9/19/09 Western Magic

Thanks so much, Chris...

We did have an amazing time there and all loved it! I really want to look into the Dolphin Swims as well. I forgot to mention the walking trails and the little coves with fish, etc. That was really cool, too.

Looking forward to meeting you!

Monica:yay:

Thanks for the pictures. We plan on doing this park on our cruise. Were there taxis waiting outside the park or do you have to call for one?
Thanks,
Shelly

HI disneyfanatics...

There were taxis waiting outside of Chankanaab and we just asked one of the men who worked there which one we could take. There seemed like there were at least 7 taxis waiting and then 3 vans (which we needed for our party of 6). Just be sure you know the price up front before you take the ride. But it was encouraging that the first person we asked all the way to the driver said the same amount ($20). You have to go through the shopping center at Cozumel to the back of it and there are taxis lined up out there.

Hope that helps! Just let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi,
Just wanted to introduce us. I am Vicki, and my DH is Greg. We just got off the WB Repo, and have booked the Sept. 12,2009 Eastern, and the Sept 19,2009 Western. Several of our fellow Repo cruisers have also booked the B2B. I am not sure we will ever be able to do 7 nights. Our 1st Disney cruise was 4 nights in Dec. 2007, and then the 15 night Panama. We have really enjoyed the Disney cruises, except for one huge problem last month. We do not have any children, except for 2 adorable miniature longhaired dachshunds.::yes:: It seems like such a long time until the cruises, but I'm sure the time will fly by starting next summer.
We look forward to cruising with everyone, we have met some of the nicest people on a cruise. Vicki

We are thinking of booking this when we are onboard the westbound PC repo in May. :yay:

Just wanted to pop-in and say "hi". :lovestruc (and bump you back up to page one) ;)

:tinker: Karen

Hi,
Are you doing this cruise too? I don't think we got to meet you on the Repo. A lot of thr repoers are doing a b2b on these cruises. Vicki

My DD and I are booked B2B on Sep 12 and 19 also. We'll have to have a B2B party up on Deck 10 between cruises!

Hi Wendy,
That sounds great. Have you ever done a b2b before? The CM told us when we booked the 2nd week that we actually have to get off the ship with the other passengers on the 19th, go through customs, and actually re-checkin at the CC desk just like we were just getting there. Apparently we then can reboard, and go on ship-we do not have to wait for general boarding. She said that there would probably not be any restaurants or pools open, and some areas on the ship may be blocked off, but we could go to our rooms. Does this sound right to anyone who has done it? I had assumed that we just stayed on board, but I guess not.:confused3 :goodvibes Vicki

Hi Vicki,
Yes, as Stacy said the latest version I've heard is that all the B2B folks are escorted off the ship together after the general disembarkation, and then immediately rechecked for the next voyage.

Craftymouse did a great trip report from her B2B last December. She also talks about how it works if you have to change rooms (she was upgraded the second week).

Wendy

Thanks Monica! I could really use some advice on things to do in Grand Cayman. Can an upright suitcase fit it in the closet? I think it's 30". Any advice for a first time cruiser would be great. :yay:

Hi all. We are booked on this cruise together with the Eastern the week before.

It will be just me, Marilyn, and my husband John. We will be very early 60's at time of cruise but we don't act like it!!!:lmao:

Looking forward to meeting you all.

well since I welcomed you on the 12th I may as well welcome you here too..

:welcome:

We have several B2B here now.. Including us.. DH & I as of so far are traveling solo.. but that tends to change ALL the time.. We kinda pick up strays along the way and make it into a Big Group ordeal :rolleyes1

We are leaving 9/27/08 for a DCL Magic and have 14 people and a Boat full of other Dis'ers :dance3:

I think we may have a confusing week---we have 2 Monica's!:rotfl:

I'm Monica - at this point booked for the b2b with the other WB Repo Thieves (but this could change depending on what comes out for 2010).

I'm sailing solo, but with friends :goodvibes

This will be cruises 5 & 6 - 3 on the Wonder, and this b2b will make it 3 on the Magic.

Can't wait to meet everyone!

Here we are.....me and DH just got off a 15 night cruise and fear that we'll never be able to take a 7 night again.....so we're booked b2b on this cruise and the one before it going East with Tortola. This will be our first b2b. It will be myself, Deb, and my DH, John, travelling together. The eastern will be our 7th DCL cruise and this one will be our 8th.....we ONLY cruise DCL. I'm waiting for one of those new ships to go to Hawaii.....that's what I want to do!

By the way, I've already been looking at excursions and I'm interested in finding hotels with pools and bars to hang out at on the excursions. If anyone runs into anything like this, please let me know. Thanks.

Just bumping this back up. I know it is almost 15 months away but......!!:)

Sadly.. No.. This will be our 1st B2B and I am Very excited :hyper:

We do have the same room reserved for both weeks :thumbsup2

Hi Stacy......have you started packing yet for your trip to FL? It's nearly the end of June and I know you said you were leaving in early July. I'm just so jealous......you're going to have a great summer. Keep us updated and share some pictures.

I think this is the first b2b for a lot of people. We're going to get so spoiled and never want to do a 7 night again.

Count me in! As of now, there will be my family (the Bowers: me, dh, dd-8yo), and friends..(Crawford family: dw,dh, ds-8yo), and friends (Parker family: dw, dh, ds-9yo, dd-3yo) and possibly more down the road.. ;) This is my family's 6th DCL cruise (well, my dd & I...we leave dh home sometimes!). My dd & I are going with our friends on another "surprise" Western DCL in December. I'm still working on how to tell my hubby about that one... :lmao:

I'd love to be a part of the FE exchange! I haven't done that before, but it sounds like alot of fun! :thumbsup2
