Penny, I have already emailed the maps, if you didn't get them go and check your spam folder, just in case my email has ended up there.

Oh my goodness. I have been lurking for a few days and actually wrote out nice post the last two nights before I headed off to bed but my computer just zapped them and wouldn't send them out. gggrrrr.

Anywho, life is rushing towards my family at full tilt and I could sure use some encourgment to keep running at this pace!

The DH got the word today, he is expected to report to duty for his new Gov't job (after 25 years with "the Bank" ~ he's a Senior Vice President) on September 28th. I am so excited for him, this process started in December last year! But at the same time, terrified for us! Huge changes after so many years with one employer. We even need to buy a car (boo-hoo, no company car after driving one for 20 years), his phone, our insurance all changes ( Our family goes through about $200 a month in just copays currently, no idea what the new plans will/won't cover for all our maintenance drugs), and then comes the 100 mile commute to just outside Wash,DC. The different hours. . .

He will leave the bank on vacation days (yeah, we all get to cruise together) and when we return, he will have a new employer. I guess lots of men change jobs a bit more often or work for themselves so this might not sound so big to some of you but it has just never been an issue with us, ever. The Bank had him before I did I like to say! We married the first year he worked there!

Anywho, my last few days of cruise planning and pulling it all together to travel have to be combined with lots of other stuff now. . .

And once we are off the ship? It is hightail it back up the road the 1000 miles to get home so he can report in on Monday am!

This vacation time just took on added meaning! The calm before the new storm!

So if I am scarce, I am reading along, just, just, . . .in overload mode!

I just had the same thing happen. I spent 3 hours writing about the reveal to the kids, was just about to send it and then it was gone!!!!!

Good luck with everything. I am happy that your Dh will be able to cruise with us. I amd sure that everything will be fine!!

I just had the same thing happen. I spent 3 hours writing about the reveal to the kids, was just about to send it and then it was gone!!!!!

sorry! :confused3 I have noticed on my pre-TR if you are posting and the login screen comes up...complete it and your post will still appear but that may not have even happened to ya'll.
I wonder if when writing a detailed post if you start in Word and copy and paste into DIS would prevent that?
That really bites! Inquiring minds want to know about the REVEAL! popcorn::

Thanks Paige. I tried but it would not come back up. I was just checking spelling and scrolling down and it jumped to another website that I was on earlier. :headache:

Oh, my gosh, y'all!!! How frustrating!!! I have actually had that happen, too, but not on this site. So irritating! Sorry about that, but we'd love to hear about it, if you can stand doing that all over again!!

Yes, I have had to do that several times but these last two it woudln't work for me:headache: I would log in and the bottom of page woudl say done so I would go back and then my page would appear just as I left it.

But not those times and today, I'm to stinkin' tired to type that much!

I completely understand...sorry for your loss! :scared:

Kim...thinking of you. You and yours will definitely have a big adjustment but I am hoping it will all go smoothly! DH changed jobs after 9 years through a transfer/relocation and then 1 1/2 years later changed companies...it is a lot to take in - or should I say fill out ~~~ forms! Should be pretty smooth...the gov't should have the process pretty streamlined for you to get everyone covered. Now a new car...hmmm we lost a company car too :headache: I so feel your pain! Good luck ~ that is a stinkin' process. I feel the need to tell you to breathe :cool2: (isn't that crazy coming from me...I am anxious as a cat on a hot tin roof :crazy2:...and no job adjustments to deal with) Just know you have good vibes coming your way :goodvibes
You ROCK! keep things going :cheer2:...you have several to keep up with there girlie...not sure how you do it! YOU NEED THIS VACATION...well earned and much deserved! to you!
Paige

Thanks Paige, I had my cry this morning (really life would have been so much easier {for me!} if he had started on 10/12 but he is soooo tired of waiting and just wants to have the transition done).

And now I am just trying to be supportive and put on my happy face for him when he gets in tonight. One of my good friends (that DH was able to get a job for) called me as soon as she heard and said "Soooo, how are YOU?" She definitely got it. Just a female thing I guess. The DH is very excited to just have something in place and working toward it. Everyone is sad to see him leave where he is so at least it is not an uncomfortable leaving ya know?

So yeah, I need to continue to take deep breaths, the older I get the worse I handle change it seems, how sad is that? Just when life starts to change the most! HA!

and I now return you to your regularly scheduled cruise excitement !

Mamajojo, Can I just say FRUSTRATING!! I hope you can get it posted again.

Thanks for thinking of me too as we adjust and handle all the changes.

Wow, I take a two day trip and there are 5 pages to read!!!!

Thanks for all the well wishes for the wedding, two weeks tomorrow! We are very excited.

Glad everyone has started getting the cruise docs, we're still waiting for ours but we live across the pond so it takes a bit longer I guess, hopefully they'll be here really soon.

I am currently sat in an airport lounge in New Jersey - two trips to the US this month, shame this one is for work.

Looking forward to seeing all really soon.

For those of you who will be visiting Disney World before the cruise, I will be working at Epcot Tuesday and Wednesday feel free to say hi if you see me. Here is a picture in my costume with my typical work look, minus the camera. LOL

Hmmm, that description sounds like quite a few guests I see every day. :lmao: On Sunday I will know what time I am working and which half of the park I will be in.
