Hey everyone!! We have been quiet lately!! I have be SO busy, my CPA test is next Friday, and this week we have been packing like mad because Tim is leaving for FL on Saturday!! I can't believe it's only 2 days away. I seems so much more real now that we are actually loading our stuff on a moving truck to go there!! I'm hoping our house will sell soon so I don't have to stay here alone for very long. Minnie is going too, so I will be living all by myself.

How is everyone else doing? I can't believe it is less than 6 months from our Dream cruise!! I'm pretty sure that at least I am going on the cruise next october, i'm hoping to at least get a part time job at the parks when I move, so maybe I will even get the cast rate by then!!

at the least you might even get a florida resident rate! cant believe its come round that quick already, hope the house sells soon. i'd hate that, i've been home when garys been away, and i can handle him being away, but when the dog's not there, thats when it gets really lonely. its just not the same not having them around.

I've been good so busy at work but quite at the moment. I probably just jinxed myself. I'll be in Disney in a little over 2 months!

We had a very active cruise thread, I think. My cruise in April didn't have too many either. The Dream has over 120 Staterooms already for the maiden voyage!! It's nuts. I've decided to do 50 rooms, I can't afford to do 120, and the gifts won't be anything like what I did for our cruise or I'd be broke making 50!!

Tim and Minnie are in FL. Minnie did really well with all of the packing and moving, much better than when we moved from our apartment to this house 5 years ago. She loves FL, and especially the pool!! She saw one of the little lizards that are everywhere there, and tried to chase them..Tim said it was pretty funny!! She also went in her first elevator in the hotel they stayed at on the way down...also very comical!! I'm gettin SO bored here by myself though...but, it is worth it to move to FL...I just have to keep my eye on the prize, or so they say...

I guess it will be nice if we dont have too many people doing our fe that way i can splurge on my home made gift.
Karen greg said he wishes yall were on the cruise cuz he wants Baileys in our FE i used the little bottle you gave us on my Adult Chocolate Milk

120 cabins! Figures, you know everybody on the DIS wants to be on that maiden voyage! I'm jealous, the Dream looks amazing. I'm hoping to go on a cruise next spring. I'm skipping Disney World next year. Unless I can get on the fam through work. I think I'm going to spend my 30th birthday there in 2012 and go all out.

Sorry Yall I have been WORKING my rear end off lately i cant believe my 1 year wedding anniversary is less than a month away. and the cruise counter for us will be below 1 year and after that we will be adding the resort counter. How have yall been? Mary have you gotten any interests on your house and Jen how is work going

hi guys,
well its all gone a bit naff down here.
i'm 30 on monday and we were planning on coming up to glasgow tomorrow, having a few days up here and a night up in edinburgh to celebrate.
got a call from gary on monday, his dad got rushed into hospital with a suspected stroke. so we left at 1am tuesday morning when i got back from work and are up here now.
his dad is ok, they dont think its a stroke, but now spending the week back and forth from the hospital, had to cancel the hotel.
not the best way to spend my 30th

Lainey - work has been good. We were really busy this summer but it's been very quiet recently, I guess since summer is nearly over. I can't believe how fast it all went by! But the closer to October, the better

Karen - sorry to hear about that but at least his dad is ok! Happy 30th!

Just found out today that gary's dad has got a brain tumour. That don't know how bad yet until they do more tests but he's going to be in hospital for a while. I'm going to probably drive back home Monday now instead of Tuesday.

just thought i'd update everyone.
ended up driving back down sunday night on my own which had the sh*t effect of me spending my birthday on my own, no gary and no dog. sucked.
Had a better day today, back at work so was good to get back into some form of routine. Plus went out for dinner with one of the girls from work which was nice. Would much rather have gary home but will just have to wait.
Garys dad got the results back from his CT scans today, there’s no sign of cancer anywhere else in his body which is great news, so whatever it is is just confined to his head. He’s been transferred to the neurology department so hopefully should get some news soon as to if/when/how they can treat him.

Sorry to hear you were stuck by yourself on your birthday. Hopefully when everything calms down a bit, you and Gary can celebrate. Better late than never right? Good news about Gary's dad!

updated, keeping everything crossed today because garys dad is going in for brain surgery in about 2 hours to remove the tumor. Apparently they didnt see the point in doing a biopsy first, they know it needs to be removed anyway, so are just going to go in there and take it out. Will let you know how it goes
