Back from our Wonder 4 day trip, it was fantastic! This was our first crusie
Weather was picture perfect, Captain Henry took us to Castaway Cay first to make sure we got there.
Excellent: service, food, activities, shows, entertainment, kids clubs!
Send off party was great, we danced, I would have liked Carribean music instead of Mickey on uppers, but it worked for my DD.
Day one was just exploring the boat, it was fun and exciting.
Day Two was Castaway Cay: weather was absolutely gorgeous! They said it had been rainy for awhile, but we had perfect weather. CC was fantastic, Disney does EVERYTHING for you! We just hung out on the beach.
Day Three was Nassau, yuck! We got off the boat, walked to Del Sol, bought a t shirt, returned to the boat. The panhandlers were very annoying. The ship wasn't crowded at all, so DD enjoyed the pool!
Day Four was Day at Sea. DH and I hung out our on quiet Deck 4 sleeping, DD was at the Ocenaeer lab.
Then it was time to go home. We were offthe ship and 7:30. We were supposed to fly home at 4:30, but because of hurricane Isabel, they put us on a 12:30 flight! YAY!
The entertainment and shows were great, we watched Spy Kids and NEmo, the live shows were great. Hercules was pretty lame, but Golden Mickeys was super. Missed Disney Dreams (duh!) it was the first night and we weren't quite with the program yet...
Dueling pianos was funny, we went to the adult one, the young guy from Australia was very quick and witty. He doens't know alot of older songs yet, but give him time, he will. The other guy was from NY and seemed fried...
The ship rocked a little too much for me, I couldn't sleep, maybe I'll take a sleeping pill next time. Any suggestions?
Food and service was excelelnt! our server Dewa was super with the kids, keeping them entertained.
We took our own liquor on board, and kept our costs down with everything else.
All in all, I'd do it again, need to figure out how to sleep, though.
Any questions, ask away!
