Ok, so after having started my pre-trip report way back in January I finally decided I would share it with others so I posted it today Thought I would let you guys take a gander if you are interested. However, be prepared, you will only be more assured how nuts I am with my obsessive planning issues...lol

also thanks for the disney rewards reminder I order mine tuesday after i realized my old one expired...I thought they were just going to be able to add my rewards too it....but they are sending me a new one and they told me 7-10 days! I hope mine comes in time!

No No No! MY DH favorite thing to say is "She saves me so much money I"m broke!" When I say "I saved so much" or "This was a great deal" His first question is "how much did you have to spend to save that much?" Knowing now to times the amount saved by anything from 10 to 90 percent to get the total of what I spent.

There's just no Disney math in that ya know? God Bless him, I just think differently about my math!

Our first WDW on site trip was with free dining and I convinced him we should stay at the POLY since it was like paying $150 for the room and $150 for the food we would have had to pay for anyway, Now that is Disney math! No $300 a night room was ever mentioned. . .

My DH has learned the same after almost 9 years! "But I saved $_____!!!" It doesn't really work anymore! I'm the spender, he's the cheapo.....I mean SAVER.....

I just got him some nice flip flops last night for the cruise, and he refused to wear them. He doesn't like the little thing that goes between your toes..... So he wears these brown tennis shoes, untied, with every casual outfit...... oh, well, I tried! He did agree to wear the kind you just slip your foot into.....that has a band that goes across the top of your foot I can't understand that....I LIVE in flip flops, sometimes even in the winter when I can get away with it!

So on top of everything else, now I have to return those stupid flip flops to Sams!

Add it to the list!!

gretchen - I got the glitter spray today...I spent $88 at Ulta maybe I should not go there again before the cruise...I needed my Pur Minerals Makeup too and they had a gift if you spend $17.50 on Ulta products...so also had to get my Heaven in the Hair Condish...so! we got the white (they had sliver, gold and white/pearly) dd picked the white! Like I said we are happy to share too!!

I got my last list of things today...downy wrinkle releaser, sunscreen, undershirts for dh (he has some that need to go in the trash), kid's motrin, tums, hair spray, glitter spray, snacks, candy for the CM's, highlighters, sharpie's, etc...you know all the little things. DS needed a black polo shirt for lifestyle portraits (we were going to wear white tops but I am scared ds and I will be too washed out - we are the fair ones) my dd got my dh's asian skin, lucky ducky! ds and I burn...easy hence all the sunscreen...I got burned while I was in GA under an umbrella at my brother's pool! I actually think the burn made me sick! And I have been so itchy!

ds needed new shoes laces for his shoes and that was one thing I could not fnd today...no navy ones? he has a bad habit of letting them come untied and then walking on them

I also got sidetracked and forgot the dry cleaning on the way home!! so I will get it tomorrow.

ds had a couple of school supplies that we had to pick up today...open house for school here is Sunday afternoon...so I wanted to be sure and take all his stuff so he does not have to lug it in!

yes, dh and I can have the map ready by the 9th ....I was planning on bringing it and handing it out in the port...but whatever works for the group is cool! I will ask LoriS to post it on the yahoo group!! That saves me from having to email it to everyone if you do not have access to the yahoo group LMK!

Paige - sounds like you got a lot done today! Way to go! And you got the glitter spray! YAY! We'll be glittering everyone! Yeah, I spent quite a bit at Ulta myself......

Thanks LoriS, that at least tells me where to go! And at the rate we are going (2Cat12's STILL unassigned!) I will probably just have to walk out my door and across the lobby and we will be there bright and early!

For those going to WDW, you can get a rewards card an Guest Services in any park or DTD.

I checked CVS, Walmart and the $1 store before I went out to Ulta but I could not find the hair/body spray at any of them...so I went to Ulta...but I needed to go anyway for my hair stuff and makeup!!

And for the FRU-gal talk I am not the best but I do ok...the way I see it "you have to spend money to save money"!! I have been good for the economy getting ready for the cruise no really...I have done pretty good! I held back and did not buy new suitcases but it was hard!

