we've got a savannah view studio. cant wait, i love that hotel and i cant wait to go back! i was tempted to try kidani village but why mess with perfection?! ;)

Awesome! Between you loving AKL and reading a TR about someone who stayed at AKL, I'm really excited that I switched my reservation over there! :)

have you been to the hotel before? it really is stunning!
when we were there last year, there's a photopass booth in the lobby. we walked past it and thought he (the CM) looks familiar, turns out it was the guy who took our disney wedding photos! we stopped by and had a chat. really nice guy :)

i priced up upgrading the whole holiday and it was over $1000 more than i was originally paying for 12 nights ASM. well we can but dream..... ;)

i've just had a look at the DCL website, and they're still showing cat 12s as available. i presume theyre having trouble filling the ship. oh well it looks good for all of us who've booked cat 12s!

No, I've never been to AKL before. I've never stayed mod or deluxe before and I'm knocking that out in one trip. :) The only deluxes I've visited are the monorail ones and I've walked through the lobby of the Boardwalk.

I have a cat 11 I think...

you will LOVE AKL, its just so awesome. we just couldnt get over how much we loved it. we stayed there the first 2 nights of our holiday and so we had some serious jetlag, we were up at 3am both days. it was just so nice and relaxing sitting on our balcony before the sunrise watching antelope walking by.
i cant wait to stay there for longer this time. we'll have more time to explore the hotel and do some of the activities they have there.

ps: i know you split up your land/sea, have you thought about downgrading to a cat 12? the rooms are exactly the same, they're about $150 cheaper, and you'll have more chance of being upgraded than a cat 11. the only downside is you wont get to choose your specific room.

I was thinking of downgrading just to save a little bit of money...more spending money for the trip right? :thumbsup2

there are cat 12s still showing. every bit of saving helps! plus you can join our fun game of obsessing about when they'll assign cabins!

Actually, I just checked. A cat 12 is the same exact price I paid in Sept for a cat 11. There would be no point in me switching.

oh yeah i forgot that the prices have gone up since we all booked. oops, oh well it was worth a thought!

It's been slow, probably because people are getting ready to go away for the long weekend. And I don't know what's up with the ac in this place but it is BOILING in here.

How was your day?

yeah not too bad, its gotten to the point in the month where my workload has really dropped, so i've been spending time trying to look busy!!
took the dog out when i got home and then mowed the lawn, nothing exciting! looking forward to the weekend, i'm working for a few hours saturday afternoon, but its not too bad.
its the southend airshow on sunday and monday, so we'll have a look round there. not interested in the planes, but theres loads of ground entertainment. plus me and gary are going bowling on sunday night.

I have to work tomorrow and Saturday but I'm off Sunday and Monday. Saturday night is supposed to be rainy so I think Joe and I are going to see Night at the Museum 2. Sunday I'm going to his brother's graduation party and Monday we're planning on going to Dorney Park, an amusement and water park about an hour away from us in Pennsylvania.

sounds like you've got a fun weekend planned!
i've just gotta suffer through one more proper work day then its the weekend. although i'm working saturday its only 3 hours at the most and its down in customer services (where i used to work) so it'll be nice being back down there :)

I have to work 7-3 on Saturday. :sad2: That's probably going to be a long, slow day. Even more so because the co-worker who I am scheduled with that day is not speaking to me. :snooty:
