This is the "active" list that I have - the ones in BOLD are the ones I don't have Cabin or # of children/adult info, for so please reaply ASAP to me or post a note here so we can be sure we have everyone's info. Please don't delete anyone yet if they don't reply to roll call! I really just don't want anyone to miss out when they are planning on aprticipatin! Sorry to keep repeating myself but since I have gotten many PM's in the past that have said "Sorry - I don't get a chance to log on often" - I just don't want anyone left behind!

Also for any GTY's - please let me know if you have your cabin numbers already so I can get the list updated

I can also send the FULL Excell File to anyone that wants it via email, like I had earlier when we began to finalize. I know there is someone who wanted to be added and you said you PM'd phishgirl but she doesn't have the full list so please let me know who you are and I can get you added so you are not left out.

Please note that we have now CLOSED the FE list! We had all voted to close it on May 1st

I can also send it to the person who posted it on the Yahoo Groups so it's updated there as well!

I hope I am not causing more confusion - just trying to keep it all together since I have had it for so long and just don't want anyone disappointed and left out

Just a note - ** phishgirl is no longer on our cruise so the list on the front page is not an updated one Please PM me with any changes

Andrea- just to clarify... you have 3 adults and 1 (4 year old girl) child? Correct? I saw at the bottom of the previous post it said 2 kids.... set me straight!


Hmm i musta been having a rough day that day then! hahaha we only have the one Kiddoe!

It will be, myself, my husband, my daughter (4 years old) and my mom on this cruise

LoriS-I am so glad to see your check-in/update. I am making special Birthday bags for your DDs.

Please everyone make sure your children are on the list. I think there were a few families on the FE list that had not gotten that information in at the time the list was created? I am making FE gifts for all the kids and would feel horrible if a child got left out!

We are first time cruisers so we are FE rookies. To those with more experience-Has anyone had a problem with FEs ,gifts, magents being "taken"?If an FE gift would happen to dissappear our fellow cruisers in that cabin would think they didn't receive a gift from us.

SORRY - had to post a question???? I thought the list was finalized and emailed to everyone and then participation cut-off was May 1st???

I know that there are MANY that signed up that don't get a chance to log on here very often so they may miss the Roll Call and that's not fair if they don't get to participate since they all were in agreement for the cutoff. Not sure why there are some in BOLD but if you have any questions, please PM me or the person in BOLD.

Hope this doesn't cause too much confusion but I really would hate those that have signed up and plan on doing gifts for EVERYONE on the list to now NOT get any because they missed Roll Call

So Hello everyone!
As my husband (jonesing) said yesterday we are booked on this cruise!!! Although I love the day countdown it seem soo far away I prefer the fact that it is only 4 months away!!! Anyway I noticed the Fish hanger post and would love to get all of us involved! LOL That’s right I tend to just pile all the people in my room into things like this!
A bit about me/us! We currently live in Tucson! And yes its HOT! And yes it is a dry heat but its still HOT! I hate heat so this is just about the most wonderful place in the world for me! I am from Delaware and miss it terribly! I am a SAHM and most days I enjoy it! I am was jewelry designer before the kids and I enjoy working with my hands! I like to think I am crafty! The husband can speak for himself so I wont go into his details!
We have two little ones! Nathan will be 4 at cruise time and he is a doll but a handful! If anyone has shy kids he is the one to make friends with them for sure! He plans on spending time away from us hanging out with his friends so that is great for me!! Lauren will be 21 months at cruise time. She is a giggler for sure! She is so in love with her big brother which can be good and bad!
Our 5th cruiser is my best friend! You will see us call her my sister simply because we are more then friends! We have known each other since birth pretty much! I am an only child and she is the only girl and baby of her family! She travels with us and is usually referred to as the other wife! She is extremely shy which I feed off of and tend to push her out to be more social! For a shameless plug she is 34 and single! That’s right I am pimping her out a little!
I noticed someone else from AZ so we are not alone! I keep getting asked why we would plan a cruise/vacation when it will be VERY hot in Fla and our ports of call! I laugh at them and remember we have had several days of 100+ degree heat and its only May!!! Anyway I will try and keep up with the board! Not sure I can get to the back pages but moving forward should be easy! Let me know if any help is needed for anything fun!

Aww thanks so much. It is getting really hard for me to keep it a secret. They know we want to go on this cruise but do not know it is booked yet. My dh wants to keep is quiet as long as possible, so we will see.

Morning All

Sorry to be MIA this weekend and just now catching up on all the FE blitz of info, wow, when did this get so complicated?!

I will chime in with a few items.

