Welcome welcome to all the newbies to our cruise thread! It sounds like we have an awesome group!

Kim-I agree w/ you on the FE list let's just be done with it. Can we start a
2nd FE group and close the 1st? That way everyone can get in and no one is waiting to be "voted in". My concern is that if we let a few in after cutoff then those requesting to be voted in after that will get hurt feelings if we vote no. I wouldn't want anyone to feel bad. I am a softy too and would say yes to everyone. Anyone on FE list #1 could always sprinkle some pixie dust on list #2. Now I will crawl back to my corner.


I signed up W/ Photobucket and after many failed attempts to download photos, I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. My computer at home is practically brand new. I brought one picture with me to work and was able to download. I feel like such a blonde!

The only one I have here doesn't show our faces (might be less scary) but I want to see if it works. My feeble attempt at posting a wedding pic...

Ok Gang, we're getting down to the wire for CC members to choose reservations and I have questions on exactly what time and day.

I thought I had it on my calendar for the 20th, but from a confirmation that came with my booklet, it says reservations can be made the 21st.

And I know we are talking 12 midnight plus 1 second, but its gonna be hard for me to stay up that late either night

Do I stay awake Friday night or Saturday night??

jonesing, I too was touched by that story about tink&cinderellas parents. I will definitely bring along a postcard or two and perhaps a magnet as well for their vitual tour!

Sinderelly, picture came through loud and clear, love it! gotta wonder how much two love birds like you will come out of that stateroom though at least it solves the mystery of the ship rocking and here I thought it was the waves all these years. How many newlyweds do we have on our cruise anyway?

Thank you Disneymoon. It looks better from the back. I'm not sure which side of the ship we will be on as we don't have our cabin assignment yet. We plan to spend as little time as possible in our cabin.

Wow it didn't take long for those 100 bracelets to be spoken for. That's awesome!

Are we doing postcards,magents or both for TC's parents? Our little town is nicknamed "Tree City." We have a tree growing out of the top of the courthouse where DH works. I lived my entire life in a small scenic area not far from here until I recently moved to be with DH. Anyone heard of Brown County Indiana? I would love to share both areas. Aweome idea Jonesing!

Magical_Tink, You can do it both ways, single or double. I think single is $95 and double is $160 ($80 per person) I am doing single since my wife is not brave enough to ride with me.

Hello Everyone!

Well, based on the feedback I have gotten so far, the majority of us are cool with us adding daveyc and tink&cinderella I know that there were some that had already purchased and made or began making gifts for individual children so may not be able to "exchange" with Tink&cinderella (which I know they will totally understand) so if you want to OM me and let me know for sure if that is the case - I will "freeze" you at the point you tell me to and then you can just exchange with those that you had already made for since it's so late after cut-off.

I am also ready to be "done" with any changes as it is going to get more difficult the closer we get get so as of NOW - the FE Exchange List is CLOSED to new additions

Here is the Most updated list of participants (our total Cabins are 35). For those who need an updated version with # of kids, etc. - please PM me and I can get that to you. I now have it in WORD and EXCEL versions

Thanks so much for all of your feedback and offers of help! This IS the last one so now the only thing that will change is the updates of Cabin #'s (those I don't have are in blue below) and if we ever here from ChrisLei - the addition of their family info. I don't want to remove them from the list but really hope we hear from them VERY SOON since many are making specific gifts

Please let me know if there are any corrections needed!

Waverunners excursion is 1 hour total, 10-15 minutes of safety briefing followed by a 45-50 minute ride. For all those interested, the following is all the info available at DCL website.

WATERCRAFT SKI ADVENTURE - SINGLE
After a 15-minute safety orientation where you will learn about the important hand signals and separation distances, prepare to make waves and pilot your own "WaveRunner" and head for open water.

Skim the translucent blue waters of Castaway Cay as you past the Flying Dutchman, the ship featured in Walt Disney Pictures' "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies, and also your Disney Cruise Line® ship on your way out of the lagoon.

Follow your guide to two stops where you will learn about the fascinating history of the local Abacos region, including stories of the area's abundant marine life, unique ecology — and even which pirates frequented these waters.

Then it's time to hold on tight once more as you soak up the sun and race across the stunning Caribbean Sea. After approximately 45 minutes, enter the protected waters of the lagoon once more as your tour concludes at Boat Beach, in the heart of all the Castaway fun.
