what do you all think of this one?

I vote for this one!!

I have a DS who will be 6 on the cruise. He is a little shy at first, until he is comfortable with a situation. The only thing is, we are surprising the kids and they won't know ( I hope) until we drive up to the ship. i would love for him to meet some friends before putting him into the club though. Thank goodness he will be going to the club with my (very outgoing) DD who is 7. It would be nice however for him to make some of his own friends. Maybe when we do the meet?

my son is 6 too and like an oven ( he needs to warm up) maybe they can hang out in the clubs together

I think I will be doing the traditional head with the bandana large on the bask of my shirt and the green on small on the front right side like where a pocket would be

That would be great! Once he meets people he is fine, it is just the initial meeting that is hard for him. What type of things does your son like to do?

We made reservations today to stay the night we get back at Boardwalk villas. We even got a boardwalk view. We're looking forward to getting in at least one night of F&W before heading home. We had already made reservations for Animal Kingdom Villas for the night before the cruise. Boardwalk is new for us, we've not stayed there yet.

OMG! You are gonna love Boardwalk! We stayed there in Nov 2007 and it was great! And there is so much to do RIGHT THERE! Do not forget to visit the Boardwalk Bakery for some treats! Or take a boat ride to one of the parks!
We have never stayed at Animal Kingdom but that seems really fun too! You have a got a great trip planned!

we're excited. we've stayed at Beach Club villas several times. I'm bummed that Spoodles has closed,we always went to the window for a pizza fix. can't wait for the bakery and hope to get off the boat at a reasonable hour to get up there.

Kileybeth, we live in Lusby, MD, it's near Solomon's Island.

We have early dinner & aren't' planning any excursions. We plan to get key lime on a stick in Key West, got to Chankanabb Park in Cozumel, & have no idea what else we will do.

Can anyone tell me if you can ask for small portions at dinner? I want to try different things, but I don't want a lot of food. What's they gym like? I have a feeling I'm really going to need it!!!:lmao:

ok quick update! dh and ds got their tuxes in the mail today! YAY and yes we did decide to do them even thought they are not required...both of my guyd like the idea of tuxes! ds looks SO cute in his but I am afraid the sleeves my get to be too short before Sept...may have t let them out a bit! Got a GREAT deal on them on ebay ...$88 for both. now I just need a bow tie and shirt for ds...his was just the pants and jacket!

anybody else (women) know what they are wearing for formal night? nvcruiser's dress is lovely and I would love to see more...still have not decided about me?? Hum...DD has two elegant dresses that would work so no biggie there!!

I do know what I'm wearing but its not finished yet and I don't have a picture. My brother is making it for me. I bought the material and pattern. It is a long dress and is a deep red colour. (if I'm remembering rightly) It was a while ago that I bought it and I'm not allowed to see it until its finished. My Mum and sister have seen it and say it looks fantastic so far.

I was going to make pirate costumes for the kids but picked up a couple when I was out shopping yesterday. I figured they could also were them to MNSSHP when we get back. Now I have to think of something for me and DH. Same with formal night for DH. Do we or don't we get the tux? We would have to hire it. He is bringing his suit for when we go to Palo.

well I bought a black and white dress today for formal night...short above the knee and short sleeve....not really floral pattern but more a zag "motif" on it...I am going to wear it formal night and to Palo's! YAY! Cannot find a pic online but I will keep looking...I got it at the Coldwater Creek store!

I hope everyone is able to find formal attire that makes you all look and feel great! I was able to wear my dress last night for a dessert/wine thing at our local library (I was the evening's pianst/background noise!) and absolutely loved it! I even bought a new pair of shoes, so I'm set for formal night and have a cute pair of strappy black shoes to wear! I've got my airfare booked (so glad Southwest finally released their dates!) and am almost completely paid off! Wahoo! Now to just save up that spending money (must have money in the budget for those virgin mai tais!) and I'm ready to go! Hope you're all enjoying spring! We had a nice mid-week snowstorm, but it warmed up and melted 2 days later, which I'm glad for! Sure do love "spring" in northern Nevada! ;)

Just wanted to check in with our fellow cruisers. Paige it sounds like your DS is going to look so cute and your DH too of course. I told future DH it's too bad we can't just take his tux from the wedding on the cruise. :bride:

I bought a black and white long gown for formal night. We are going to rent a tux for DH. I haven't decided yet for semi formal night. I have a princess costume dress. I may just be crazy enough to wear it. I have started losing weight and am afraid the dresses won't fit in Sept. The thought of last minute alterations is making me stress.

Princessbelle you are so lucky to have a seamstress in the family. I am hard to fit and have wished so many times that I could sew. Hmm is your brother taking orders? :rotfl: I would like to see a pic of your dress when it's finished. I love red.

NVcruiser my DH has finally decided he will do the Tulum ruins excursion. The excursion is 7 hours. So I will definitely have some free time in Cozumel. Just let me know if you are still interested and want type of things you would like to do. I have some ideas but no plans...dolphin encounter, beach, shopping, hair braiding, relaxing on the ship? :scratchin