I too, thought we all agreed on June 1st for cut off but then saw it being cut off on May 1st and was fine with that also BUT then saw a few newbies wanting in on the action, still fine with that so far but feel I must say, 35 cabins is getting up there!

Many more and I feel like I will have to bow out. I love this idea and really want to participate for my kiddos but I must not be a very good shopper as I am spending more then the "recommended amounts" I see on other FE post. I know in theory it is the "thought that counts" but I really hope to get every one of the kiddos a little something and at least one "cabin" gift? Am I making sense? I know it is not completely accurate but last time I tried to total I came up with over 53 adults, 17 girls and 12 boys. So the kid portion still seems very doable at this point. I am having a hard time pining down adults who are part of a "couple" and individuals/friends/grandparents/aunts/uncles etc. and how to give out for those? One per cabin seems not quite right as they may leave the cruise boat and head home into different households?!

so, yeah. . .I also am overthinking this whole thing as well!

And about the yahoo acct. I am having a hard time keeping up here on the Dis, haven't even posted over on my Passporter act. and have a devil of a time finding my yahoo acct info when I want to go there. and yes, you are all correct in rolling your eyeballs at me, I am not your organizer person or one to manage these things. Just love the creative side and fun of it all.

My preference would be to have ALL of this settled by June 1st, (today!) but am willing to wait until June 15th for anyone still not responding, or jumping on board to join in but I firmly believe we really need a complete cut off sooner then later. And then, if folks want to spread a bit of pixie dust to others who missed the cutoff that is still an option but not a requirement to particiapte? I intend to have some extra on hand to do just that? Am I making any sense? I just need to go ahead and order stuff and don't want to have tons of left overs or come up 3 or 4 short, KWIM?

How I am reading list: I did not see texasbloke until this post (how many and what ages/genders?) and I too, saw a request from Jonesing but they are not on list? and martinezfamily is posting regularly on these boards so a PM to them may be able to get them off the bolded list? Which only leaves ChrisLei, Michelle9394,and so_oregon bolded correct? Pumbaa is off the list I think has been established but for some reason just keeps popping up? I just cross them off each time I reprint list! whew! Good luck with this you organized types! I simply await a final list!

AND so all that to say this: WE ARE IN! 2 adults (DH and DW, me) 4 kiddos, DS17, DD14, DS6 and DD4, or in other words (okay I love words) two boys, two girls (and their parents) who are two teens, two little ones and a mom and a dad, two cabins, but only hanging one fish extender with 5 pockets, one for each kiddo and a shared pocket for DH and I, sailing GTY so no cabin number yet. whew!

Just realized I have more FE questions.

Disneymoon0909 is not on my most recent list ( I guess I mean the excel version over on the yahoo acct) but I did see her posting and know they are "in" sooooo, that's just 2 adults?

and noticed martinezfamily is no longer bolded so do we have a count for them? I think I read on another thread they have boys? and more then 2 adults?

and jonesing is 3 adults and 2 kiddos?

am I missing where these facts are posted? sorry to be so slow on the uptake here!

okay, I'll just be quiet now and wait for a finalized list right??!!

I do have info. for Martinez family and it is in the list I have. The "details" are only in my spreadsheet as its for the FE participants only and I can email that to anyone if you PM me your email address AND have Excel or I can transfer it to a WORD document as well

And honestly, we have gotten anything from a SINGLE lollipop, to a few stickers, to a samll bag of mixed candy, to a gift bag of goodies so it TRULY is the thought that counts! Most people do not do the gift PER INDIVIDUAL but PER CABIN so you would only need to do 35 total and not worry about the individuals. It's totally up to you but that is an easy way to keep costs and time down

No one will be disappointed with what they get and my kids are just excited to see something in the FE

I have 109 Days to Go until the ACTUAL cruise date of 9/19!!! WOOOO HOOO!!! (A friend bought me a countdown clock and it has been set for 9/19 since we booked on board our last cruise in April '08)!

So, with the additions of the 2 cabins, I have it down that we have 60 adults and 29 kids (13 boys and 18 girls). That does not include info from Martinezfamily, Michelle, or so_oregon. That is indeed a LOT of people! Hope we get everyone's info soon!

It is SO MUCH EASIER to do your gifts BY CABIN and NOT # of people! Just a tip from someone who had done 2 before! But of course I know others are doing them per child, etc. and that is totally up to each individual family - I just find it easier to put together and deliver when they are by cabin

Just sharing a tip that has helped me in the past!

I just wanted to let everyone know how excited I am to be able to be added to the list. I would have signed up a lot earlier, but just found out about the FE last week. I cannot wait to start shopping for everyone's goodies!
