I just paid off our cruise balance last week with some found money

At the Dentist's office today, the Hygenist gave me the obligatory toothbrush and teeny tiny floss sample package... Then I asked for another of each to take on the cruise Oh yea, she happily gave them to me -hehe

Although my Dh was taunting me about my obsession, I think he's getting into it now. Example: I had printed out the wine list because we plan on doing the wine package and I have been "testing" wine a bottle at a time to see what I like and what I don't. I have discovered that I don't like ANY chardonnays. I have 4 months to get through the rest of teh whites and all the reds

Nice turn out for ROLL CALL guys! Looks like everyone is starting to feel like this will really happen! I personally can not wait to pay this thing off in full and know there is no turning back!

Lots going on in this household as in many of yours.

My two teens have completed all their support raising for there summer Missions trip in the fartherest reaches of the backwoods of Maine, nearly Canadian border and are into the last minute packing/planning meetings as well as their team meetings. They participated last year for the first time and can't wait to face all the bugs, heat, rain, sleeping on very hard surfaces, 16 hour road trip and just plain hard work all to help out these little ones who wait all year for this group to come for one week and shower love on them. Did I mention I might be a tiny bit proud of them for giving up their time, money and so much of their summer vacation to do this?

My DH is transitioning into some new job duties and our vacation times are all up in the air. He knows he has to work it out with this cruise or else I sail without him! ha!

We also are car shopping. YUK! I hate cars and what they cost and how much they cost to "feed".

And just to make life a bit more adventurous? My DH took out a humongous bee nest in one of our ornamental pear trees last night after I saw a swarm of 1000's of bees earlier in the day! Remains to be seen if we got them all or if my tree survives.

Welcome to the newbies yet again! So fun to have more join us. To Gabbie (Amy) from AZ/DE just wanted to let you know the Fish Extender Group I believe is closed now? Had to pick a cut off date for everyone to get a list and a budget together and start shopping. Not sure what that means for sure. Someone else may know? Yonkrsgirl? Paige? You can always sprinkle pixie dust anyways and participate incognito and if you hang a FE I'm sure others will come by and sprinkle some right back on you. I know I plan on bringing a few extras just for that purpose!

And the latest in cruise shopping? Sharpies in fun colors for photo mats, dry erase board for cabin door, more cute tees for little ones, more FE stuff, and magnetic frames for door as well.

LoriS, your girls are so cute! Love the neckline of those two dresses. Thinking of letting my DD4 wear her flower girl dress (white) for formal night so she can kinda match Minnie in her white gown. She prefers all her princess gowns but would not keep those on for long and would probably last longer in the white dress.

sinderelly, wondered the same thing about the GTY room status. I will just post our room numbers here before we leave but realize others may leave early for a week at WDW before cruise? Maybe we should assign a place to see final list onboard?

Checking In! Such a crazy time of year here - our school year ends next Friday and my daughter is graduating from Kindergarten and transitioning from old PTA position to a new position for the next school year. And of course - CRUISE Planning - WOO HOO!!!!

Went FE shopping with Jackaroo's mom (my niehgbor) and finfans (close friend who we have cruise with twice) the other day and we now know what we are all going to do for our FE's so that is cool and we will be working on those next month!

Can't wait to pay off the cruise - that sounds weird - but must be done

If anyone has any updates to the FE List or needs the FE list - just send me a PM. I know there was a question about the GTY cabins, etc. and we can just keep updating it and if there are any changes - we can confirm them the week before. Most changes should be done no later than 2 weeks prio so we should be ok. If anyone is leaving before the 2 weeks mark from home - we can be sure to get them an updated list at the meet or something. We can arrange that as it gets closer.

I wasn't the one originally keeping track of Special Occassions so it anyone has that list and and anyone needs it (think it is on Post #1) updated, we can look into that. Not sure if this is something we all need a copy of or not.

Cannot believe it's only 120 days to go!!! WOOO HOOOO!!!!

