I know what you mean. I have a treadmill at home. I might try it. I'm afraid of spending my whole time on the island trying to finish it though.:lmao:

Thanks, it went very well. It was very long though and I am not very good at typing, so I will write about it when I have some time. The kids can't wait to send emails. They will be on the computer this afternoon. I will have her send one to Isabella. I was showing them the pictures of everyone last night and they couldn't wait to email them. Yes, Bishop is not a patient person...at all. When he finds out about something exciting he does not want to wait. That is a big part of the reason that we waited to tell them

You and me can bring up the rear! I have no doubt that it'll take me an hour and a half to do it. I even moved my waverunner excursion to 11 am to be sure I could make it. I think it'll be neat to be on the island before everyone else, if only for a little while. Maybe I'll wear shorts with pockets so I can bring a camera an snap some picks of an empty island

I got my cruise doc's today - Yipee! Thank you UPS man :worship:
FYI - small plain white bubblepack style envelope, UPS label return address: Disney Cruise

I have a question.....my docs that they sent had that brown booklet ("your travel booklet"), and the very last page says cruise and airline contract, and on the front it says that a contract is there, but it's not in mine. There's nothing after the page that just says "cruise and airline contract"? Could that be because I already did the online checkin thing, or is that a mistake? :confused3

The only other thing in there were the luggage tags.

everyone must be really busy...it is quiet here..very few posts :confused3

got our awaited for shoes and PP pouch today but no DOCS...we are getting there.

my best to you all :goodvibes

We got our Cruise Docs today, too!!! :cool1: It always is exciting and makes it seem so much more real when you see the luggage tags!!!

Hope everyone gets theirs soon!! :thumbsup2

Got ours too.....about 30 seconds after Yonkrs Girl LOL!!! :woohoo:

The UPS man was quite amused as he had a few of the same package to deliver in our neighborhood (for the other cruising friends in our group). He wanted to know what was in that package that we were so excited about !!:lmao:

Hoping Jack's Granny (Jan - cruising with us - across the hall) receives hers tomorrow out in CA.

got cruise docs around 7:30 tonight. I asked the UPS guy if he loved delivering this type of thing.

Also I'm now going on a Carnival (yes I said Carnival) cruise in October with about 20 other women from here. I've gone with this group twice in the past. Once on RCCL and once on Carnival. The group leader says the ship has recently been refurbished but I still think Carnival can be a bit tacky and plastic. Still for 234$ who can argue. Plus they're a really fun group.

Two weeks from tonight we'll be on our way to the world.

contacted TA today, he checked....says Disney said they sent to Vackay to go, he denies it...asked him to please make sure I had them, pretty please, pretty please.....

no word on when...

I'm so upset today. Tony was driving home from work and while he was stopped in traffic someone smashed into him. Thankfully he is okay, just a little sore but our car is only 6 weeks old, plus we are driving down to Disney two weeks from today. The damage doesn't look too bad but we will still have to pay the deductable of $500 to have it fixed and it wasn't even his fault.

Wow - I am so sorry that happened, Jody! Thank God he is ok, though! All that other stuff is very annoying and frustrating to deal with, but Tony is alive and ok! Since it wasn't his fault, isn't there some way to have that deductible covered by the other person's insurance? That just doesn't seem right that you're out any money when he wasn't at fault. I'm sure all that will be dealt with in time. Also, the other driver's insurance company should have to cover getting a rental car for you. You can just drive that, maybe?

Our documents arrived today too. Now I can breathe a sigh of relief. I was concerned I would have to start calling TA.

mamajojo-jody I am so relieved to hear your husband is alright. A few years ago I was in a similar accident with my new car of five months. It had to be towed away. I signed the insurance release too soon, even though it was after five months of medical treatment. I should have waited one more month because I had to have surgery which impacted my life in many ways. I am hoping you continue your good recovery and DH heals well from his bumps and bruises. I am sure the expense at this time is a burden.

Welcome to the new posters. It will be fun meeting all of you. Everyone sounds like they will be very busy in the next couple weeks. Hope all stay safe and healthy.

Yes, that's what I told him. It could have been much worse. He could have been killed or badly hurt but thankfully he is ok. He just said that his back and neck are stiff. We will see how he is tomorrow. I guess he has been lucky up to this point though. He spends 3 hours commuting to work every day.

Unfortunatley, here we have what is called no fault insurance. It doesn't matter whose fault it is, your own insurance company pays for the damage and you have to pay for the deductable. It really stinks and makes me really angry since the guy that hit him obviously wasn't paying attention but there is nothing you can do about it.

The car is not in bad shape and we can still drive it. It is just a little dented in the back. Not anything horrible, just really disappointing since the car is only 6 weeks old. He will have the mechanics look at it when he goes to work tomorrow and make sure that there is no major damage. We do have a thing with our insurance that if the car is totaled within in the first 2 years of owning it ( since it was brand new) it will be replaced for free but it is not nearly that bad....thankfully

How terrible, I am glad to hear TOny wasn't hurt though. I hope you can get it all worked out quickly. If Brooklyn wants to write to Courtney let me know, she loves writing to her new cruise friends.
