gary's dad made it through the surgery ok, hoping that the worst is over, but wont find out til next week what the ongoing treatment will be, or if they managed to get it all out.

gary come home for a few days to do a load of work and get some money in , he's already gone off to work and is out all day so probably wont see much of him over the next few days (then he's back off to glasgow friday), but at least i've got my puppy back too
apparently he's doing better, gary said he looked a lot better yesterday, he was up and talking, got more recovery to do yet but he's looking better.

you must be really excited jenny, officially on double digit dancing mode now!! and congrats on the fam! need loads of photos like last time!

Happy you have Gary and Cerby back. Hoping Gary's dad makes a speedy recovery.

cant believe its been over a year since we cruised! where the hell did that year go! i cant believe how quickly its actually gone, i'm only 2 and a bit weeks away from getting my one year service pin at disney

mary, congrats on passing your CPA!!! hope your house sells soon so you can make it down to florida with tim! you'll be able to get all those amazing florida resident cruise rates! you'll be platinum castaway club in no time!

lainey, happy 1st anniversary! have you got any more photos of your anniversary trip other than the one you emailed me? would love to see more

jenny, hope you have an amazing trip next week and happy early birthday! i've been reading your PTR and it looks like you'll have an amazing trip, and then you get to go back for your seaworld fam! lucky you! you just need to figure out a way of convincing kris to go back next september too so you can come out with me and lainey!

Thanks! I'm so excited, only 5 more days! It might be a tough sell trying to talk Kris into coming back next September. He reallllly wants to go to Green Bay. Who knows, maybe he'll fall in love with Disney this trip and want to go back sooner than later.

I cannot believe our cruise was a year ago. And that 2010 is almost over. Where did this year go??

Hey girls!! Thanks for all the congrats on facebook about my test -- I was actually in FL visiting Tim & Minnie when I found out. I had been waiting for what seemed like forever. It was Saturday, and I didn't think it would be there that day so I didn't bother to look -- then I went online and looked just for the heck of it (or out of habit, LOL) and it was there!! I was so excited I started jumping up and down, and Minnie was barking like a crazy dog -- we were outside by the pool, so thankfully nobody was on the golf course (their house backs up to a pond with one of the holes on the other side) otherwise they would have thought I was crazy!

Jenny, when is your fam? I'm going to be back down there in a couple of weeks.

I can't believe that the Dream Inagural is coming up so quick -- less than 4 months now!! I'm planning to go on the curise in October for sure, whether I can convince Tim or not is another story -- but I will be there!! I'm going to book on the inagural to get the OBC and discounts!

Karen -- i'm so glad to hear that Gary's dad is doing better. My Stepmom's sister had to go in to the emergency room today, she has lung cancer, and is done with her chemo and radiation, but then she had to have brain radiation because the kind of cancer she has is super fast spreading and goes quickly to the brian -- she was having trouble remembering things today and acting weird -- I hope she is okay!

hope your stepmom's sister is ok mary. i think it must hit you harder when you've been through all the chemo and radiotherapy and then it still comes back. brian's still got all that to come, he starts his radiotherapy next week and then has 6 months of chemo too. keeping fingers crossed that it all goes well.
i've been getting some of the dream updates on my facebook feed and it looks amazing! you're going to have such a great time!

jenny, you'll have to take soooo many photos when you're there, i'm living vicariously though other people's vacations at the mo because its sooo long til we go back i know you mentioned that your fam covers DC too, do you get to do the dolphin swim or is it just a tour? pretty cool either way though!

Mary - my fam is 10/20-10/24. When are you going to be down again?

Karen - They had an option to sign up for the dolphin swim for $100. If we could've paid it once we were there, I would've done it but they wanted it by September 10. I would rather put that money toward my Disney trip. Maybe they'll have a last minute option once we get down there. Otherwise, I'll be snorkling!

I'm going to be there the 14th - 23rd.

Right now, i'm trying to get my bonus at work...apparently it takes a while. But, I get $4,000 so YAY for that!!

Jenny, i'm jealous about the Discovery Cove thing -- I soooo want to go there!! But, i'm waiting until we have our FL resident stuff, because then it's a lot cheaper.

hi guys, hows everyone?
hope jenny's having a great time in WDW, and hope shes doing a good job of converting kris to disney!

i'm so excited! we've changed our plans a LOT for our trip next year. we were originally doing 7 nights in disney and the 7 night western cruise on october 1st.
now we've swapped things round a bit, and we're now doing the 14 night transatlantic cruise, followed by 4 nights at AKL in a club level DVC room (dependant on my renter being able to get the reservation), (also including dinner with lainey and greg, and anyone else who can make it, hint hint!) then 2 nights in north carolina as we've been invited to stay with two of our table mates from our cruise in june

this is going to be one awesome trip!

Hi ladies! I'm back! I had such a great trip and am so sad to be back. Kris enjoyed it more than he thought he would. He didn't love getting up early everyday (I'm exhausted) but he had fun at the parks. We're talking about going again, just the two of us. I was telling him about Star Wars weekends and how they fall in June and he even said "Maybe we can go for my birthday." (His bday is June 20). I took that as a good sign!

I'm currently posting pictures on facebook and will start a TR soon for anyone who wants to read along.

so glad you had a great time and that kris enjoyed it too it seems like you only went yesterday, has this past week gone by that fast?!!
yay for maybe doing the trip again, you'll be able to have a more relaxing time just being the both of you. can you post the link to your TR on here, i'd love to read it

been researching stuff for our trip next year, i cant wait to go cruising again, and we're going to go see some people from our june cruise in north carolina, so super excited to see some less touristy bits of the US too

wanted to share:
had a great day at work today, despite me expecting it to be sh*t
we had a visit from VP of european sales at disney store today so wasnt particularly looking forward to work, but we think it went well. also he apparently said that i was very good at my job and i also got the cast member of the quarter award!
