9/12 great article ! Who am I to say no to going to WDW?

Happy Birthday Emily!! :wizard:

It must be a HUGE relief to not have to call for ADRs on a work morning! You should have plenty of time to get them before you have to leave for Hannah's Kindergarten screening. Yay! :woohoo:

That is great about your ADR'S and getting to make them in the morning!:thumbsup2 A BIG Happy Birthday to Emily!!!!!!!:wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

Happy Birthday Emily!!! I hope the party goes smoothly for you.

Sounds like you had a fun day enjoying the warm weather. :)

Hi Laura!

I really enjoyed reading your previous trip reports so I was happy to stumble upon your PTR as I was surfing the boards this morning.

Luke is adorable and the girls are growing into lovely young ladies.

I'm so glad that you are getting a Disney trip this year after all and that your parents are going to be joining you.

Looking forward to reading along as you plan your trip and I can't wait to read the report!

Happy Birthday Emily!:bday:

Sorry to hear about the pictures! I hope you are able to reschedule or get a refund. I need to get Easter pictures taken, but I keep dragging my feet, because I know its not going to work very well.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, EMILY!!!

Now that's just cute enough to see again!
I wish I was computer savvy enough to know how to do all the little cutesie things. I get bored with the same old smileys.

no savviness involved - i just went to photobucket and searched for "happy birthday disney" and got lucky. ;)

Happy birthday Emily! I hope it was a truly magical day and you had a wonderful birthday party!

Sorry to hear the pics didn't go as well as you'd like. I am always worried about forking out as much as you have to get photos done and then having the kids flake out on me. I am jealous you guys have kindergarten screeners there. I am so mixed on whether or not I want to send Doug to kindergarten next year and really feel like a screener would give me a clearer picture. I am really hoping to get the kids to the zoo this week. Glad to hear the new stroller worked so well too!

Sorry about your crappy photoshoot. I hate it when that happens. I hope that Emily had a nice birthday.
And Punkin, that birthday greeting was great!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMILY!!!! I HOPE ALL YOUR PRINCESS DREAMS COME TRUE!!!

Laura---so sorry to hear about the bad pictures!!! I am hoping for your sake you can have them retaken soon!!! FINGERS CROSSED!!!

The weather this weekend was TOO nice---I hope we don't get spoiled by it and then get a dumping of snow! I am hoping it just decides to go ahead and stay Spring....I'm ready!

Thanks for the birthday wishes! She had a great birthday and even got to ride her new big girl bike a bit this weekend. I still cannot believe she is three....it makes me so sad, probably because she acts like a big girl too! We are off to the store... time to get the countdown calendar going!

It sounds like you got lucky with the work schedule, I'll bet that your call doesn't take long at all.
Sounds like your mom is going to have her hands full, and Hanna will be really tired after swim and softball!
Sorry about the Easter pics, is there time for another sitting?
A 70 degree zoo day in March is a bonus! Glad the stroller worked out:goodvibes
Hope Em has a great birthday......princess:

Now I worry that there are no 8:00am or 8:05 CP Breakfasts ADRs... that is what I want. If we can't get one I guess I might move it to dinner... new problem I guess. I do like dinner there, so I won't be upset, but an empty Main St....

I am calling tomorrow about the Easter pic. We will see. I am pretty sure I will try it again, I really want one.

Ahhh, the early rites of Spring!

Glad you enjoyed your day and Happy Birthday to the Big Girl! :cutie:

Kathy

We were outside both yesterday and today... I just wish it would stay nice, but I know we are not done with some cold.

That's a shame about the Easter pics! :(

Happy Birthday to Em!!! We get photos from the birthday party, right?

I need to upload and look at them. I gave DH the camera---scary???

Happy Birthday, Emily!

:bday: party:

It was fun... she is so sweet and just loves to play and be happy!

Happy Birthday Emily!! :wizard:

I just hate wasting cell phone minutes on hold or anything that crazy--- Disney should have an 800 number!

That is great about your ADR'S and getting to make them in the morning!:thumbsup2 A BIG Happy Birthday to Emily!!!!!!!:wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

Today with the time change was a rough morning... I will enjoy being home on Monday morning next week.

Happy Birthday Emily!!! I hope the party goes smoothly for you.

I love it! I can't believe she is three!

I always do Easter at this place.... I cut the Christmas pics there to save some $$ but cannot bear to cut this (live bunnies and chicks) Although part of my disappointment was the girls did not get to hold them. Hannah has before ... I think she would have liked too!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, EMILY!!!

So cute... she loved it Dawn!

Great plans, and your kids are so cute.

Thanks!

When is his birthday? Hannah will be six in August. I am a huge fan of not sending young kids... I have never had a parent say I wish I had sent my child, but have looked at many kids that would be better in second grade (remember I teach third grade). They would be ready/mature enough for second but struggle with that combo in third. That is JMO though.

HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY EMILY:cake: party: :bday:

Thanks!

Sorry about your crappy photoshoot. I hate it when that happens. I hope that Emily had a nice birthday.
And Punkin, that birthday greeting was great!!!

I am sad her celebrating is done...she is so fun to watch as the center of attention.

Don't even mention that awful white stuff.... Emily had a big snow on her birthday last year.... we were stuck at home, with no food or fun, poor girl.

Yippee!!! I can't wait to see what you do for a countdown!!!

To give you a hint.... we started with a trip to Home Depot:rolleyes1 but we are going to make it multi-step, working on number id and some letter/word recognition... yes I am a teacher nerd....

You know, I need to get our countdown started. I just can't get motivated!

Help! I need motivation!!!!

I totally know what you mean Laura. That is EXACTLY my struggle. I taught special ed for 8 years before the boys arrived. I cannot tell you how many meetings it was determined that the late birthday was the cause the of whatever it was that was troubling the child.

Doug's birthday is Aug. 5th. So, he would be one of the younger kids in his class. I had planned to just do the transitional kindergarten program that his preschool offers, but he really is overwhelming me lately (in a good way). He's got all his letters and letter sounds down (has for about a year) and is really working on his sight word vocab. I think he's got 30 to 40. Every sign he sees with under about 5 letters has become a sounding out project for him. He counts to 100 and is doing some adding and subtracting. I am worried about his social skills and the x factor that happens when he hits the upper el grades. We've got a parent teacher conference with his preschool teacher tomorrow and plan on spending most of it talking about this. It's such a big decision to make for someone so little. Mason really seems to encourage sending kids to kindergarten once they turn 5, so maybe I'll sneak him into your district's screener so I have one more puzzle piece.

I am totally that mad teacher too! This is totally what I was envisioning when you said it was going to be multi-step to include both kids!