Yep, I will be PMing The Final List as I have it with ID's and Cabin #'s only so that it will fit easily in a PM. Since we will all have our gifts done and ready and/or have the other list with the breakdowns of adults/kids - this one will just be cabin #'s to make it easier to read in a PM and I will also get it to LoriS to put in the Yahoo Group.

I can definitely do it by September 9th since we have a location for an upgrades that take place at the port.

I can PM it on September 5th or 6th so everyone has it in plenty of time

Paige, I can PM it to you sooner so your Dh can have the maps ready for the 5th or 6th as well if you want me to do that.

Wow, I am glad I am not all alone. That is how I do my Disney Math. I always look at the money saved, not spent.

My husband enjoys Disney, but can only handle so much information. So I now dispense information in little amounts.

We had originally planned a 4 day cruise then when he watched the video he said he would like to do the 7 day cruise. I asked him was he sure, and explained we would have to go down to a category 11 inside stateroom, and would have no veranda. He reminded me that we are not in the room that much and when we are we want to sleep.

The last couple of months have been stressful, we bought a house and had to pay off our DCL and WDW trip. So this is how it went I had to tell him we need to PIF for the cruise a month early so I could book our onboard activities. A month later we need to PIF for our 3 nights at WL, then 2 weeks later, I had to explain we needed to PIF for our last two nights at WDW. Then I told him we had to order DD, DS, and his WDW tickets before they went up. I thought the man might have a heart-attack. I had to explain that with my AP we are saving a lot of money on the rooms, and we have added the DDP without having to buy tickets through WDW. And we will be saving $50.00 on our tickets by purchasing from Undercover Tourist.

Little does he know that we have to pay for our DDP at AKV when we check in. I will get around to telling him, but I have to find the right time. Not good timing with back to school shopping, new house shopping and trip shopping.

He also puts me in the category of Disney Commander, because I have everything planned out.

His little joke is the only trip he was able to plan was our honeymoon. So he wants a year to plan a trip. I said great as long as you pack, and take care of all the food, and accommodations.

Out of the two of us he is the talker, and I am more quiet, but once I get to know you a open up.

Gotta love him, he does a great job putting up with me, and all my WDW obsession.

I am super excited. DH brought home a present for me last night.... a remote mobile speed stick and a "net book" - so now I can surf the net while on car rides...

On our way to my parents house - 2 hours away. and trying out this new doohicky ...its great.

Made the FE for my parents last night and I am going to give it to them today... SHHHH I won't be telling the secret about the magnet/postcards... I can't wait to see their faces!!!

Also noticed that MNSSHP is on at MK on the night before the Cruise and DH and DD's are excited that they will be able to go... I will likely go back with my parents to AKL and rest up for the excitement of the next day. There is a discount for Annual passholders and DVC members- for anyone who may be interested in going!!

Here I can find the glitter spray at 'Claires' We too use it for Dance recitals... can someone clue me in what you are going to be using it for...as I see a lot of you are going to be bringing it??

Is there an ice cream social planned for the kids???

Kileybeth I would recommend you make them go before the Beltway!! I hate riding or driving on the Beltway. Those people are crazy. We live off 2/4 & I usually take the southern route to avoid the Beltway.

I'll be driving by myself for the first time. Is it illegal to duck tape your kids? I don't drink, but if you see me the two the first day you'll know why. My hubby is going to Jacksonville for work on Sept.8. I can't see having 2 boys in a hotel room for two weeks, w/ school work. Not to mention it would drive our dog insane to have us gone that long. The cool thing will be that we can listen to Disney music on the way down. Since they're both old enough to ride in the front they can trade seats & hopefully lessen the need to kill the other sibling. I do have a dual screen dvd player for the car. My aunt's always telling how they never "did" that. They always played games, read books, etc. That's because it was our only choice as kids!!! If they'd had small electronics I'm sure she would have used it.
Bunny update. The mom has moved both babies out of our yard. Hopefully they are in a safer area.

Denise - we are planning to use the glitter spray on my little princesses hair at night for dinner. They will be wearing their princess dresses on a couple of the nights, so we'll do their hair up all fancy, and spray them down with the glitter!
