I was being nosy in the 9/12 thread this morning, and a lot of them got their documents yesterday. We can hope that we start getting ours by Friday.

OOOhh, I love to decorate and love to help "wedding plan" for friends, did 3 weddings last year! Bring pics if you can, love to see them!

In fact, post them here, maybe it will help us GTY's pass the time, gosh, I am getting impatient.

Denise - we are planning to use the glitter spray on my little princesses hair at night for dinner. They will be wearing their princess dresses on a couple of the nights, so we'll do their hair up all fancy, and spray them down with the glitter!

Okay, I'm gonna have to get some glitter spray from someone if I don't find it before we sail. My DD4 will think this is just the cat's meow!

Gretchan, what nights are your girls wearing Princess dresses? I am debating, (Paige too I think) how many of the Princess dresses to bring. DD4 has a formal night dress, not Disney but will match DS6 in his tux shirt and cumberband and also match Mickey and Minnie foraml dress. DD4 also has several cute dresses I was planning on her wearing to the dining room. . .

So much to think about and plan! I guess the little girls can wear them to the clubs too for special events (see navigators for list).

Any ideas or insider knowledge about this? I would love to have pics with the Disney princess with my princess in similar attire. . .

I've been being "nosy" all over these boards trying to find out anything about when stuff will happen for us. I finally had to stop. There is just no logic at all to any of it! I mean several of the OCT cruises already have all rooms assigned. Soem others have gotten documents at 3 weeks out?!!!

And rooms available? oiy! changes daily. there are more cat 12's listed today which basically means, DCL is having a sale!

My TA could not tell me anything more then what I'e gleaned here on the DIS.

and so I wait, and wait, and martinezfamily and I are getting a good lesson in patience. ARG!

YEAH, someone to be crazy with! It is sooooo hard to wait but as long as I am on the ship when it sails I guess I'll live to tell about it.

Maybe we are half empty and we will get really great upgrades!

I'm right there with you on patience (or lack thereof) I am a Cat 6 GTY and its killing me. My DSis and DBIL bought an upgrade then were immediately given another upgrade with room number I purchased an upgrade and here I sit "Homeless" just like some others. I keep checking and checking..

Just watched the Magic sail out of Port Canaveral and out past Jetty Park Pier. Only 28 more sleeps and we will be on that ship!!!!

4 weeks from today, seems surreal in some ways we've been planning so long now.

And now I am off to make dinner for the fam, we harvested our first watermelon today! It was so delicious! Alas, we only have two!

Now grape tomatoes? I could supply the entire street! Pruned the zuchinni plant back (it had stopped producing after 25 or so very nice zucks and it gave us another nice Zuchinni today. Also finally plucked 7 ears of corn, not more than a few more left. This was all we planted!

We are eating off the land tonight which cracks me up as I am about as city-fied as you can get and this was our very first garden in 25 years!

The DS6 wanted a "growing experiment" , boy did this science project ever get an Aplus.

All that are left are the pumpkins which are about 12 inch in diameter. Summer fun stretches into the fall!

My mum is on the 4 night wonder sailing that leaves on the 20th, she had a 12 gty and has already been assigned her room, she was upgraded to a cat 10, she's known for a few days now. Hopefully it should happen soon, good luck to all those who are waiting.

I emailed my TA on Friday, asking if he had been contacted about any paid upgrades (I am Cat 6, GTY)....he has not. Asked was it likely? He said "who knows?" I told him I heard that room assignments were probably to be completed by Monday...he wanted to know the source of my secret info....DISBOARDS!!!!

Not sure what days the girls will wear what dresses. At this point, I'm not sure I have a preference as to what nights they wear what....might let them choose. I just know I have 2 princess dresses for them each, and I have some other pretty dresses for the other nights. Some just casual sundresses. I got a really pretty white dress today that I think would be perfect for the semi formal night!

Ok, I got my "less drowsy" dramamine (same ingredient as bonine, I just dont like chewable, and the bonine only came in chewable). So that's one more thing checked off the list!

That sounds about right. I'm sure Jillie (opps! I mean DD4!) will want to pick it out, I also have a formal dress for her, and some nicer sun/summer dresses. I'm way to far behind in my planning/packing to worry to much about which dress which night I guess

My pharmacist told me it's okay to swallow whole chewables! I was specifically asking about Bonine at the time and he must of been right. My teens swallowed theirs whole each time they took them and they worked fine!

I was up in my sitting room matching outfits and such tonight for the DS6 (Emory) and finally remembered to try on his long khaki pants he hasn't worn since probably May. They are a no go! And you know what? He owns enough plaid (mostly Gap type) shorts and polos? I'm just not gonna worry about it. He will look plenty dressed up for the 45 minutes he stays to gulp down his chicken fingers and fries before he ask to go back to the club!

This is the curse of homeschooling. No school clothes or specified time to switch from summer to fall clothes. Means we are still going strong with summer for now. Once everyone is back in school and the Moms are back home and out of the stores, maybe I'll go look for some new long pants that are not jeans, we have a plethora of those that fit fine it seems

And while I was doing this my DH informs me I am to buy him no more Disney T-shirts! Okay, maybe I've gotten a bit carried away with Goofy but seriously? He did say destination tees are still okay. So guess I will be in Ports looking instead of Treasure Ketch or whatever it is called! Maybe I can sneak in a Castaway Cay though

And with that, I'm off to complete one of my 28 sleeps until we sail!

Did you read about that guy on the general board that said he got assigned from a GTY12 to a Cat9 and then it went away and then he got a Cat12 numbered room That's just "mean spirited" as he put it.
I think he then "upgraded to a paid Cat11" Wonder if any pixie dust will find him now?

Guess I'll hope that doesn't happen, I'd rather not know!!

Quick post! I survived! It was a LONG night (and weekend, and month!!!) but it was well worth it! Here's a pic of me in front of my 12 foot tall Empire State Building... there are a few other pics in my photobucket... I assume you all can get to those by clicking into the picture... ? I have no clue! If not, I'll add them to another post tomorrow! Night y'all!

My dd is also 11 and my other dd is age 7... would they be interested in chatting via email prior to the cruise to get to know one another... We did this one other time in 2006 and the girls they met on that cruise are still friends with them, in fact we now see them once a year and make a point to get together.
