9/12 great article ! Who am I to say no to going to WDW?

I'm looking forward to riding Goofy's Barnstormer this year, too. Last trip George rode with the girls and I hung with Ian. This time we can all ride.:woohoo:

Up looks good. We're planning on seeing it next weekend.:thumbsup2

We saw Up this afternoon. It was SO cute! As always, the short before the movie is hilarious. We laughed out loud through much of the movie. In true Disney fashion there were plenty of jokes for the kids at heart as well as for the honest to goodness kids.

There was a preview for The Princess and the Frog. It looks really good, too. I'm glad to see that it is not going to be CGI.

The bows and dresses are adorable! Wish I could do that!

And Brook, I feel your pain about getting to do the "girly" stuff like Little Mermaid. While my boys like princesses, they are far more excited for the Incredibles and Toy Story crew.

You have a princess: on the way though, right? Then your boys will have to suffer through all the girly stuff! ;)

Glad you joined in. I have loved your reports the past few months.... but I know that your first pretrip I was never going to get caught up...

It is a cool place in the heat, so we always hit Little Mermaid, plus we have girls. I think it is fun, and gets through the story quickly too!

Thank you! It's been so fun to write the TRs. And that first PTR was a beast! I can't even remember how many pages it ended up being. Hopefully this one will be more fun and a bit more organized.

LOVE the dresses and bows. Soooo cute. And what talent! :thumbsup2

How did your little one do on Goofy's? How old was she when she went on it? I read last night that you need to be 35" to ride. Henry was 34" a few weeks ago at a Dr. appointment, so I'm guessing he'll be past 35" by the time December rolls around. I just don't want to completely freak him out-he seems to be a fairly timid child...he was scared of so many things (the drop in POTC, Figment (loud), the drop in Maelstorm, etc.) this past trip in January.

Those dresses and bows are just to cute:). What a great talent I wish I could just do the bows:goodvibes. A little matching shirt for Luke would be really cute:rolleyes1:goodvibes. I'm just saying;)

Ooooh, I agree! How cute would that be???!!!

What great updates!! I really enjoyed seeing the "looking forward tos" these past few are wonderful!! The Railroad, Goofy's! We were gifted our YOMD Dream Passes on that ride, so it will always be special! :goodvibes

The dresses! TOOOOOOOOO cute. And the hair ribbons! very sweet.

SO much to look forward to! Including Luke in new mickey ears :)

She bought Luke some shirts and shorts... did not want to show favoritism...

Oh how fun!! We love the Barnstormer too. Such a fun ride.

I want to take A. to see UP, but not sure how she would do in a theater. Can't wait to hear your experience with Em.

We did not get there, it was too nice outside. I am hoping for a night this week!

My kids better let me ride with them!

CGI- what does that stand for?

Henry has a lot of time to grow into Barnstormer... but MeMom has a trama story with Brooklynn on it though.

It is approaching quickly !

Today we are looking forward to Expedition Everest! I am excited to see what Hannah thinks... it was a big hit among her cousins, so there is some cousin pressure to give it a try!

In my defense she said she wanted to ride it!!! She didn't want to in October, but in November she wanted to but the line was too long. She says she wants to Dinosaur in July. So MeMom will have another ride to hold over my head as I continue in the "I torture my child" category.

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Don't worry, Jill! I warned one of my best friends about Dinosaur (even though my two love it), so when her two daughters decided to get cranky, she and her husband took them on it. She said they didn't say a word for an hour afterwards, and then the rest of the trip whenever they misbehaved she would say, "Do we need to go ride Dinosaur again?" :lmao::rotfl::rotfl2:

Cousins are so much more convincing than moms... I think you may be right!!

If she does okay on Barnstormer, I bet she will do okay on Everest -- I think Barnstormer is the worst of the coasters! (Yes, I am a ride chicken!)

And those don't even show the worst of it! :scared:

I won't hold Dinosaur over your head, because she wants to ride it. I have heard it from her.
Barnstormer was all you and John, and I will never forgive you for that one! :snooty:

My poor baby. Makes me just want to come down there and love on her right now.

Maybe that's what her nightmares are about. I think I may have heard her faintly crying something about Goofy and airplane and way too fast in the darkness of the night when I was down there last week. ;)

Sorry for the 'hijack', ILuvXU! I thought the pictures might help Brook think about putting Henry on or not, and I like to aggravate Jill about that fateful day, too.

I'm caught up.

It's funny you posted about hair bows. While I was in Disney I saw so many cute little girls with hair bows that I told myself if I have a little girl, she will wear hair bows, they are just so cute!

We saw UP on Saturday---LOVED it!!!! So cute, funny, and REALLY touching! The animation is UNREAL!!!

How tall do they have to be to do EE??? I am thinking Megs will be tall enough for it this year....she LOVES rollercoasters, so I am hoping we can go on it!

Dinosaur???? are you kidding me. That ride scares me to death, I still duck and get nervous, and I know it is not real. I don't think I will ever ride that again until I have to, and I hope the kids stay off it too!

I think my huband could say that to me to keep me in line... that is a punishment!

Cousins, especially ones that are seven when you are not six quite yet are well... cool!

Another vote for Up!

No worries.. I am impressed at how fast you can supply pictures on demand!

I remembered that.... but I sure bet she will love it now...

I'm caught up.

Both my girls (especially Emily, even now) were late to have much hair (or later than I wanted) so I am big into doing their hair with bows and such. I am a sucker for matching Gymboree bows, and well since I like to get stuff from the same collection I am normally having a matching bow. I am afraid Hannah will abandon my bows soon... but I will not stop! In fact I tease that at least she can wear cute bows with her uniform next fall!

I think EE is 45 or 44. Hannah is over 46 inches --- at Kings Island she is big enough to ride Whitewater Canyon and Congo Falls this season.

So June has arrived. I can say we are going to WDW this month.

We have 15 days till Disney, 10 days left of school/teacher workdays! (that still sounds like a ton of days)

and lots of stuff to do like 5 softball games, go see Up and well pack! I only did a tad bit of planning this weekend, like EPCOT so now I need to get on the ball!

Have a great Monday everyone, it was bottle time here so I am up early... and took a peek at the calendar (I am thinking my sleeping princess: won't awake until after I go to school ) said we are looking forward to

Spaceship Earth!

That's just Luke's way of letting you know how excited he is to be going to Disney World this month! :dance3:

He's thinking about getting up real early every day until you leave to rejoice over that!

Happy June 1st! Isn't it great to say, "We're going to Disney this month"? I woke up this morning and thought (why I didn't think of it yesterday, I don't know), "We're going to Disney this week!"

Spaceship Earth is so much fun -- I just hope it doesn't stop a million times like last year!
