and bandana...same as last year......

Haven't even started on making FE's, and am 2 weeks behind on my spreadsheet....if you'd like it please pm me with your email addy & I'll will send it out to you no later than Sunday night.

: welcome : Hope U-Guys have a FUN-FUN TIME. WE are flying in on Thursday, staying at POFQ till Sunday Morn. We have a car rented for a week [ cheaper than 3 days then one day after the cruise].Thursday after the cruise we are staying 1 night at Caribbean Beach Resort, then flying home friday the 1st of Oct.I hope all these resort stays fall thru, cause we just bought 170 more Disney points resale at OKW.And if we close in time and get the points we will be staying HOME at OKW. HAPPY SAILING.

THank you for the pixie dust. I have been waiting on my DW for 12 years now to retire. Florida..........nice place to vac. but we don'T want to live there. Maybe if our son get the job and moves down we might spend more time there. HAPPY SAILING

FOR ALL OF MY FELLOW BAHAMA BREEZERS...Still excited. Hard to work. You should see my living room. Working on FE gifts and they are taking over my house! Hubby thinks I've lost my mind. My girls think it's funny. I tend to go overboard on most things when gift giving is involved. My friend told me she thinks it must be my "love language."

Right now I'm not only doing the FE gifts but am designing/buying/handling the gift bag budget for my oldest daughter's dance team (36 total) who will be going to Disney (holla!) for Nationals next March.

I keep getting confused on which project I'm buying for!

Hope I don't pack all of the rhinestoned, glitzy items I'm making for the girls to give as FE gifts for this cruise!

Ohhh don't talk about FEs! I have not had a chance to really start on my FEs!! I am so upset because I think they are going to be SOOO COOL if I could EVER do it! I just need to buy another machine