Holly, my dh David is certified and dives everytime we cruise but I can't swim therefore he goes alone. He wants to dive Cozumel this time because this will make our 3rd trip there and he has never been diving there. When you dive you always have to have a buddy so if Steve wants maybe David and he could be buddies for the dive.

Me again! Just to clarify the FE list is on the Yahoo Group under "files". I did not create/maintain it but I did pm it to fellow cruisers to help Yonkrs Girl...so if you have FE issues sorry I cannot help unless you just need a copy...check out the Yahoo group to view it! With too many hands on the list the changes can get confusing so it was easier for 1 person to do all that! The one on the group site is up-to-date from the last pm, correct me if I am wrong .

I really enjoyed the 4 month roll call awesome. And LoriS your girls are tu-tu cute

I saw DCL announced a MAJOR OBC today...wouldn't you know it ends in August and is only for new bookings! Darn. $700 OBC would come in handy!
Here is that info in case you know someone who needs it:

As of today Disney has released a great offer for new bookings!

If you book a Verandah Stateroom- Categories 3-7 you will get a $100 onboard credit per stateroom, per day.

So for a 3 night sailing you will get a $300 OBC, for a 4 night sailing you will get a $400 OBC and for a 7 night sailing you will get a $700 OBC!

Offer good for most sail dates between June 20 and August 8, 2009.

Only bad thing is the offer is open to new bookings only! Booking code is RAMA.

I called my TA and told her I wanted pay my balance + plus tips...she said I will get vouchers on the last night of the cruise to give to the appropriate people!
Tips for us were $336 and I can add money to those who go above and beyond!

I can't believe that $700 onboard credit, best not tell the DH, he'll be making me cancel and rebook a new date in August! With two cabins, that would be an insane amount of OBC but of course we'd have to pony up the mula for a Cat7 and well, then I couldn't afford to sail, BUM!

cruise purchase of the day: more kids FE gifts and two bathing suits for me (blech!) but I needed a couple new ones and I always say ~tan fat looks better then ghost white fat~

Hey everyone just checking in. It's great to see so many have paid it off. I wish we were there! We till have to pay $3100 for it. Hopint to have most of it paid by the middle of June before we put anything on our credit cards. it will probably be like $800 but have to get it paid before the 90 day mark so i can do my reserving.

Just keeping my fingers crossed that nothing else goes wrong or we may not make it.

(my husbands car broke down and he has been walking to work because the car will have to wait until i finish paying for this trip!)

a day here or there isn't a big deal to me but my kids are religous in their efforts to keep track of it. Funny thing is, we will actually abandon the whole thing about a week before we go as Mommy (me) will be in high gear and a total hurricane of stuff will happen and then we will leave for a very long drive so, not so very important in that sense, but gotta keep the kids motivated around here somehow!

Still sounds like tomorrow sometimes and to many months at others! Can't make up my mind!

Can't find them and last item for today? More glow sticks. I am obsessed with them. My kids play with them whenever I let them so no telling if any will make it to September!

Off to Rehoboth Beach tomorrow! Yum, boardwalk fries, carmel corn and pizza. Thank goodness my tire went flat today and my life time warrenty on them (Love Just Tires!) put a new tire on and paid for the labor too! yeah. So worth $13.50 a tire! Wouldn't have been fun to wait for a tow.

Good, they can meet at the meet and greet and talk diving..lol. In Oct David went to Anthonys Key Resort in Honduras and done a dolphin dive, he said it was his favorite dive yet.

We were at Office Depot today (no Staples in town ) and they had some binder clips, super paper clips and magnetic jumbo clip (magnet with a 5" paperclip attached). These items were selling for < $2/package.

Grottos! DW is incredulous that you aren't getting Thrashers fries! We'll be in DE next week and she's chomping at the bit to have a decent sub from Claymont Steak and Rita's. We've run into a few Capriotti's locations in our travels through UT, Vegas and a location in PHX! Actually there were two but one of them closed.
